Sports › Re: Didier Drogba Gives £800,000 Worth Of Diamond RingsTo Former Chelsea Team Mates by lafuria1(m): 7:41pm On Dec 07, 2012
50calibre: £800,000 just on rings? We are speaking of about 200 million naira here, na wah oh! Football is blood money, recession or credit crunch no dey their dictionary.
exactly i agree with you, but i blame the fans. they keep coming to staduims, buying ticket and club marchandise. imagine, greece clubs played in the champions league and their league still running despite the country economic problem. nou camp and bernebua is always full to capacity and yet spain are looking for bailout. humans too like football.
NYSC › Re: Mohammed Jammal: White Nigerian Corper by lafuria1(m): 2:34am On Dec 07, 2012
Blue Magic: Here we go again. Nigerians always celebrating mediocrity. Wat if his white what's d big deal. How did he even qualify for the NYSC programme did he graduate from a Nigerian college/university? Is he even Nigerian? What makes him better than the average corper? I'm sure he will be given preferential treatment. exempted 4rm a whole bunch of stuffs. A whole load of crap. Am so glad i gave up my Nigerian citizenship y'all can have it.
do you know what dual citizenship is? from the post, is all about someone who is a foreigner and has the choice to serve or not. u dont have gradute from a nigeria uni to serve so long as u are a nigeria and he is, born in jos and attended secondary sch there. he is no better than other corpers, he didnt say so and beside he served in nasarawa camp and not lagos or abj where most 'nigerians' walk their way to. u think he will be given prefential treatment because it was stated? why didnt the guy seek for nysc exemption becos he is 'white'. wetin make u dey provoke for simple matter. the source is a blog not a nigerian paper sef. u guys will just over blow issue as if the guy was given a national award.
grin
NYSC › Re: Mohammed Jammal: White Nigerian Corper by lafuria1(m): 2:19am On Dec 07, 2012
no one is celebrating white here. have u ever seen or heard a foreigner serve in nigeria? no. if there was no picture, most of you will ask for evidence. nigerian studying abroad is not news but a foreigner, even from ghana coming to study here in nigeria is news. we can pretend and form superiority complex here but we know the reality grin grin.

Family › Re: Indian Village Bans Use Of Cellphones By Women by lafuria1(m): 10:29pm On Dec 06, 2012
what is wrong with some of you, simply because it was coming from the muslims you decided to go against it. well ignorance is an incurable diseases.

there is nothing wrong with what they did. they wanted to solve an issue that was of value to them than cell phones. their women are misusing the cell phones to communicate and elope with lovers, even married womam. this is a problem to them and decided the best way was to cut any form of communication. do u have a better solution? we know how cell phones break marriages in nigeria where a stupi.d ex will still be calling after the marriage.

there are advantages and disadvantages of using cell phones, in their case, the phone is being misuse by their women and they dont like. will approve of your wife making phones with men, i guess not.
my only reservation is how the women will make contact in case of emergency, a provision should be made available like a public phone both.

Family › Re: Your Mother-in-law Or Your Mother: Who Stays After Your Wife Delivers? by lafuria1(m): 4:44pm On Dec 06, 2012
in hausa culture, it always the wife's mother-in-law. since the wife moves to the husband house, she is automatically under the care of the husband relative. if wife's mother should comes, it gives the impression that the husband family cant take care of the wife. the wife's mother can come but main responsublity is on the husband's mother or sisters.

its more of a cultural thing on who stays.
Nairaland General › Re: Diezani Alison-madueke Blames Nigerians For Petrol Scarcity by lafuria1(m): 12:15pm On Dec 06, 2012
in summary if nigerians dont wont fuel scarcity, they should turn a blind eye to corruption and someone will say media is negative about pdp. can u defend this? oh maybe she was quoted out of context.

black male: How much more can a military commander be more wanting than a bomb going off under his command, infact they should be court marshaled. You guys stop exuding blatant bigotry joor!! there wasn't so much out cry from u guys when innocent people died as a result of this blast oh....
the cheif commander of the armed forces doesnt give a damn about the innocent people and you know who that is.
Politics › Re: JNI, CAN Clash On Removal Of Army Commandants by lafuria1(m): 4:40pm On Dec 05, 2012
the fact is JNI dont trust CAN and vice-versa. there is suspicison in the north that CAN wants to control the army in oder to cause harm to the muslim. CAN also have same suspicion. CAN will defend why this officers should go and JNI will protest and vice versa. i remember when CAN asked for saleh maina (commander in jos) to be removed after a certain attack in jos took place.

