Nope, never. Nobody should be dipping anything into your pot, that's where you and you husband eat from.

House help or not, you should be cooking your own food, and serving anyone ( including relatives visiting) in your house that wants to eat. Being nice doesn't mean being stupid enough to leave your food so exposed that anyone within your household can just walk to your kitchen and open your pot.

These days you can't be too careful, plus its disrespectful, I'll never go to anybody's house and expect to take food myself.

Start telling the main people concerned ( like parents and family, instead of friends that don't matter) directly and indirectly throw it to them that you will marry someone from a different religion, hear and watch their reaction, while making them see that you can be strict with what you want, and let her do the same.

If you guys try that and see that there is no hope, better to start ending it now before e critical cheesy

Jeez girl! We have exactly the same problem, still why I can't marry him, not ready to build not ready to improve and when you try to help/advice him his stupid Ego gets in the way. I just had to leave him alone, I broke up, I'm done.

I understand why you are in a hurry, but if there's a chance you and your wife could fix things up, since you say she doesn't mind adoption, and you want your own blood. then you can your surrogate birth the child and you raise him together. But if you don't trust her to not have issues with it, or yourself to rub it in her face(since it'll be your blood and not her's ) then just ditch her but that child needs a good mother.
