I understand very well where the lady or her father was coming from. I have been in Dubai for close to 2 years now and I have dated 2 Kenyans, a Zimbabwean and a Nigerian and I must say the best relationship till date is still with the Kenyan hats off. But one thing I can relate with is that as long as you're out of Nigeria there is a lady back home waiting for you. You may not know this but in her heart and probably within your family and her family's mind she is your wife. You may not even know her yet.

It's a very docile creature, it hardly strikes at anything except what it can eat and that's when it's hungry. He could have just taken it further into the forest or something. You shouldn't be afraid of these animals as they would hardly harm you, they have more to fear from humans than we have to fear from them. Another thing humans don't understand is that there are a lot of strange diseases you can contract from eating snake meat. If you were using the venom or hide I can understand, but for meat... people need to be very careful. "Snake diseases that can be passed to humans include salmonellosis, botulism, leptospirosis, and campylobacteriosis".

Nigeria had extradited many fraudsters to the US in the past and they also did not commit the crime on US soil. AK may not have committed any crime on US soil but so was Hushpuppi too so if HP cam be tried on US soil then AK should face the same. Right now you have to understand that they need you more than you need them. Most employers don't operate that way especially in Nigeria. Has he not been receiving salary? And if he was laid off would he not accept one month salary if it was offered? Another thing you should understand is they cannot find a replacement to cover for him for the remaining days of the month. Since he couldn't tell his former employer that he needs at least 2 weeks notice then he is automatically telling his present employer he doesn't care about them or their job because he would rather go back to where he came from even though he was fired. Your present employer has no right to ask for a month salary in lieu except this was not expressly stated in your appointment letter. The universal practice is that either party can put an end to the relationship before appointment confirmation.
