Weither its paid protest or not I don't care.
Did anybody complain when saraki gathered his almajiri fellows to protest in his support when his trial was ongoing?

Most of u guys don't read the article but just comment anyhow.
A univeRsity graduating 172 out of over 37,000 graduates in five years means that she graduate an average of 35 which too smallaas compared to most schools in the south that over 100 graduates yearly.

U forget to add
If Saraki wins he will become the next president after Buhari
Or else
He will rot in jail.
So the case is a gamble for him and a litmus test to Nigeria as a nation.

Education / Why I Don't Regret Studying Engineering by lafex: 7:45am On Apr 17, 2016
After reading the two treads; https://www.nairaland.com/3051597/17-mathematics-equations-changed-world
And
https://www.nairaland.com/3052950/35-common-equations-chemistry-must
I don't have option than to keep on laughing because I am very familiar with over 80percent of the equations. I don't also need to wait for physics equations because I used them.daily as chewing gum when I was an under graduate student.
Secondly, an engineer can replace a wide range of specialists in science while scientists cannever replace engineers. An example is a civil engr replacing a builder while a builder cannever replace a civil engr. Also mechanical or elect engr can replace a mathematican but not vice versa, chemical engr can replace a chemist but not vice versa, etc.
Lastly, an engr can cope in a wide range of fields (science or non science) if he's given the same opportunity as others. An example is a banking industry in engrs perform better than their counterparts in other fields (even banking and finanance or accounting graduates).
PS;all what's written here is not absolute but base on my observation so its open to criticism.

Agriculture / Fishery Or Poultry; Which Is More Lucrative? by lafex: 12:49pm On Apr 14, 2016
I intend to start an Agric business (particularly fishery and poultry) soonest but I wish to start with the more lucrative one because I can't afford to start both at once.
So I will like to request the advice of the experienced people in this forum on the more lucrative one between fishery and poultry.
Thank you in advance.

Career / Must Read For All Salary Earners by lafex: 10:10am On Jan 20, 2016
After 4 years of selfless service, I realized that I had not been promoted, no salary increment, no commendation.

So I decided to walk up to my HR Manager.

The manager looked at me, smiled and asked me to sit down saying:

"My friend you have not worked here for even a single day."

I was shocked to hear this !!!

But the manager went on to explain, and here's the conversation that took place.

Manager: How many days are there in a year?

Me: 365 days and sometimes 366.

Manager: Do u come to work on weekends?

Me: No sir.

Manager: How many days are there in a year that are weekends?

Me: 52 Saturdays and 52 Sundays equals to 104 days.

Manager: Thanks for that. If u remove 104 days from 366 days. how many days
do u now have?

Me: 262 days

Manager: How many hours make up a day?

Me: 24 Hours.

Manager: How long do u work in a day?

Me: 10am to 6pm
(i.e 8 hours a day.)

Manager: So, what fraction of the day do u work in hours?

Me: 8/24
i.e 1/3 (one third).

Manager: This is nice of u! what is 1/3rd of 262 days?

Me: 87
(1/3 x 262 = 87days)

Manager: I do give u 2 weeks sick leave, 15 days casual leave, 5 days optional leave, 30 days earned leave every year. Now remove that 64 days from the 87 days left. How many days do u have remaining?

Me: 23 days.

Manager: Do u work on festivals ? (20 days)

Me: No Sir!

Manager: Do u work on Republic Day?

Me: No sir!

Manager: Do u come to work on Independence Day?

Me: No sir!
Manager: So how many days r left?

Me: 1 day sir!

Manager: Do you come to work on New year's day..?

Me: No sir..!!

Manager: So how many days are left?

Me: None Sir!

Manager: So what r u claiming?

Me: I have understood, Sir. I did not realise that I was stealing company
money all these days.

Moral - NEVER GO TO HR FOR HELP!!!

(HR-HIGH RISK.)
.
.
.

So, How many days do you work ?

ENJOY UR DAY!!!
