Any Nigerian that has enough finance to travel to Asia, Europe or the Americas - definitely have enough finance to start up some form of business in Nigeria. 1: Prof invented a formula for a "special" paint - who gives a friggin Bleep! He has a right to patent it. I can also invent a special recipe for rotten beans and also get GEJ to sign a patent certificate for it. there is no difference between QIT paint certificate and mine for rotten beans. It only means that nobody can infringe on your patent. it is the OBLIGATION of the signatory to sign it as long as it has been proven to be patentable and not infringing on existing patents.
2: Prof got the patent in 2005 and attempted to use it for an infringement in that supposedly occurred in the late as far back as the 90s - This is where he failed completely. The courts declared it statute barred. You cannot claim infringement when a patent did not exist at that point in time.
3: The courts agreed with the patent certificate and its protective rights, however it charged commandclem to prove that the infringement continued after 2005 when the patent was signed and this simple instruction CommandClem has not being able to prove till date.
3: What they do is hide the 2 facts above from Patentees and continue to flash the patent certificate without telling them that it is not valid for the claim they are charging Mobil with.

This is how you have been able to deceive thousands all this while. I have also forwarded this thread to the IO in charge of the case (as if they need to be convinced further)

I am a Winner, but this case is a failure of the crowd control unit of the church. Clearly, and there is no defence for it. But I would like us to see what can be done to help this child instead of engaging in all the name calling that has taken 4 pages and so much bandwidth of the Nairaland hosting account.

Where can we go from here? My worry is that one year is such a long time.

1: The Church continues to demonstrate immense insensitivity by trying to keep this under-wraps. 1 week, 2 weeks even 1 month looks criminal from any stand-point. 1year is absolutely indefensible - someone must be made an example of. unfortunately it all lies in the hands of the missing child's parents.

stagger: As a member of the Winners family, I must say that the system of identification of children by parents needs to be enhanced to avoid such occurrences, because of the sheer number of people that attend the church. It can be a logistic nightmare. Just issuing tags is obviously not enough.

Can the FG use its present "Commercial" Satellites to track Boko-Haram effectively? I have little concerns on the sophistication and price and profitability - too many lives (not counting future unborn generations of Nigerians) have been lost to MEND, BOKO-HARAM in recent years and the trend continues unabated. any use of technology is welcomed. My question is this? Can the FG do it as claimed or is this just another knee-jerk statement with no validity behind it.

I understand the present challenge is that the Manufacturers of both Satellites are in the UK (Surrey) and Nigeria will need to pass instructions to Surrey or re-positioning coverage and vision to target areas. there is a time lag coupled with the fact that information assurance and security has now passed through foreign hands before reaching us (before Boko-Haram see it on BBC or Wiki-leaks before our Security Agencies do)

How much of Security information is deemed Classified considering the Safety of Nigerians - If these images are available to FG at least they can make moves to reinforce at suspected locations or at least warn the innocent citizens who voted and will vote in 2015

The Security challenges in Nigeria are daunting but it is not a new thing. what is critical at this stage is aggressive Intelligence gathering. The longer-term (political) solution is a Top2Bottom Reform Program that will prevent touts the likes of Alao-Akala and Tafa Balogun from going in or coming out of the present comatose Police System.

Till-date all we know of Boko-Haram are the aftermath of Bombings and Massacres. Our Police Intelligence who are much closer to the grassroots than Military and SSS do not have intelligent information on how to do our own part in "Safeguarding the Nation"
