Science/TechnologyRe: ‘Next-Generation’ Wearable Tech Turns Your Body Heat Into Electricity (Photos) by laiza(m): 7:53pm On Mar 03, 2021
aycorporat:
Science is actually evolving by the day.

But in the eventuality that it's true what then happens to the body cells?
Absolutely nothing!!! Every cell has a mitochondrial and it is the power house of the cell which helps the human body maintains it's unique temperature of 37°C and at the expiration of its term a new one replaces the old cell.

Look at it as your body uses the temperature to straighten a wrinkled clothe it will the same temperature to charge a battery.

Science is the new religion.

I never knew lions still existed in Nigeria shocked
Of course lion still exist in Nigeria, they are just far in the wilderness and these recent killings from both Boko Haram and Nigerian soldiers that are not claimed or buried, the lions will seek them out and feed on them. Lions have ten times better vision than humans and 21 times better sense of smell, so it makes good sense and occasionally the cattles of the villagers. If I were one of the lions of Africa then North East Nigeria is the perfect feeding ground for me.

Not surprising, one aboki said getting guns in the North was just like buying bread across the street. Unfortunately these people hide under religion, who will even imagine that a 13 year old and a 15year old are even in a relationship in the North of all places? Who will imagine an Hisbah commander being in a hotel with a married woman, also in the north? Hipocrisy at its maximum undecided
The northerners are never to be taken seriously. When you live amongst them you would realise the hypocrisy and decay of the society truly begins and ends with them. The higher they are in class or society the worst the hypocrisy.

All the gunslinging, marauders, theft and whatever is happening in tbe country today has it's roots with northern leaders and their families. No northerner can endure hardship like the southerners....quote me anywhere. What we arw witnessing today in Nigeria is the real effect of Covid-19 on the economy and we are a people that failed to prepare for doomsday and now it has caught up with us but these northerners would use any opportunity to get by and survive while the lot of us keep doing the right thing. Do not be deceived brethren for they do not see us as their brothers or sisters.
PoliticsRe: Chris Ngige: Igbos Held Sensitive Positions But Didn't Use It For Igbo Welfare by laiza(m): 9:27am On Feb 24, 2021
tsephanyah:
Buhari is doing what we want him to do, even if it will lead us to "whatever the choice words". For almost 50 years the South dominated all positions, now our children have "degrees" because that all was needed in the golden years. We encountered the same ideas among our plutocrats at home. They, too, always hoped for internal disruption, dissolution, civil war of Northern against Northern. Exactly the same ideas are encountered today. They say: "There will be a revolution in Nigeria in one weeks." They do not know who is going to make the revolution. There are no revolutionaries among us. Some have already left Lagos to Abuja because Lagos is too close to their revolution's future field of operations. They are establishing their headquarters far from their future field of battle. Nevertheless, they assert that the revolution will come. Who will make it? We do not know. How it will be made, we do not know either. All we know is that in North there can be, at the most, only a few fools who might think of revolution, and that they are all behind iron bars.

Then they said: "Winter, North Winter is coming, and he will force North to her knees." But, unfortunately, the Northern people are "winter-proof." Northern history has passed through I do not know how many tens of thousands of winters. We will get through this one, too.

Then they say: "Starvation will come." We are prepared against this, too. We know the humanitarian sentiments of our Southern opponents and so have made our preparations. I believe that starvation will reach them before it reaches us.

Then they said: "Time is on our side." But time is only on the side of those who work. No one has been harder at world than we. Of that I can assure them. In fact, all these vague hopes which they are building up are absolutely childish and ridiculous.

In general, I should like to add one thing: The Northern people can look back upon many years of development. Its history goes back 200 years. For 100 years there has been a Northern project, a project which actually contained only Northerners. During this time our people survived the most astounding blows of fate. It will also survive everything that the present or the future may bring. Indeed, it will do so even better, because it is my belief that there has always been a Northern people and, for more than 1000 years, a Northern project, but there has never before been Nigerian unity nor the compact organization of our people that we possess today, and there has not always been the leadership which the Northern people possesses today.
Beautifully crafted and drives some valid points home.

The phone is dead. Next time when your phone falls in water just remove it and don't try to power it on, instead put it inside raw rice for an hour or more then power it on and you're good to go. Rice is a drying agent.

Nigeria President seems to be the most power "democratic" President in the world. (correct me, if I'm wrong) Nothing can be achieved by anyone, including State Governors, without licking the ass of the president.
let it be known that you are hereby corrected. Look at the ESN, did they lick the president's ass before kicking fulani herdsmen out of Ebonyi and Imo? Did Sunny Igboho lick Buhari's ass? Is Falz father or Falz himself licking anybodies ass? You have to get your facts right because security is a collective responsibility of all leaders in Nigeria because I don't see these so called "ass lickers" running to Abuja before deciding what to collect as tax in their respective states.

