Ugly duckling: From her pictures, I think her problem stems from how she dresses. She doesn't look too far from her 47 years. However she dresses like a teenager and will consequently attract only young toy boys. If she dresses more age appropriately, she would have no need for cosmetic surgery and would only look like a 47 year old taking good care of hegrself. Those are the pictures dailymail decided to post, one cant say much. And besides she said she has been dressing to look old but no succes since her face is still looking young. At first it might sound ridiculous but she got a point. Most men might want this at first but as time pass by, things will start getting awkward. You bring your wife to your party and some friends will say if thats your mistress. |
It is not all about passing law to stop young girls from marrying early but protecting from the beginning. In the North, young girls are married off early, in the south they are made to work as housmaid or go into prostitution. All these can be link to one factor; poverty. People shouldn't underestimate the power of poverty. Iaws or inspirational talks and campaigns about girls rite wont put food on their table. We live in a sick world where people dont render help sincerely with out expecting something in return. So many things are simply just wrong in Nigeria |
coogar: i think the government should do something to the army of semi-illiterate bloggers in nigeria. they just make up false news in order to drive traffic to their blogs thus confusing the populace. there should be a strict regulatory body to put them in check to prevent misinformation.....i agree with you completely. i once enter a blog about a story of two nigeria university girls fighting on the street over a boyfriend, a video was attached but the story was all lies. the video was that of two Jamaican street girls that was posted on youtube like 4years ago. i knew that because i had seen the video in past. |
enough is enough, split this country. so a nigerian cant move around the world without suspicion of being a drug pusher. these people should stop spoiling our name anyhow. am habatically angry. |
Iykebestbt: click "like" if you don't want the bill to see the light of the day.this is the big lie on ground. there was NEVER a bill in front of the senate. yerima added nothing to the constitution rather he objected to the removal of a clause that has been present since 1999. |
since it happened in calabar, the southerners will pretend like nothing happened. i was expecting this thread to reach 10 pages by now . |
On a closer look, the guy is actually a chelsea fan. After the jersey was removed, he was suddenly on a chelsea jersey.. It was a message to man United nothing more. |
Ofcourse it didn't happen in Nigeria. What do Nigerians achieve in Nigeria in terms of research? Congrats to the guy. He should better stay where he is and not bother coming to Nigeria as suggested by tafida. |
Thats a country that implements law. Why can't these Nigerians stay clear of the illegal job, already giving good Nigerians bad names as drug pushers. Smh. |
mama sunday, very old movie though. |
Afam4eva: I think no 3 nails the coffin. It's better to tell someone you don't love them anymore than to say you never loved them. It means you were pretending all these while. You are right but some ladies can force love down your throat for some selfish reasons of theirs. |
greatgod2012: None can really get to me, because, if anyone had told me any of that, he would have realised hes the one that is really missing out! And he will be regretting by now and beyond.Trying to be strong right, it ain't that easy because if you are that fantastic, why did he leave. |
Ajibel: Thats a nice devt. Buh i still want all the clubs to have a good website. Most of their websites are very poor and shameful that's because most supporters don't visit their site. Well I for one have never visited any Nigeria club website. Again they don't have to money to spend on website when they still owe players salary. |
Unless athletic balboa refuse, marcelo beilsa might take over Others include the assistant Jordan roura, Barcelona b team head coach. I don't think they will go for a big name. Even keshi can manage barca well as long as Messi plays but with the arrival of Neymar, barca will need good coach. |
Nysc should stop posting corpers to the north |
Ok |
I know it is from dawn to dusk. The only think bothering me is that dawn to dusk is not the same for everyone. Will the people in Alaska get better rewards than those in Nigeria for fasting longer? Again, i'm trying to be educated. I do not want anyone bringing some sort of malice into this.
Not better reward but of course more reward for the length of fasting, an extra reward. In islam we have general rules that applies to every regions with no confusion. Since its from dawn to dusk, regardless of how many hours it is, fasting has to be observed. |
It's 19hours in the UK. From 2:30am to 9:30pm. Not easy since its summer but Alhamdillah no reason yo break it at any time of the day. Ramadan would have been lovely had it come during the winter like someone said. |
speeder: You bigotted idiiot, it made a mere Nairaland's Front Page. Which headline do you mean exactly? Ewucalm down.you are suppose to have basic sense. what i meant was the bombing was never the talk of the day in media houses. they just mentioned it like it was normal news, no outrage or a commando reaction from the prime minister since it was a terror attack. the story never trend on twitter. the AP guy on twitter has been recycling news about the bombing in iraq but not a single news about this incident my point is this, if it was an attempted attack on a subway etc, it will hit nairaland front page 30mins after it news breaks out not a day after, the news will be recyled at every hour mark. |
Alhamdulilah no life was lost. as usual, the news didn't make headlines across the globe like it never happened. |
funny thread. |
so bipi wasnt innocent afterall? |
ramadan kareem , |
kambah: Who are the local imams, imagine a scholars that taught your great-fathers, you are calling them local imams. Anyway, I don't blame you, you are among people that terrorising islam by claiming unnecessary sunnah. Your types are in Egypt, Libya, Syria, Tunisia. May Allah protect us from evil youths that are trying to introduce new way of practising Islam.you response aint good. you should have responded kindly but choosed to be aggressive about it. you interpreted local as been backward, which is wrong. finally, in islam you think positive of your muslim brothers before thinking negative about them, when in doubt, ask for clarification. it really disturbed me as to why you chosesed to respond in the manner you did. by the way, your international imams must have told you that insult is haram, most especially during fasting. |
Every one has contributed well. My heart aches will Ramadan approaches with the fear that we may not start at the same. To me the solution is us agreeing that whatever the sultan says is final, people say why should that be the case. Like someone pointed out we need more awareness especially from the local imams. May Allah guide us to the straight path. |
Death sentence by suicide Bombing should be the most preferred punishment for them. Evil people. |
i guess boko haram are not the only bastards.ss that need a cease fire agreement. |
funshybam: ....and how is it your problem if a man marries a manHow is it any body's problem if people want to take concain or any hard drugs, it's their body afterall but yet taking or transporting hard drugs is illegal right? Of what benefits are gays to humanity, nothing of worth. If anybody wants to practice homo, he should practice it in his bedroom, the public don't need them. |
free2ryhme: they are busy building malls to honour their Emir when almajiris and street urchins has been human weapons for boko haram .. Misplaced prioritiesSincerely what do you suggest should be done? You don't have any. How do you solve boko haram if able bodied men are rooming the streets with out job? What you should have said is the government should focus on building production industry, create a long term sustainable jobs. Nevertheless, the mall ain't a bad idea |
As for me, good for her, what ever reason it is, is welcomed. |
misterh: Me i don't understand o! She did not accept Islam because she was convinced it was the right religion, but cos of her baby! Can someone please explainThe husband is a muslim, she was not and husband wants the child to grow up as a muslim and of course brought up by a muslim mother. So if she wants to have custody of the child, she has to be a muslim. This is what I think she meant. |
Not in support of the removal of immunity clause. We are gonna abuse it and I tell you, it's gonna complicate lot of things. For example a governor is removed three years into his tenure on charges of corruption, the next guy enters, he doesn't continue from where the last guy stops rather his first day is his day one thereby making it impossible for elections to hold in the fourth year. so cycle continues. |
