Politics › Re: Why Do We Still Have The Arabic Inscription On Our Higher Currency Notes? by lafuria1(m): 3:11am On Jan 07, 2013
even the arab man will disown wat was written on the note because it is hausa written in arabic formay. on any denominations, it means 100 naira, 200 naira etc. i can write the poster's alias in arabic perfectly,. it just like writing wat a chiness man is saying with english letters.

as for removing it or not, depend on government, it doesnt add value to the naira or reduce the naira value. for me any one done is their problem, at least wen they did that to lower denomination, nothing happen.
Sports › Re: Nigeria’s 50 Greatest Footballers Of All Time By Supersports by lafuria1(m): 2:32pm On Jan 06, 2013
the reality is, if we all are to compile a list of nigeria 10 greatest, we surely going to differ. club performance also a criteria and not just performance with the national team.

Politics › Re: Igbo President Will Refine And Rebrand Nigeria by lafuria1(m): 4:58pm On Jan 05, 2013
OkparaIgbo: To all those saying they are yet to see an Igbo governor rebrand his state first and the charity (Holier than thou) bullshit being spewed here I say STFU.! The North is the most rusty, sandy, ignorant, dirty et.all places yet they have ruled Nigeria for over 40years. The Yoruba's except Lagos have one of the most archaic, dirty, smelling looking regions yet have ruled Nigeria. Even OBJ could not reform the prison he came from not to mention his state Ogun state. And here people are talking of reforming your region as a criteria to lead Nigeria. Hate it or like it, the truth is that except the Igbo's are giving the chance to lead this nation and show what we are made of like we have displayed in so many positive area's around the world; Nigeria will keep moving aimlessly in circle. Of cause obviously we have our Soverign Republic of Biafra which will be of cause the best omen smiley
1.STFU as well, haba, you see thats the problem with you folks, u asked about your region, you didnt answer because u have nothing to say both jumped to talk to another. u guys complain about the north as if u care more than the northers. Are telling me east cant develop because they are yet to occupy the presidecy? what made u guys to vote GEJ 100percent? tell me, yea, becuse he was close to the igbos. what has anyim done since he became sec-gen of the federation? not heard much from him. it is the likes ohakim, orji that will rule naija? u all dont even support rochas for goodness sake.

2. yes north has ruled for more years and achieved basically nothing, the northerners know that more than u do. and other region deserves a chance but that person should have a proven record and not because he comes from the east or west. look at GEJ, no proven record as governor but got voted for presidency and here we are. obviously how can u prove to me that an igbo person becoming the president would develop?

3. u dont want a northern president because they havent developed their region, y should i accept an eastern when he hasnt done any.....i guess akpabio should be the next president since he is obvious person developing his state.
Family › Re: Are Female Children Generous Than Males? by lafuria1(m): 1:45pm On Jan 05, 2013
if both male and female are brought up in the same good environment, the female will still end up being more generous than the male. the females do easily remember lets buy sweet, biscuit or wateva, but the guys will sometimes delibrately forget.
Politics › Re: Kano Earmarks N100m For Mass Wedding by lafuria1(m): 5:06pm On Jan 04, 2013
when you dont understand a society, it becomes easy to misinterpret and misunderstand. this is kano and not bayelsa. what makes sense in kano doesnt have to make sense in other places. the government is intrested in sponsoring marriages of divorces and widows and not newly wed. the number of divorces and widows is high, something has to be done, there are people who want to get married but lack the means to do so. trying to solve this issue may not be best idea but not bad one. there is nothing in this world that people dont exploit illegal.

this is rather a short term plan, and a long term will be providing jobs to make things much better.
Nairaland General › Re: Are You Ready For 2013? Take This Quick Test To Find Out! by lafuria1(m): 6:00pm On Jan 03, 2013
its a bit confusing, how do you pick up ur clothes with out opening the door for the friend, is the running tap over flowing wic could cause flooding of the house, and beside i dont know how rainfall would spoil ones clothes. u can attend to the baby but wont stop crying. u cant hv money without a job.
to answer op question though, u close the tap first (u meaning is wrong) pick up baby (family), open the door (friend), give baby to friend as per family trust go pick up ur clothes, and make the call.

