Soludo's response is classic. You cannot deny empirical facts. Why did NOI review the NBS methodoly of data gathering to suite her purpose. I will suggest a poverty re-evaluation of the Jonathan's era based on the previous data gathering methodoly. This should tell us who is telling the truth and who is deceiving Nigerians. Meanwhile, the attached truly is a snap shot of the realities.

You guys are clowns, so was Buhari's twitter followers that defeated GEJ within a month also doctored.

The 2006 Lagos state population distribution below should answer the question of Igbo voting influence. Not much has changed between then and now. The distribution still very much hold. The Igbos are mostly located in the Amouwo Odofin and Ojo local government ares. At best, their population in this locations will be about 40%. These 2 locations accounts for less than 10% of The total. The swing votes comes from Alimosho, Ajeromi/ Ifelodun, Mushin. The mentioned areas are Yoruba strong holds. This pattern should also explain what to expect from the Presidential elections.

GMB surpasses GEJ on twitter. It's a glimpse of what to expect on Feb 14.
|
Right now, Buhari is about overtaking Jonathan on twitter, he is just 100 people away. if you understand trends, you should know the significance if this. Change is imminent. |
The ravaging CHANGE fire is spreading beyond bounds |
Here is the real deal, this is the best scenario for GEJ, I can bet it's going to be worse than this.
|
Buhari's popularity is booming like wild fire. GEJ has remained stagnant. You can tell the night from the day. |
Buhari is only 1 month old on twitter, he has gannered 85,000 followers, GEJ is 6 years old on twitter, he has 88,000 followers. Who do think is more popular ?

I will advice you to do piggery because it is less tricky and tedious. (Fish farming requires a lot of capital investment, and the learning curve is very steep). You don't have enough money to have your own pen, your best bet is to go to oke-aro pig farm in Agege or gberigbe pig farm at Ikorodu, rent a small space and start your pig farming. You will learn a lot till you have enough resource to go and set up your own farm else where. |
cyprianlah:This is so shameful, the woman declares her money was missing magically, and suddenly she found the money again, what if she was checking the wrong side of her purse. Was the money found on the supposed thief ? No! The poor boy may have been punished for an offense he never committed. This could happen to anyone, and for those castigating the boy even when no evidence was found against him, someday , it may be you and then nobody may believe your defense. What goes around comes around. God will deliver us from our paranoid minds in this country |
In case you didn't see this before: OMAR BANGURA from Sierra Leone has this to tell Nigerians:"I don't think you guys know what you are playing with. You can call each other names and laugh about it now but when you end up inciting hate here as I read through your posts here and a real civil war start in your country you will regret what you are doing now. Your religious and political leaders are trying to divide you between religious lines and you are helping them do that rather than standing up and say we are all Nigerians never mind our tribe, region or religion. That's the only stand that will save your blessed nation. The foreign powers pushing the government to take certain decisions will abandon you when you start killing each other and reject you from running to their countries so be careful. Our 11 years war in Sierra Leone was not even based on religious or tribal difference and see what we did to our country. The worst conflicts are those based on tribal and religious differences. See Central Africa, Bosnia. My heart bleeds when I read what you guys are saying because I know what this will lead to. You will be the losers; all of you whether Christian, Muslim, ibo, yoruba or hausa stand as one and save your nation together because you have only one Nigeria that has the potential to lead Africa. PLEASE HELP SAVE NIGERIA AND SHARE. |

Listening to the president's speech: It's a shame that a sitting president downplays electoral malpractice by hiding behind judiciary when the apparatuses to ensure free election is at his beck and call. What we want to hear is your commitment to a free and fair election. The president defends a position that a politician will fight violently if he knows that he may be committed to jail by an incoming government. Is that enough justification for a politician to fight violently to win an election. Moreover, why should anyone be afraid of jail if his hands are clean. The president's speech is very unpresidential.. He sounds very much like the persecuted one. |
Hello Jasper, please can I have the ChaiThai agent's number, I need to buy more trays for my new plantations. I bought my last set from Ghana, getting it accross was too hectic |
sheikh89:That's the price. The retailer has to add transportation costs and her own mark up. Sometimes, It takes them time to dispose their stock, some of the cucumber will rot |
Teedoe25:Empty head !, what goes around comes around
|
jasper7:To be honest, I didn't. I was frustrated by staff ineptitude. I have since addressed the issues. I currently do fishery and piggery, I will be using the waste water from the fish ponds and the pig manure for the cucumber cultivation. I was on a short training at Songhai too. I saw the marvels. I use DC solar pump to get water on the farm, that addresses my water needs. |
Dear Jasper, I am so proud of what you are doing. You are an inspiration. I will make my contributions too. I was a cucumber grower too in the past. I stopped because of staff challenges. I will be restarting again, this time I will be doing cucumber and water melon. At my first trial, I did Drip irrigation, like you experienced, it was very challenging because staff just won't make it work. I had drip tapes for 5 hectares. Here are pictures of my nursery using cocopeat. What you have on the picture are 5 day old nursery.