I am interested in the documents. I hope they are not going to make COVID19 vaccination compulsory? I have the right to reject the vaccine that I have weird feelings about.
There is something fishy about the way World leaders and Bill Gates are going about this COVID 19 vaccine.
The death rate for COVID 19 in Nigeria is still less than 2000 in the past one year but according to WHO, Malaria kills more than 30,000 Nigerians every year.

Why have they not found vaccine for malaria? I am not saying COVID 19 is not real, but it is not our priority in Nigeria and Africa.
Malaria vaccine
There is malaria vaccine, which is used to prevent malaria. The only approved vaccine as of 2015 is RTS,S known by the trade name Mosquirix but it's very expensive and since malaria tablets can be bought with less than $1 and readily available ther.e is no point making the vaccine on a large scale. Besides malaria is a disease endemic to Africa, South America, Asia and Middle East.

When I see a couple and see their kids....I already know which one of them is a weakling in the other room.
It's obvious Davido is passionate and very good in bed and that's why all his kids look like him.

I have postulated a theory that says that it is not about dominant and recessive genes but about performance at conception.
Go and check it; a child always looks like the partner who worked harder on the day the child was conceived.
This your illustration is so bizzare and illogical because how do you even begin to gauge the dominant partner during coitus? The whole thing is at best laughable.
InvestmentRe: What Business Can Turn A Million Naira To 3 Million In 11 Months? by laiza(m): 4:52pm On Nov 24, 2020
I am not sure there is any business that can triple your investment in 11 months. The fastest means you can have is buying of real estate but the value cannot triple in 11 months except by sheer luck.
But there are businesses you can do or invest into that can turn 1 million into 2.25 million in 11 months. Number one is onions at the moment. Secondly is alcoholic bitters, thirdly is rice.

All these are products and items that will sell these period and if you're determined and disciplined you can make 100% profit with some luck in 7 months. 11 months is not realistic for 200% profit.

Why would he want to do that?

They are siblings. That should be another form of incest.
Please care to expatriate on that cos I don't see how they are "siblings" biologically speaking. They don't share the same DNA nor do they have a blood ancestry.
The only issue is environmental which is insignificant in as much as they both understand each other and have feel the same way towards one another. Too many homes have been broken due to misunderstanding and less trivial issues. If they have a chance at happiness let them take it. My view though!

Please can an adopted son marry the biological daughter of the same family he’s adopted to?
I don't see anything wrong with that since they basically understood each other better, probably more than anyone they both could have been involved with separately. It's more like a situation of cousins marrying each other. But it has to be with the consent of both parties and the parents has to be okay with it as well otherwise their union would be seen as incestuous.

Do you know English is the official language of about 67 countries and 124 countries speak and understand it perfectly.

So I don't really see language as a barrier in as much as you have a visa for the destination you are going, the rest is just transit visa that can be issued at the border. Airport, train station, bus station, ship yard etc are all borders.

RomanceRe: What Is The Purpose Of Humans In This Physics Earth by laiza(m): 6:56pm On Nov 18, 2020
Suppose you were an early hominid and accidentally stubbed your toe on a rock, it occurs to you to use the rock to pound something, perhaps a nut or clam that you want to crack open. The encounter with the rock was accidental and the rock had no antecedent purpose, but you have put the rock to a purposeful use and thereby bestowed a purpose – your purpose – upon it.

Life is like that too – it has no antecedent purpose but only the purpose we give it through our own purposeful actions. Surely that is better than our life having a purpose that has been antecedently given to it by someone else (i.e. a supernatural being, parent/guardian or a teacher).

The purpose of anything - your life, stone, volcano etc is in itself the purpose you give it otherwise it has no purpose to you but definitely has a purpose to something or someone.

TravelRe: Is It Ok To Fly To Dubai Via Turkish Airline? by laiza(m): 1:59am On Nov 14, 2020
wandeay:
I am planning on going to Dubai by December, and the cheapest economy rates of Emirates Airline are sold out.

From the alternative options available, I find Turkish airline to be my choicest, but I don't know if I will need extra documents e.g transit visa, ...

...as Turkish Airline would have a stop over in Turkey before heading to Dubai.

Please I need help and suggestions.
Thanks.
You do not need a transit visa as you would only be in Istanbul Airport for some few hours before the second leg of your flight to the UAE and it's an international business arena so you do not need a visa if you do not leave the airport.

Should you have anything to do in the ancient city you can get a few hours visa either in the plane or at the airport though but there is nothing you want in Istanbul that you wouldn't find in the UAE.