Education › Re: Bizarre Graduation Party In Kogi University by lafuria1(m): 12:16pm On Jan 03, 2013
Yomieluv: What do you expect from a school located in the Northern part of Nigeria, being educated there is seen as a luxury, and a straight ticket to be the Governor of the state. So am not surprised.
so their act is northern exclusive? please dont type wen u are angry, it obvious from ur post.
Politics › Re: Lawyer Writes Sanusi Lamido To Declare His Salary Or Face Legal Action by lafuria1(m): 11:09am On Jan 03, 2013
Joey82: I dont get it, does the freedom of information act require that SLS states his salary by himself?
Dont CBN have any wages/personnel department any more?
Has the lawyer been there and was turned down?
all these jobless lawyers looking for relevance self.
thank you, if he was sincere he should have made an effort before shouting to the press. the lawyer knows what he is doing because most nigerians havent given that a thought, so he wants to use nigerians to put pressure on SLS and SLS salary will be a subject of debate.
Education › Re: Yobe State Has Zero Cut Off Mark For Federal School Entrance by lafuria1(m):
as for the north having lower cut-off, the question is how many still end up going to school. how many northerners attend federal schools in the south from the north? i attended fed sch in the south but that was becos i lived there. we were just 2 notherners among all the southerners that got admission that year. in the six years i spent, number of northern student who attended the fed school were less than five. but u have southerners who still flood the northern fed schs because the schs in the south couldnt admit them all. my point is:

1. the southern students score far better than the northern students and will surely get more admission places, the fact here is 90 perecent of northerners donot go to schs in the south, so the issue of their presence denying other better student admission isnt there. the competition in the south is within you southerners and nothing to do with low cut off for the north unless u are applied to a sch in north wic u are most likely to get.

2. if the same cut off mark in the south is use in the north, only few northern student will go to sch, some of you already said u applied for schs in the south but got admission in the north, does that not inform you that only few northen student still went to sch despite the low cut-off mark there.
3. the education in the north isnt high, we cant apply the same system in the south in the north. scoring above 250 in jamb isnt an issue in the south but really tough to do so in the north..
Politics › Re: Lawyer Writes Sanusi Lamido To Declare His Salary Or Face Legal Action by lafuria1(m): 10:23am On Jan 03, 2013
has the commander-in-cheif decleared his assest yet publicly? dont bother, he doesnt give a damn......

sanusi declares his salary, if he does that wat happened next? use that against him by saying his salary is too high, everybody knows where this is going, the guy is asking for his salary from day one (someone wants to descredit sanusi) grin. am just trying hard to understand why we should know his salary, is anybody here willing to give his bank details.
i dont know if the law says sanusi must declare, but u are going to require alot of people to declare as well, GMD of nnpc, ministers,etc..

FOI, still thinking wats the relevance of the info to nigerians because the fact is CBN governors are paid well and high of course, so he wants to compare senators that work twice a week to a CBN governor that works 5 days a week.

wish him well and to save time, will he should ask soludo to give him a rough estimate of his salary incase sanusi doesnt respond.
Islam › Re: Anti - Muslim Violence Spiraling Out Of Control In America? by lafuria1(m): 10:42pm On Jan 01, 2013
BetaThings: I saw this and I have been wondering why it has not being reported here. You can be sure that if a muslim did this in the antactica, within 3 hours it would have made front page with pages running into double digits.

The woman is a psycho but that should not preclude doing justice. 19 hijackers did that did with no more than a max of 3,000 supporting staff and 1b muslims run the risk of being pushed to the other side by people like this.
u have said all. i have been waiting for the unfortunate india girl gang rape victim to make the the front page but yet it hasnt. i recall a news where a muslim indian village decided to ban women from using cell phones, it made the front page. the news about the woman that pushed a man on the rail track to die is yet to make front page but any so called arab honour killings will make it.

masahallah for all your replies on so many thread, u have been doing great work. elighteninig people who chose not to isnt easy.
And how do you know it is your sister underneath that tent?
In this day of insecurity, nobody should be allowed to be in a public place looking like that
If you cannot show your face stay indoors
I need to be able to correctly ID people around me at all times
People have robbed banks dressed like that FYI
...people are allowed to walk in bikini while others who chose to cover from head to toe are not allowed because YOU dont feel comfortable about it smh. u talk about insecurity, u want us to beleive that most of the people behind d bombings were dressed like that? u just made it up with no fact, at least no one has said one of the gun men were dressed in burqa.
of what benefit is it to you id people? is the tag of suicide bomber written on peoples foreward. she uncovers her face for u too see but has a bomb underneath, what do u do? people donot hide their face in nigeria to commit crime. u simply hate people dressing in burqa which is ok and your opinon because the reality is people will surely create a way of commiting crime.i guess the govt should ban hoodies as well. so quit forming a SSS.
