Who and what made them better climes and where do you get the resources and talents you laundered from? Those who fought for Independence and made Western Nigeria better than where you are running to were younger than you and were members of Nigeria Youths Movements. Which people are you talking about? The ones that blessed you with religious opium by crusade and jihad or may be the ones that preached democracy to you but turned to blood suckers and flesh eaters when they lost free and fair elections? A beg park make Ai pass jor! LutanFyah: |
Nigerians that are notorious as Africans were until recently, the pride and leaders of Africa. Until entitled children started going around Africa resting on the laurels of their fathers' contributions as if they are the children of Nkrumah that invested comparatively more (by size and income of his country). Search your conscience and ask why ABOMINATION is now celebrated in Nigeria. Surprisingly, most Nigerians that do not live in big cities are still decent. It is those few that could not be tolerated in their villages that swear they are coming back to that village as bragados. |
I hear you bro. Every Nigerian wants security and peace of mind. Most Nigerians and foreigners enjoyed that even in the North especially Jos, once upon a time. Any degree was a passport to peace and security especially if you are from the North. Fast forward, you make a good point. But please admit that Southerners are going through hell, not only because of lack of security. They are going through the worst economic upheaval of our time. How many Northerners would risk desert and sea to cross over to Europe through Libya? As for the Op, any crumbs in Germany as a third class immigrant is paradise compared to Nigeria. At some point, eye go open. Crumbs with indignity become a curse. ojonugway: |
Only someone from rabies infested RatHole village would rejoice at this. |
Nigerians are known to be willing to do just about anything for money. We grew up with some decency that make us recoiled at Abomination. Can anyone think of Abomination that is not celebrated today? |
The only problem here is lack of opportunities at home or in your town. I cannot imagine an educated Northerner glowing over a foreign country like this if there are better opportunities at home or in his village. People should be candid, you leave wherever place you call your village or shiitholes for lack of opportunities, not because you want to go and develop Germany. |
Regardless of which ethnic group commit crimes disproportionately outside, all Nigerians are smeared. The point here is to condemn them no matter where they come from. It is an abomination to defend criminals or even celebrate them while Youths that played by the rules wallow in poverty. Shame nor dey catch some vanity worshippers. Always looking for companies in crimes. |
Marry who? Celebration don start be that with big drums and trumpets on social media for marrying a rejected slob from her family. Agbo2: |
Good for her. Sensible decision. Ladies must always have something to fall back on. The same advice for old men. When those kids become men and women, they only appreciate their mothers. Chioma, go girl! |
They all claim to be business men and always have front office to justify it. You may be right about the combination of Obi Cubana/Hushppopi ticket for President. Nigerians love and worship money no matter how they made it. Have you ever wondered why Activists are ridiculed and debased in Nigeria while men and women of shady characters make it forcing a choice between evils Staphylococcus: |
If Obi Cubana had to pay publicists and PROs for such name recognition, he would have had to pay much more money. Now he can join any party and run for President. Don't forget, Nigerians do not vote for Activists only money talks. |
Wow, I am sorry if that landed the wrong way. It was never meant as an insult, especially to a lady. I would have expected that at 47, you would have experienced nasty flood at Mushin at least not to mention other areas. I do respect other people's views but facts are facts, not views. You can hardly find a safe place in Lagos when it comes to flood. If you live in Lagos most of your life, you should not have missed that. Most of Lagos is under sea level but I will not exchange it for anywhere. Against, I am sorry if you find that fact as insult. Do o! ajebuter: |
Reno, they are coming after you no matter how you and your Oga Jonathan licked their ass. Remember now, only one ethnic group has majority of them condemning their own for 419, rituals, dug mules, looting and money laundering. Others defend and praise their own, no matter what. |
Age abi na exposure dey worry you. Mushin, Bariga, Palm Grove have also flooded at one time or the other. Ask older folks. ajebuter: |
You should reserve the worst shame for those who made it possible and paved the way for Buhari to return. After all, Nigerians fought, protested and sued to make Jonathan Acting President. And rightly so. As the most promising and most educated candidate for President, even the North voted for him not to mention massive votes from the South. What did he do with all the goodwill? He squandered it and called his benefactor a motor car tout. Even worse, those smarter than him hijacked his cabinet. They did not turn Nigeria to Eldorado, they stole it blind. Sadly, he left his Niger Delta worse than he met it. What a disappointment for the HOPE of Africa! fenibak: |
