Christianity EtcRe: Arming The Faithful Against Logic by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 3:03pm On Jun 18, 2012
MyJoe: Lol. I guess I'm patient by nature.

I'm good. Thanks. Dealing with some critical challenges. But things are under control.
Sure you don't need a pinch of prayer on it too - what harm could it possibly do eh grin
Christianity EtcRe: Arming The Faithful Against Logic by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 2:35pm On Jun 18, 2012
Why all this Church-bashing. haba, ba ku de hankali, walahi. angry If the Faithful are being armed against logic, it does not mean that the Faith is illogical (even irrational can be argued pointedly - with a bold face i might add). I believe going to Churches, what ever the blend serves a much higher purpose than ridicule or criticism the likes we are too quick to dish out. grin grin grin grin i could not keep up the bold face any longer

I think for once we should all discard our political, social and religious daggers and consider the fact that at this point it could happen anywhere in Nigeria.
GEJ can only do what GEJ can only do. and it is not enough. we all need to begin to accept the FACT that We are on our own on this one. remain vigilant and start growing a spine when 2015 comes around

RomanceRe: Why Did Some Men Hate Their Wife, after Given Birth To Two Or More Children? by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 9:45pm On Jun 17, 2012
I think for women - Marriage+Kids is the end of their life's ambitions and when they hit that spot. they tend to relax and get fat and lazy. but that is just a false generalization now is that not? The common mistake people make in life is to think that LOVE is everlasting and it will continue to grow with the passage of time. grin grin grin grin grin welcome to the real world. people tire of each other when they are together 24/7/365. remember the adage - absence makes the heart grow fonder? It is all about understanding that there is no magic to marriage and you (both) have to work together to spark new life when the fire is dying
PoliticsRe: Why Can't A Revolution Work In Nigeria? by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 9:12pm On Jun 17, 2012
PointB: Another of those topics yet again.

@Op
What kind of revolution?
Military coup? It won't succeed in the SS/SE, unless you are ready for civil war and secession!

Mass Riot? Demonstration?
Well that could happen in SW,NW, NE. Those in the NC, SS, and SE are not as disenchanted as the former group of Zones.

Militancy?
Boko Haram is currently doing that, and you are welcome to join them. The ND have given up that, at least majority?

Ballot Box?
Well 2015, is the next election, and we are willing to wait! Any back door removal of the president will be frontally resisted!

Beaf has said it severally, hold your councillor, chairman, reps, senators, and governor to account!

Revolution is for the ideal situation, Nigeria is not ripe for revolution!
A Revolution can sneak up on you when you least expect. you are stating the obvious end-result of social disaffection with an unpopular government. It can be a movement, that is gradual, it can be a sponsored initiative by foreign governments, it can even be an insider-job. The military already has its own internal friction and so are other armed forces.

Hold you Councillor accountable grin grin grin @BEAF is right but you seem to be oblivious of present-day realities, the constitution and indeed Justice is hardly in public confidence anymore - Nigeria is over-ripe for a revolution. be it in the mind or in the physical and as many politicians choose to blissfully ignore the signs. it will happen
CrimeRe: Children Church Bombed By Boko Hara,m!!! by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 8:30pm On Jun 17, 2012
An unfortunate but predictable, inevitable and sadly recyclable incident. it won't be the last and it get's gruesome each time.
There is the much ignored and less-considered solution as this is not the first Islamic phenomena the world has witnessed. and pray-tell where are those non-violent muslims who make up 90% of the Islam Section huh

PoliticsRe: Why Can't A Revolution Work In Nigeria? by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 5:11pm On Jun 17, 2012
A Revolution (Bloody or Bloodless) can work with deadly efficiency in NIGERIA. going by the past decade, it is obvious that the very threads that holds the sanity of this country is bare-thin and with just the right plan and the right funding, anyone with a little over N2 billion can upend this country in revolution. the past 10 years is just part of a case study in National In-security, Religious and Social Friction and most importantly, Economic incentive (FOR A Revolution)

But let us not discuss that here - Nairaland is obviously not the right platform grin grin

