Christianity Etc › Re: 12 Questions People Ask About The Christian Faith by lakezone67(m): 8:55am On Jul 02, 2017 |
ExInferis: Christianity created its own problems.
No religion is as confused on its deities as christianity.
1. God is one. No, god is 3. But in the beginning there was only one.
2. god is omnipotent, but he needed 6 days to create the universe, and needed a whole day to rest his frail mortal husk as he was winded from all that awesome creatin'.
3. Jesus is god. No jesus is the son of god.
4. god sent his only (mis)begotten son to die, even though god is jesus, and jesus knew about god's (his?) plan to get crucified on earth. But hold on, why is jesus, who's also god (remember?) wailing for god to save him when the romans were closing in? "eli eli lama sabachthani "
5. jesus prayed to god and says god is his father. But you don't pray to god, oh no. You pray to jesus. Cause jesus is god. But god is also jesus' father. And the holy spirit is also god. But jesus is not the holy spirit. And the holy spirit is not god's son. Who made the holy spirit again? And was it a duet before jesus was born by mortal mary?
Damn.
Christianity is just a massive mindfuck.
Even buddhists and idol worshippers have straightened out their deities' origin story. You are an incorrigible confused confusionist |

sweetangel04: Fellow nairalanders. am new on this platform. I am dating a guy whose love for me has successfully built up my confidence in him.ò we have been dating for over a year and just recently he proposed to me which I accepted because I never expected his marriage proposal to come so soon.
Fast forward, last weekend I came to visit him. on entering his sitting room I met a young lady in her late 30s. my guy introduced her to me as his niece which she as well confirmed. just early this morning at about 1am I woke up to ease myself only to discover that that my guy was not in bed with me. I tiptoed to the guest room door and I head voices. my guy's so called niece was moaning heavily. i tried opening the door, it opened, low and behold my man was aggressively banging this girl with reckless abandon. he did not stop until he ejaculated that was when they both realised there was a third party watching them. my man has been pleading telling me it's was the devil who pushed him.
I discovered that the lady is actually his niece. right now I don't want to continue with him anymore. few hours ago his parent called and begged me not to leave their son. I asked if their son told them what he did? they said he did not. but as things stands now am pulling out of the relationship until he confesses to the world what he did and why he did it. A girl will always think like a girl... if he tells the whole world, isn't that a shame unto you too? Barbaric! |

Chumzypinky: i dont understand. Whats the criticism there? Dat TheBlessedMAN is always mentioning husband/wife things? I never knew that was a criticism. I tot critism (in storywriting) is when a reader points out certain faults in a story. I never knew telling someone else apart from the writer to stop a particular thing not related to the story has turned into criticism Oladim said something 'bout the story not correlating with the title and some other things he mentioned, and he got that reply.... That's what I m talking about |

WHAT HAVE FATHERS DONE TO DESERVE THIS? Have you noticed that all the good songs only celebrate mothers? Try this one: Who sat and watched my infant head When sleeping on my cradle bed And tears of sweet affection shed? My mother. Or this one: Sweet mother, I no go forget you For dis suffer wey you suffer for me eh.... The Yoruba people are not left out. Iya ni wura iyebiye, ti a ko le fowora O loyun mi f'osu mesan, O pon mi fodun meta, Iya ni wura iyebiye, ti a ko le fowora Sometimes, it could even get slightly abusive Mummy oooo, waa pe l'aye Mummy oooo, wa jeun omo Eni ba ni ko ni ribe, a fo loju, A kan lapa, a ko senu trailer, a ku tu e! Do you know the popular song for Fathers? A ti gbe Baba re'le eeeee A ti gbe Baba re'le A ti gbe eeeeee A ti gbe eeeee, Baaba re 'le One mischievous person chose this for Fathers Baba o, Baba o, Baba o Oluwa da Baba si FUN WA Unfortunately, that song is not praying that the Father should leave long to enjoy the work of his hands. No! That song is just praying for the father so that they can continue to milk him dry (Oluwa da Baba si FUN WA!) The question now is what exactly have fathers done to deserve this |

Sports › Messi's Argentina Ban Lifted By Fifa After Appeal by lakezone67(op): 2:58pm On May 05, 2017 |
Lionel Messi is free to represent Argentina in their World Cup qualifiers after his four-match international ban was overturned on appeal.
The 29-year-old Barcelona forward was suspended for directing "insulting words" at an assistant referee during a 1-0 win over Chile in March.
He missed one match - Argentina's 2-0 World Cup qualifying loss to Bolivia. . A Fifa appeal committee said while his behaviour was "reproachable", the evidence was not sufficient.
He will now be available for matches against Uruguay, Venezuela and Peru as Argentina fight to secure a place at next summer's World Cup finals in Russia.
A fine of 10,000 Swiss francs (£7,800) was also lifted.
During the Chile game, Messi was caught on camera venting his anger at an assistant who signalled he had committed a foul. He was not shown a card at the time.
The Fifa appeal committee concluded "the evidence available was not sufficient to establish" an infringement had occurred. "The appeal committee nevertheless underlines the importance of always showing respect to the match officials, stressing that such a principle is essential in football and any unsporting conduct that may be contrary to the principles of fair play cannot be accepted," it said in a statement.