To make the matter worse, voter turn out we're highest in PDP's strongholds in 2011. South West had a voter turn of 32% compared to South-south and South-East 67% turn out. If the turn out is higher in 2015( like we was at Osun and Ekiti governorship elections), the margins will widen even further. |
What I have there is a worst case scenario analysis. With amaechi and Oshiomole in South South, PDP can't score 90%. At the North-Central, PDP no longer holds sway, PDP will definitely not perform as much as they did in 2011. As things looks from here, it's going to be an easy win for GMB. |
So here i was playing around with my excel. This was what I came up with as projection for the 2015 elections. The assumptions: 1. I assumed that voting will follow similar pattern as 2011 in other regions except south west, and North east. 2. I assumed that because of the unrest in the North east, voter turn out will drip by 50% 3. I used the number of PVc so far collected to extrapolate. The second projection is on the assumption that voting will take place in the north east normally.

when this certificate uproar is over ( as it will) , I hope you still have more in your bags. Whatever you come up with, change must come anyway. Voice populei, voice dei. The voice of the people is the voice of God. Anyone who stands on the way of this change may be stampeded by the surging crowd. |

Buhari’s certificates with us, says Army JANUARY 4, 2015 BY FIDELIS SORIWEI 103 COMMENTS Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) The authorities of the Nigerian Army have said the service will readily release credentials and certificates in its custody to serving and retired officers in need of them. The Director, Amy Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Olajide Laleye, said in an exclusive interview with our correspondent in Abuja on Wednesday. He said the procedure for the retrieval or collection of the certificates was known to all serving or retired officers of the military. The Army spokesman was reacting to a declaration by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj.Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd), that his credentials were with the military. Our correspondent asked Laleye if it was true that the military was keeping the General’s certificates. Buhari had said in an affidavit he deposed to at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory on November 24, 2014 and received by Independent National Electoral Commission on December 18, 2014, that all his certificates were with the Secretary, Military Board. “I am the above-named person and deponent to this affidavit therein. “All my academic qualifications, documents as filled in my presidential form, President APC/001/2015, are currently with the Secretary, Military Board as of the time of presenting this affidavit. The affidavit is made in good faith and for record purpose,” Buhari stated. But Laleye stated that the Army would not refuse any officer whose certificates were in its custody from getting them if the existing procedure was followed. He said the Army could not have deprived anybody access to his credentials since the credentials did not belong to the service. He said, “Every serving and retired Army officer has at least a copy of his certificates and credentials kept in the Nigerian Army while that same serving and retired officer has copies of those same certificates and credentials. “And there is a laid-down procedure to request for certificates. It is known to any serving and retired officer. “If you want anything checked in your file, you simply follow the due process and it would be given to you because the credentials belong to you.” “The Nigerian Army does not refuse to give anybody his credentials if the due process is followed. Now, take note of this. Not only does the Nigerian Army keep these things, the individual officers, whether serving or retired, have copies.” Copyright PUNCH. All rights reserved. Fasheun s a beneficiary of the corrupt government of GEJ. He, like the other retired militants, got contracts for pipeline protection. What do you expect him to say. He is about to loose his meal ticket. http://www.punchng.com/news/fasehun-and-i-must-share-swest-pipeline-security-contract-equally-gani-adams/ |

weezii:I don't think the world bank is doing enough, they seem to be playing lip service. if malaria was a European or American problem it would have been solved by now. Why should it take forever for the world to deploy anti malaria vaccines. Malaria seems to be one of the many population control tools the west is using against Africa. Why was DDT banned in the 70s despite its effectiveness. There are several variants of DDT today that are not toxic to the environment or to humans yet it's use is not encouraged. The world bank should show us statistically what progress have been made on the Roll back malaria campaign. I can guess that it is not effective, it therefore should be thrown to d bin. Simple solution like DDT or Larvicide use should be put to maximal use. |
