MyJoe: Lol. I guess I'm patient by nature.Sure you don't need a pinch of prayer on it too - what harm could it possibly do eh ![]() |
Why all this Church-bashing. haba, ba ku de hankali, walahi. If the Faithful are being armed against logic, it does not mean that the Faith is illogical (even irrational can be argued pointedly - with a bold face i might add). I believe going to Churches, what ever the blend serves a much higher purpose than ridicule or criticism the likes we are too quick to dish out. i could not keep up the bold face any longer |
@BEAF should write a autobio of his life and times on nairaland going by his large fanbase ![]() |
I think for once we should all discard our political, social and religious daggers and consider the fact that at this point it could happen anywhere in Nigeria. GEJ can only do what GEJ can only do. and it is not enough. we all need to begin to accept the FACT that We are on our own on this one. remain vigilant and start growing a spine when 2015 comes around |
werepeLeri: super ignored. havent you noticed, u are one of those that i ignore like a tout on NL. like you just did you my friend are a priceless comedian |
I think for women - Marriage+Kids is the end of their life's ambitions and when they hit that spot. they tend to relax and get fat and lazy. but that is just a false generalization now is that not? The common mistake people make in life is to think that LOVE is everlasting and it will continue to grow with the passage of time. welcome to the real world. people tire of each other when they are together 24/7/365. remember the adage - absence makes the heart grow fonder? It is all about understanding that there is no magic to marriage and you (both) have to work together to spark new life when the fire is dying |
PointB: Another of those topics yet again.A Revolution can sneak up on you when you least expect. you are stating the obvious end-result of social disaffection with an unpopular government. It can be a movement, that is gradual, it can be a sponsored initiative by foreign governments, it can even be an insider-job. The military already has its own internal friction and so are other armed forces. Hold you Councillor accountable @BEAF is right but you seem to be oblivious of present-day realities, the constitution and indeed Justice is hardly in public confidence anymore - Nigeria is over-ripe for a revolution. be it in the mind or in the physical and as many politicians choose to blissfully ignore the signs. it will happen |
An unfortunate but predictable, inevitable and sadly recyclable incident. it won't be the last and it get's gruesome each time. There is the much ignored and less-considered solution as this is not the first Islamic phenomena the world has witnessed. and pray-tell where are those non-violent muslims who make up 90% of the Islam Section ![]() |
Seriously -- possibly a Christian instigating or inciting other Christians to takeup arms and retaliate ? suspicious but anything can happen in Nigeria, just take a wild guess |
Salmoneus: Fool!! the man is dead.Seems to be a very handy word in your very limited vocabulary - f'course he is dead why do you think my reference is in the past tense you dense excuse for a se.men |
I think Papa Charly has outgrown the limits of social popularity and needs to really up his game to remain relevant. I want to suggest that he applies to be chief Spokesman for BOKO-HARAM ![]() |
omicron:ignore him he's a foul dyke like that |
This Man is a Legend in my book, he gave rise to the term "Man!!! Barca FC did a Rodney King on Chelsea" RIP |
A Revolution (Bloody or Bloodless) can work with deadly efficiency in NIGERIA. going by the past decade, it is obvious that the very threads that holds the sanity of this country is bare-thin and with just the right plan and the right funding, anyone with a little over N2 billion can upend this country in revolution. the past 10 years is just part of a case study in National In-security, Religious and Social Friction and most importantly, Economic incentive (FOR A Revolution) But let us not discuss that here - Nairaland is obviously not the right platform ![]() |
ohh my.. do we have sooo many Arm-Chair Politicians on this thread ![]() |
@Benodic...I like this part - "God is not a Lab Rat that you can dissect" no one says he is - just that at least if your (GOD) overwhelming influence can be seen beyond the known universe, how come you can't even lend some credence as to it being yours in the first place. The ever so permeating Universal Consciousness that is "Everything" eerily happens to unreachable to Man since the dawn of time (if there ever was such a phenomena). I agree, given the individualistic experience of this Universal Consciousness, one cannot completely explain it to others - it is a personal experience devoid of any scientific venture, ranking high in the realms of other deistic religious themes(pardon the inference from religion) |
... let the games begin |
nice one. my age is not your friend now is she ![]() |
OTEDOLA why have you exposed Lawan in a shameful manner -SHAME SHAME SHAME to you. haba. why do you breach the hallowed virtues of Bribe-giving that has been set since the days of MKO and ITT. no one has ever done this until your time. you must be penalized for giving bribes with intent to expose. you SHAMEFUL Bribe-giver You are a bad example to other Bribe-givers out there ![]() |
BBDelta: The Time is Exactly, 4:25pm Now, To show you have despirate Nigerians are to feed their eyes... Let's Check out the numbers of views this will have after each hour.......Video ko, Video Ni.. Hei I already have all my PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT On so, just forget the insults, it will do you no Good.It would have amounted to breach of security - SEUN would be arrested and you will be tracked down and grilled by the SSS and the NPF because only these agencies have access to the video.not even GEJ has seen it with his fisherman eyes |
naylove: Driving towards Oregun one Saturday afternoon.after making a turn by Daystar church. One black G class mercedes benz abruptly matched its brakes upon spotting their intended destination which am guessing they didnt know before.i was able to slow down considerably without touching the car but suddenly i heard Gboolaaaga. han han what happen. one foolish bus that must have been speeding from the ojota axis towards Oregun rammed into me from behind and screeching me all the way to hit the G class benz.WTF!! you too. |

I hereby confess that even in my deepest depths of drunkenness, I have never be soo deeply touched by the Universal Consciousness of the Sacred Coconut. Since my first encounter, I have been having vivid visions of Peace and Contentment. I have decided to discard my atheist ways to devote my life to this Sacred Coconut. I advise fellow Atheists to do the same |
it is highly probable that poorly couched questions will elicit starkly crude answers ![]() |
