Lagosian motorist will be relieve by this news, there is always constant argument about accepting the notes or not.
Politics › Re: Inflation Drops To 8.6 Percent, Lowest In 5 Years by lafuria1(m): 5:42pm On Apr 18, 2013
You are wrong, as usual. There is nothing like 'the price of 50kg is x or y'. It depends on quality and type. And for your garri price, white garri has never been the same price as yellow garri which is not also same as the price of Ijebu garri.

You are just caught up in negativity, trying very hard to downplay any and every positive news coming out of Nigeria while emphasizing the negative ones. I know GEJ's success threatens people like you and your political association, but hey, it benefits Nigerians which is what really matters.

It is a big deal that we are on a single digit inflation rate. It is a big deal that we are still improving. It is also a big deal that we have positive economic indices everywhere against the cry by Lie Mohammed that the economy is on the verge of collapse.

The investing community is watching. The global watchers are on the lookout. Things are looking good on the economic side of things. These indices that we are seeing can only come from an environment of fiscal discipline, mature budgeting system and successful FG policies. They can never come from a 'corrupt, clueless and incompetent' leadership as ACN people want us to believe GEJ's team to be.

The figures are coming out and they are running around the place telling us the price of 'rice' as if the price of 'Abakaliki rice' or 'elephant rice' has always been same as the price of 'mama gold'
i guess u have comprehension problem. he wasnt comparing prices of different brand, he is talking of a single brand that cost 8k and now 12k. at least he has some figures with him, do u have any to prove inflation is reducing. even to those who didnt go to school, when inflation drops, prices should drop, but in nigeria, its different. whats the point of having good figures when the reality is different but to you, its all about politics.

ednut1: 2.1 never see job self, most employers do these to limit number of pple dat apply for jobs, imagine as an employer u put out advert with no grade status, u need 5 pple 150000 pple apply, how u go take shortlist, the demand for jobs out do d supply. in dis 9ja na leg sure pass dont be decieved most 2.1 are jobless also. although am a 2.1, wen i was in skul i created fake cv with grade 1st class, ican, ccna qualification, na only 1 job invite d cv get
grin grin grin @ fake CV. thats just the reality. you need good degree and connections. two important things,
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Any Hope For Graduates With 2nd Class Lower? by lafuria1(m): 3:57pm On Apr 18, 2013
the sad reality in nigeria is that no hope for any class of degree, even if u have bsc and masters from any UK universities. the jobs are not even there. 2years after service, guys haven't gotten a job yet. the requirement says 2.1 which obviously put 2.2 candidate off but i feel if you have a masters degree, its an added advantage.

Politics › Re: Talking-around-the-bush: 93% Northern Girls Lack Secondary Education - Sanusi by lafuria1(m): 12:44am On Apr 13, 2013
CFCfan: Something has to be done to re-orientate the majority of the Muslim population in that area of the benefits of Western education! Who knows, some of the 93% of the illiterate women may be the next big entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
1.i personlly feel the 93percent is on the high side but the reality is the illiteracy level is high. female education is complicated issue. to be frank, lot females are going to school now but the quality of education is so poor that even the male cant read proper english. many females attend school now i see lot of them, but they are doing poorly that they cant pass a single subject other than hausa language in WAEC. so if the males arent doing well in school, whats the point of sending the female.
2.poverty is big issue, rather than send the young girls to school, they are sent hawking. in kaduna, there have been public enlightenment/orientation about the dangers of sending young girls hawking but the parents still force them to. the parents will say they cant afford the school fees and the sad truth is the cant and this girls are their source of livelihood.
3. early marriage is also a factor, some are due to tradition, others are due to moral necessasity.
4. unemployment: the male with all their degrees dont have jobs, why send the females?, these are the the kind of logic one has to deal with.
solution:
frankly the solution lies in the government, not just about re-orientation or preaching but practical solution like free WAEC exam to all female student in govt schools. lot have been going on to improve female education in the north but frankly nothing much can be achieve unless the problem i mentioned above are solved. forming 100 NGOs wont solve 5percent of it.
Politics › Re: Boko-Haram Planned To Bomb Third-Mainland Bridge’ by lafuria1(m): 12:22pm On Apr 09, 2013
1.i have no reason to doubt the story of cache of weapons, thats a big possibilty but planning to bomb third-mainland bridge doesnt make any sense to me for the simple reason that fuel tankers and trailers DO NOT use the 3rd mainland bridge anymore for the past 4 years. any lagosian that uses the 3rd mainland bridge would know that, so how come the guardian intelligence couldnt see a flaw in their assertion. well unless they plan using a bus or multiple vehicles but definately not a fuel tanker.
2. anyway, kudos to them for a disaster averted, hope they do their job effectively because if anything happens to lagos, mouth no go fit talk am.