I have been hearing about a few countries building nuclear power stations in Nigeria for ages. From Canada, Russia to India. All fell apart like Ajaokuta or what? Engineering graduates please educate us. Russia to build nuclear power plants in Nigeria 31 October 2017 A man takes part in a protest against rising electricity prices in Lagos in 2016 Russia has signed a deal to build two nuclear power plants in Nigeria, as Africa's largest economy seeks to end its energy crisis. Russian state-owned company Rosatom will build one in the south, the other in the centre, sources at the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission told the BBC. The deal's exact worth is unknown, although some reports suggest it is likely in the region of $20bn (£15bn). It is one of a number that Rosatom has been eyeing on the continent. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-41818933 |
I think we should teach history and even more recent history of Nigeria. These children trying to beat their chest for frivolous jobs outside their villages need to go back and study the accomplishment of Nigerians, mainly from the South around the world in general and Africa in particular. Nigerians were lauded for their professionalism and management so much that other African countries sought their skills. Young man please do some research and find out about Igbo in Nigeria and around the world. You will be proud. Stop usurping what you cannot achieve at home in other people's back. I am challenging Yoruba and Igbo Youths to create another Western Nigeria! thebosstrevor1: |
Sir, you sound like a Frenchman that went to Quebec Canada and told someone that was or is not how to speak French or an Englishman that told an American that is not how to speak English! Yeah, you guess where each of them were told to go. I do get your point though. My beef with you is that: language perfection is good but not equal to intelligence. Arguendo, so since we use English tech and clothes, we should lie down and suck up more of it or just lie down and die for them? BTW, tech does not belong to a culture. It is stolen by one eg Americans from Europeans. When Americans accused the Japanese of stealing tech, they forgot they stole it too. The Chinese also stole. Well, guess what? The British stole it from Africans! Dozis: |
Those painted as offerings to the gods in their villages must break lose and fight for their destiny as your forefathers did against the chiefs that sold them, on slave ships, in Europe and American sugarcane plantations. Three different powers could not subdue Afghanistan after almost a century. |
Chai, see me see trouble o! What have you done with your Queen's or perfect English to lift Africa up? Many Chinese and other none English speaking countries got Nobel Prize in Arts and Sciences in their languages. Here we are, an African man searching for O level in English. I bet you cannot even master your native language. Shame nor dey catch una. Dozis: |
How else and how many times are you going to be told bullies love to chase those who run but fear those that stand up and fight back. Fulani have never built anything, they use builders of cities to capture their leaders. Hausa is in their pocket, Middle slipping out. Are Yoruba and Igbo ready to stand their ground? |
Go and ask Chinese graduate or post graduate students in European and American universities. I tell ya, Africans have been conditioned to mental slavery. Dozis: |
Let me confess that I did not read every page. When I started reading the first page, I was scared to death! I could not believe that there are Physics graduates willing to ridicule a course that takes mighty brains to study. I still remember that Maths Maths Physics with pride. Thank Goodness, others came to the rescue. There is a lesson here, whatever you have, if you do not know how to use it, everything is useless. This is not about Physics alone, the mother of biology and chemistry. It is about the talents we have in Nigeria and our inability to use our natural resources. Thank you guys. |
No Grazing Land No Peace - Fulani Six Independent Regions - Southern Governors Fulani v. The Rest of Nigeria Surrender Your Land Or Your Lives - Fulani Stop Killing One North Hausa/Fulani - Buhari Negotiator For Boko Haram What is the definition of Civil War? |
Surprise shall never end. How many white slaves have you dragged in chains from Europe and America to work in the fields in Nigeria? Even in the days Black North Africans captured Europeans, whites have since turned the table. I tell ya, some Africans that need brain surgery will vote for or import White President. They are doing it already in business. How has it benefited Africans? Actually, some Nigerians that were rejected by their white in-laws are celebrating white daughters that have been disowned. This inferiority complex is deep man! |
We all learn everyday. The more you know, the more you realize how much more there is to know or how little you know. I have always thought the worst days in Nigeria were those of 0-0-1, 1-0-0 or 0-1-0. We used to say, nobody starved in Nigeria except in the cities. It was the reason people were encourage to go back to villages because there was plenty to eat, though variety may be missing. One of the reasons we cry in Nigeria today is because nobody starved then. One of the jokes that was not funny was when a lady confessed she put more pepper in the food so that the kids bele go full well well. Yes, 80s was bad especially to those that know earlier years. But most people would say 80s was better than the 90s just as some people would say 90s was better than 20s. Rice was never our stable food, it used to be eaten once or twice a week and others only eat it once or at parties. But this picture brings tears. I could never believe it happened in Nigeria! |
A copy-copy people or country will always carry others junks with pride. NAIJAilliterate: |
Whoever gave these Muslim and Christian religious Opium to naive Africans will never make heaven! |
