i have no problem with the woman, what she is doing is happening everywhere in the country, it has become an acceptable norm because pple put pressure on the head to employ the kins and kith. what i just hate is how people defend and critize. you insult and critizse an action, say it is mediocrity, shouting that people should be employed base on merit but wen the system u critize finally favours you, u start to defend it.

i always tell people you will know the true nature of a group of people wen u give them power. when u havent been given power, its easy to shout and critize..

I could remember, during my IT days in one of the Nigeria Breweries plant, the brewery manager cant even speak english let alone speaking with error, but he was the number one man at the brewery and perfoming his duties perfectly. So i really dont know what we Nigerians see in another man's language.

agree with you. english is only spoken during class interaction, afterwards, the local dialect takes over. trying to speak or write proper english is hardly been a priority in universities today. the only time most people try to speak well is during their final year project presentation. i will rather judge a nigerian graduate on the compentcy of their field of study..

people need to meet italians and chinese and then we will realise that we are doing pretty well in english.. words like hear, year, here, worn, warn won etc are really a bit confusing.

dividing kaduna will be the solution to this madness. a good christian makes a good decision dat favours his frnds, he is accused of religious bias and vice-versa. if you live in kaduna, you will understand.

2 weeks not bad, i just hope the holiday doesnt affect doctors and nurses. 2weeks holiday wont hurt the state. on paper it sounds unacceptable but reality is the state wont be affected. how much revenue will imo state lose in the 2weeks that pdp is shouting? schs are on break, water supply will continue, electricity will still be provided and people will have to pay their bills after the holidays. nothing spoil.

y me: 1) I feel bad when my friends are studying and I am not. that motivates me to study
2) I love challenging educated people, the only way to achieve that is to study
3) I love watching intelligent movies/series and when a character in the movie is damn intelligent, I aspire to be like that hence the motivation to study comes in (weird abi )
4) when my friend calls me a scholar (which i am clearly not )i get motivated to study
5) when I am being a lazy bum and I update on BBM i am finding it difficult to study, I get pings on how hardworking I am and that in a way gives me the motivation to study because I know people believe in me
6) The fact I feel I am career oriented also motivates me to study


P.S. No matter what, there are times when you don't feel like studying, don't push it because in many occassions you will achieve nothing from studying unwillingly, just relax and set a time for yourself to study and make sure you keep to it
