GazzzBi so dis ting na fraud.. Kai!!! ad Friday is just around the corner ![]() ![]() |
So much distraction with abusive posters who cannot make a point without supporting it with a derogatory remark, na waooo propaganda has reached a new high on Nairaland. Make a point, state the FACTS and consider the other posters position - there might be some sense in it that you can take home. Na lie, we all need to support our half-baked points with contrived abusive language to make it stand ![]() |
Hello again - I must repeat that Dealers online and offline are the ones at risk of losing business when such things like this happens. Instead of trying to salvage their PR and improve on the confidence of buyers - I see dealers trying very hard to discount the matter. I am not in the business of dealing cars but i expect that it is a professional enterprise and anyone involved will know and employ absolutely every Legal means of selling a car at a fair price considering the condition the car is in. I remember 7 years back car dealers were crying their eyes out because comfortable bank loans allowed Nigerians to purchase Brand New Cars and dealers where forced by Law to bring in cars no older than 10 years. now the ban has been lifted, they are back to their dubious ways ![]() Every-time you get to read of unfortunate incidents like this, it tars the image of other honest and professional dealers on Nairaland as well. I know a couple of friends who swear that Nairaland is only good for getting price and other hard-to-find info. the final purchase they will have to do themselves. I have successfully purchased 2 cars from Nairaland and I also based my decision on TRUST, I never inspected any car longer than 30 minutes before making up my mind and making payment. However stories like mine will not be remembered if things like this keep happening. BAD NEWS SPREADS FASTER THAN GOOD NEWS. soon the new mantra will be AVOID NAIRALAND CAR DEALERS - guys wake up before you end up being losers. |

honeric01: Build it, after getting paid, attack it with virus.419ners are dangerous people and will go through lengths to deal with you - avoid them every-way you can. i once hacked into a website developer's yahoo account (had a very weak password - surname1234) and took over all the domains he registered to Scammers and re-pointed them to EFCC's website, then changed his password and security question and alternate email. you should have seen the threatening emails that came pouring into his mailbox a few hours after the changes were done. I really pitied the guy and advised him to give it up and besides i am in US with the FBI ![]() Seriously, avoid scammers, hundreds troll the Business Section daily |
soloqy: So what now? You want to build a scam site knowing that they will be using it to defraud people?what is it all about - I have been confused lately.. ![]() |
I created a BIGBANGUniverse this morning courtesy of heavily petered garlic rice/groundnut soup I had for supper last night i would have been able to prove your theories on PST but.. sadly i had to flush, I am unable to replicate the experience |
Oil Bunker is rampant and apparently the Navy and Army whose duty it is to protect our waters and criminals from stealing this nation's wealth stand-by (they are involved). DSP Alams is actually an Adviser to Jonathan (perhaps corruption matters - who knows). We should go on and legalize BOko-Haram Bombings since we cannot do anything about it anyway ![]() |
Ahhhh Double D (DD) no problem, there will be others after you but there will be none like you - Ever. |China is good seeing that they are nowhere near 5 ft and you can out-muscle the largest defender in the Chinese League you will break records in China than in the EPL |
It is particularly sad that nearly everyone on this thread has discounted the very essence of Salesmanship - TRUST , rather we have focused on blaming Alhaji for not inspecting a car before buying it. I suspect that a lot of posters on this thread are actually car dealers and cannot bring themselves to the point of beign a buyer. It is a pathetic excuse we are all making for damola and it is a sad development for Nairaland Autos. If you all think that this issue will rest with this thread - you are dead wrong, a lot of viewers have made the realization that they cannot TRUST every Auto-sales Post they read on Nairaland. It is even more sad that many have actually gone to inspect the so-called CLEAN, MINT, PERFECT, CHILLING cars - have been disappointed. I know one Highlander in Festac on Nairaland that is similar to what Alhaji bought. The pictures posted are different from the actual car and it had more than superficial problems. The real owner could not be found after they pressured me to sign a cheque for the full amount to a 3rd party. This poster is still very much on Nairaland and one Nairalander will buy this car and be in a similar situation. I wonder why we cannot bring ourselves to accept the plain fact that this Damola character is not Trustworthy, rather we blame a man who Trusted him well enough to pay him N2million for trash. Na waooo. |
Broda, e dey for Onitsha o! They opened a 100 million dollar factory there. So you can imagine how pisssed off I was when I was almost tasting the beer in my mouth from reading the thread only for these tribalists to come ruin the groove for me
I was starting to tire of Naija beer sef - apart from Gulder and Guiness, it is a good thing, more jobs, more education scholarships, more clear-thinking, more everything good. it is a wonder Boko-Haram have not bombed KD brewery - Who nor like beta thing ![]() |
jason123: Even though I am a Southerner and I deeply want a Southern Nigeria to emerge, I still smell the stinking hypocrisy among the so called Southerners!!! Bunch of hypocrites! Shameful lot!Guess who becomes the Yoruba Democratic Ruler/President in a South/West Nigeria |
For starters even, why did you delete my post on the SABMiller thread, when I was neither attacking anyone nor quoting any attacks from anyone? Oh, and HOW am I supposed to post evidence of deleted comments, when they HAVE been deleted? Are you high?