TV/Movies › Re: Game Of Thrones Vs Spartacus by lafuria1(m): 6:49pm On Apr 05, 2013
I prefer GOT. The violence in spartacus is too much. I stopped watching from season two and besides spartacus was to predicticable. Whereas game of throne was truly a game no one knew how it will end. GOT keep making you asking why and how. I never believed Khal drogo and stark will die, that's the beauty GOT. if you love violence scenes soo much, well spartacus is for you.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Real Madrid Vs Galatasaray : UCL (3 - 0) On 3rd April 2013 by lafuria1(m): 11:00pm On Apr 03, 2013
CFCfan: Amazing! I'm not hating, but Ronaldo is unlikely to break the 14-goal record held by Messi.
he doesnt have too. both have diff stat to themselves. yesterday it was about messi scoring in 20 different cities with paris being the latest, seriously who does those counting in the past.

by the time the run out of record, it will be number pass per game that will be use to rate them. it will take a brace or hatrick from cr7 to achieve that with a least 3 games to go.messi scored five in one game last season to make up the fourteen, y not cr7. well i know it will be hard.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Real Madrid Vs Galatasaray : UCL (3 - 0) On 3rd April 2013 by lafuria1(m): 10:52pm On Apr 03, 2013
truth be told galatasary were woeful in both defence and attack. Hidding behind ref decisions is a lame excuse unlike man utd.

as for benzema, truth be told, the rule never changed before and after the nani incidence, everyone was suprised even madrid fans were too, so to all man u fans stop complaining.

yilmaz penalty, initial reaction, looked like diving because his foot was on the ground when the ramos steped on it, and the manner in which he went to the ground didnt help, whatever though, it was a PENALTY as the rule says.

all these shout about the refree/uefa tonight would have sound right if galatasary did well, did the refree stop them from defending well, did uefa stop them from scoring, did fatih terim (coach) tell sneider and yilmaz(2nd CL high goal scorer) to play woefully?.
Politics › Re: Okupe To Buhari - Persuade Boko-Haram To Accept Dialogue by lafuria1(m): 2:19am On Apr 03, 2013
i dont know why the presidency fears buhari. the way the presidency react is making me believe the conspiracy that the govt deliberately allowed the post election violence to take place by not putting enough security, then going to the media to call buhari to provide security during the period. i stiill dont understand why they love twisting buhari's words whenever his speaks in hausa.

the presidency is out to twist and blackmail simple. buhari doesnt want to get himself involve in boko haram because presidency asking him to do something will turn around and say he his dia leader. wont bother to say much

Sports › Re: Yobo Blasts Keshi Over Kenya Snub by lafuria1(m): 2:29pm On Apr 02, 2013
dont worry, keshi would come and say he did inform yobo but chossed to ignore and ran to the press.

anyway, i feel yobo should retire, it was obvious in the nations cup that he was only coming in just because he is the captain and not a tactical change. yobo wont even play the match for sure but yet still talking of not been called up.
as a captain, nobody will want to force yobo out like sack him, is not done but at least use his church mind to retire.

when raul of R.madrid knew he was not needed,he gracely retired and moved on, interest of the team first and not your own.