Christianity EtcRe: What Is The Logical Way To Prove That God Exists? by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 7:59pm On Jun 15, 2012
@Benodic...I like this part - "God is not a Lab Rat that you can dissect" grin no one says he is - just that at least if your (GOD) overwhelming influence can be seen beyond the known universe, how come you can't even lend some credence as to it being yours in the first place. The ever so permeating Universal Consciousness that is "Everything" eerily happens to unreachable to Man since the dawn of time (if there ever was such a phenomena). I agree, given the individualistic experience of this Universal Consciousness, one cannot completely explain it to others - it is a personal experience devoid of any scientific venture, ranking high in the realms of other deistic religious themes(pardon the inference from religion)

Car TalkRe: Nairalanders: How Do You React When Your Car Is Hit? by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 1:11pm On Jun 15, 2012
naylove: Driving towards Oregun one Saturday afternoon.after making a turn by Daystar church. One black G class mercedes benz abruptly matched its brakes upon spotting their intended destination which am guessing they didnt know before.i was able to slow down considerably without touching the car but suddenly i heard Gboolaaaga. han han what happen. one foolish bus that must have been speeding from the ojota axis towards Oregun rammed into me from behind and screeching me all the way to hit the G class benz.

Instanta, MY BONNET popped open, the a/c stopped working, the engine was making a funny croaky sound. I had to turn off the engine. Before doing all of these,i was first dazed for about 30 seconds. when i composed myself , i got down from the car and ordered the bus that hit me from behind to park. while i fully assessed the damage done to my car. After this guy parked his bus, I went to meet the man driving the G-class(one clean elderly man). Just as I was talking to the man, I was one Lastma official approach the bus that hit me from behind and immediately ordered that bus driver to go as his bus was not damaged in anyway, when i realised this i ran after the bus but the sharp driver don run go ( coz i for use him no blow whistle that day. So I was left with the G class man. I speak oyinbo tire that day. For once I appreciated the fact that I could speak english which i use abuse the man no be small but in an indirect way. Long story short , the man accuse me sa na my fault and i say na him fault. Anyway I sha no let am go the party wey him wan attend. I delayed him for close to 2 hours on the ground that he must fix my car as it was his action that led to the bashing from behind by the foolish bus driver.( the lastma guy don return to dey control traffic but i did get back to the guy later on) The man also insisted that I fix his car also since I was the one who bashed him from the rear. I quote law die even if I no be lawyer. I refused his proposition outrightly. After realizing we were getting no where. I called off my schedule and promised that this man must repair my car. we looked for a mechanic who said he'll fix the car for 8,000 naira. but on looking at the damages, i knew it would take like 5 times that amount to fix the car. this story is boring even me. long and short of the matter, the yeye G class man eventually offered to pay 5 grand after i vexed and told him to go free that he go see repercussion of his action. i collected his 5k and left him alone. I called my mechanic who came and somehow sha drove the car away. i sort one of the guys that helped me with 1k . in fact ended up spending about 60 grand to fix the car.
I just wish people would be considerate of other road users. now whe i drive i dont move too close to the vehicle in my from just in case of another incasity.
as for the lastma guy, he was a most unreasonable man to the core. even the police man working with him try tell am say him no suppose even tell any of the parties to go. mean while me dey try look the name on his shirt to see if i could report him, I saw his names as Ogunronbi M. the idiotic man use use him mouth tell me say na Micheal the M stand for..I vex no be small that day. and i swear say if i catch any lastma guy tell me nonsense as long as i no break the traffic law in any way. him go hear am.
WTF!! you too.

miteolu: http://www.sodahead.com/united-states/obamacare-makes-rfid-chips-mandatory-march-23-2013/question-2470359/

US Senate has passed the 'Obama Health Care' bill into law & the implementation would commence on 23/03/2013.

This bill would require all Americans to be implanted with a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chip in order to access medical care.

The device will be implanted on the forehead or on the arm.

This is to fulfill the prophesy in the Book of Revelation 13:15-18 concerning the

MARK OF THE BEAST! Are you still in doubt concerning the ENDTIME?

GET READY!

JESUS IS ABOUT 2 COME THE SECOND TIME!

Be prepared so you are not caught unawares.
and guess which country loves comparing themselves to the USA... yes. NIGERIA. I am sure Papa Jona will pass this into law within weeks grin