IF we are to go buy the logic that the officers should be sacked because their cantonment was bombed, i believe GEJ should be remove since he hasnt been able to solve the insecurity. this same CAN will kick against the removal of GEJ on security ground.

my point is both JNI and CAN are not helping issues by interfering in this matter. if army get polarised along religious line, we are domed. it is not a hidden fact that both JNI and CAN try to influence the number of muslim or christians that get recruited into the army. dont really know why. huh
Politics › Re: FG Spends N9bn Annually On 10-Aircraft Presidential Fleet by lafuria1(m): 11:26am On Dec 05, 2012
its not my business how much FG spent on jet, i have my family to look after.
of course we all do. you would be able to look after ur family better if the govt spend more, efficiently and with zeal on infrastructure (health and education)like it does in maintaing its 10 aircraft and other trivial spendings.
Politics › Re: The Media Is An Opposition Dominated Industry by lafuria1(m): 1:59am On Dec 05, 2012
no one stops the ruling party to dominate the media industry, and beside we all saw how they use that to their advantage during the elections. non stop campaingn. no one stops the ruling party from using twitter but we all knowing that defending this govt policies is for heartless people. how do u defend 2bn naira banquet hall, subsidy theieves are smiling, the benefit of removing subsidy etc. ask ur self why is abati not active on twitter, he cant withstand the heat. if this govt was doing the right thing, it is the masses that will defend them. i dont need el rufai or whoever to tell me this govt isnt working.

and by the way is NTA off the air? has thisday stoped publishing?

what has PDP acheived in nigeria to make them worth mentioning? for 12years the economy of the north is non exitant governed by pdp governors and expect pple to praise them? i dont get. look the ACN guys arent saint and also have their problemss but far beta than pdp......i don talk to much..
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: UCL: Real Madrid Vs Ajax (4 - 1) On 4th December 2012 by lafuria1(m): 11:28pm On Dec 04, 2012
i would love to watch realmadrid canterra vs bacerlona la masia ( name for their youth system). both are in the segunda division. we will know who have a beta youth system. la masia cant play football, they keep passing to messi, messi scores and they feel they can play. grin grin grin

tello is off target shooter. pedro is offside master, pique shakira bodyguard, alcantara no assist, only aimless stepovers.busquet we all know. i only respect iniesta and xavi and valdez too for the super cup gift grin grin

the last madrid goal was a product of madrid youth system. morata to callejon. but in barca it is everybody to messi. i know messi will play tommorrow with the so called la masia youth

immediately i saw this thread, my close frnd came to mind. the guy jealousy no get measure. @ poster, same way u describe ur frnd, so was mine. always want to be ontop. i have so many incidents but e don pass. he will just get angry just becos i show am the 500 naira shirt wai i buy grin grin.

when i realise thats how he is ie the jeolous type, i dont bother showing him any stuf i got, ensure i dont bring it into discussion and when he comments on it i answer quickly i change topic and concentrate on issues wic will agree, like lookig for money, etc (uni days).sometimes i delibrately reduce the price of d stuff i buy. this a guy that if u disagree with him, he will say u are jealous. i had to accept who he was. we still remain good friends. one might wonder y keep the person as friend? well we had great moments 2geda at least his positive were more than his negative. me no be saint too, i get my own grin grin

bisikeys: This is wierd!!! Why would he lie and how in the world would the lady or her family members not know who he is. Dem no dey watch ballhuh
he lied so that the gal wont demand so much from him, as a car sales that brings expensive gift, he must be hardworking and so she is ready to wait till he propose. being a car sales man was a perfect cover to keep the affair secret or else the lady will tell the world she is dating a footballer.

dont support his action though...

one of big factors that made the song popular was becos some hollywood celebrities who said on a tv show that they love the dance. that drove pple to view wat d dance was. as for me, i press the dislike button. imagine tom cruise or oprah talking about azonto or kukere, tell me if it wont make 200M views.. now that gangnam dance hit the front page. it will get more views. wont be suprise if it gets 1.5 billion views by december 2013.
Politics › Re: Maiduguri Residents Deny Attack On Mini-skirt Ladies by lafuria1(m): 11:02pm On Nov 24, 2012
u dont need to be a genius know the story was fake. ladies were in their homes in the nite and boko haram decided to pick them and kill becos the wore mini-skirt? in the nite while sleeping abi? 20 of them. the christian ladies in d north dont wear mini skirt xcept for special cases, (no insulted intended). vanguard really did a bad job, hope they correct it (i doubt it though).

the fact is boko haram are commiting evil for sure, so any story attach to them will be accepted (but hate it wen islam is draq into it) those evil doers are not muslim, simply becos u procliam a religion doesnt make u one. we all remember the mubi killings in adamawa, the recent kano riots etc God knows am sick and tired of those pple but just helpless like everyone.