OMG where is SABMiller in Naija |
Beaf: You are a lousy fool born in the gutter to lousy fools.I am flattered by your reply honestly a whole Beaf can't take small yabs ![]() |
I think this is an FG ploy (hatched by @Beaf) to confuse BOKO-HARAM and the angry SE citizens obviously this guy does not have a clue and is not a Muslim zealot either.. anyway let us see as this pans out, BH will be out to rescue him soon enough ![]() |
opokonwa: Is that all there is to watch?; tortoise, birds, butterfly and monkey? You should go there, was there in 2003 and it was an experience, there was a large snake though, few animals and lots of "local" birds if you are into bird watching |
The driving (off the record ) reason for atheism is that Religious folks especially Christians (who must attain blissful ignorance failing, profit from this venture) and Muslim (who must satisfy their innate urge for fatal violence or abject hypocrisy) have deemed it fit to denigrate GOD (before the whole world) by turning his Eternal perfection into a misfit of infantile emotional immaturity and chronic masochism. An Intelligent Designer reduced to a bumbling magician with old parlor tricks that even a dumb kid in secondary school can see through. Imagine the pressure such realization can drive one into -- You must pity Atheists for the trauma they are exposed to on a daily basis |
@Supporters of Winners,May you never experience the loss of a child of yours, especially in circumstances like the couple who are only human - do you understand the emotional trauma this couple is going through without getting closure for over 1 year and someone is saying the twin will grow and will be discovered someday. That is the most wicked suggestion by a fellow human. Let me guess, God's hand is too short to answer the couple's prayers abi - what is the excuse - who knows if the child has already been used for occult rituals or sold-off to another family in another country, instead of addressing the security issue, Winners supporters are making weak excuses. Hope, Faith and Resignation instead of ACTION these are some of situations I develop morbid feelings against Christians |
The Air is cleared and I think important lessons have been learned by the audience and the parties involved. I commend the OP for bring this up and the seller for being dignified enough to respectfully come online and make a defense. Not many Nigerians will do that, once the sale is done and cash as exchanged hands, you are on your own (OYO). there is no refund at all. let us all close this issue some bottles of Star Lager Beer - afterall it is FRIDAY!!! ![]() |
Biafra4tharmy: Biafra remains a viable alternative in this quest for black Jewish nationhoodHmm I have read Research on the lost Black Jews in the East.. will it materialize, parallel stories and events between Israel and Biafra |
jmaine: Okay, we don hear you Info Minister . . .Hope you also extend this "Patronize Nigerian Products" . .by exchanging at least 80 % of the president fleet of cars with indigenous products . .e.g Innoson Vehicles . . .Not to mention bringing back his kids to Nigeria to encourage an improved Education Sector ![]() |
I think it would be wise to develop Financial product around "Scriptural Derivatives" and hedge-style Instruments. This allows you to have interests in highly performing Religious Institutions and even mix a little flavor of Islam to derive the best bang for the buck. Imagine having Christ Embassy, RCCG, Synagogue, Winners and HOTR at their best-performing seasons without having to off-load on the open-market. You can even re-classify, convert some stocks into equity (but not Christ Embassy Stocks ooooh) ![]() |
lari03: In the words of Bob Marley: You can fool some people sometimes, but you cant fool everyone all the time.Quaint but paradoxical - You can actually fool all the people all the time, especially if they are blissfully ignorant like many Nigerians, they know the truth but who cares .. Naija 4 u |
yemmight: So you think the Governor will think the way you think by naming the killers? Chai I even wonder if some people dey think self.So he should cover it up like his fellow PDP brethren - anyway that is the way Politics works in Nigeria - Violence, Lies, Money, Propaganda and lack of Political Will and Conviction |
trigar12: AMATEUR, u want to accuse someone without PROOFBut Oshiomole says he has evidence and names - wetin him dey wait for ![]() |
Adams - you are falling my shoulder badly - you massed against OBJ and rallied the forces of Labor to our side when the nefarious and dubious held us ransom - Oshiomole AKA Fearless Crocodile You claim to know the God-fathers who killed your PA but you cannot name them, you claim to know the God-fathers who want to snatch teh Governorship from your kokoro eyes but you cannot name them - is that old fart Anenih so hard to pronounce ![]() |
Whether anyone admits it or not - the seller sold a bad car and got a good price - there is no steal if the car was bound to have problems sooner than later. This is what happens pretty much in FESTAC (especially FESTAC) you get a surprisingly good price for a seemingly good car (It is called a Setup Car) you pay for it and quickly run home only to have it back for major repairs 3 weeks later A lot of crooked (pretending to be honest and never admitting that they had planned this Setup sale all along) Car dealers abound on Nairaland. very few exceptional ones who are honest - just a sad affair really. Trust is not a virtue anymoreThe only way it can be settled since the seller claims the car was in perfect condition (but later admitted that several fixes needed to be done after collecting payment). He has basically misinformed the buyer. Which many posters refuse to admit. He should pay the full amount no matter what the condition the car is in. what if due to the so called unmentioned perfect conditions caused a fatal accident, it would have been another matter now. we won't be side-stepping the dishonesty factor like we are all doing here |
TB Joshua is fake!! I was healed of Alcoholism only to revert to womanizing 3 days later.. what a poor SOAB!! it costs more to womanize!!! ![]() |
