gragragra:That was a scam. Do they still have AGMs |
Yet this man said he will fight corruption, same one he said he will destroy Boko Haram. #Onechance |
Yet they will feed them, cloth then with tax payers money and call them repentant Boko Haram. |

#YNWA Sheffield may be doing well but we will get another win. We want to start the decade on a strong note. |

Lalaska:I don't feel lucky. I feel blessed to by God. - Alison Becker |
Lalaska:Congratulations to the Liverpool man #YNWA |
Alison Becker for the best goal keeper trophy |
This man just said 50-80 people will benefit from the free ride daily. Amazing |
Bello must go! |
#YNWA. Very good 3 points for us but make no mistake, the season is far from over. We need to maintain consistency until May 2020 to lift our first PL trophy. |
It is a pity the my kogi people are so hungry and gullible that Yahaya Bello has the audacity to put himself forward for re-election. The most useless governor in the history of the country. He literally ran the state aground. Refused the pay salaries, no tangible infrastructural development, thuggery and kidnapping is now a normal thing in the state. In saner climes, this man should be in court explaining what happened to all the monies he has received in the past four years. But what do we have, bribing the Attah of Igala with a Roll Royce Phantom 3 weeks to the election and sharing money around all for votes. This is a sad reality and an unfortunate situation for Kogi. He will use money and incumbency to win again. |
You read this news and you realize that this is not a serious country. On one end of the spectrum there is extreme poverty, which as defined by the World Bank as living on $1.25 or less a day. Guess which country has the most extreme poverty, you are right. This same country above that consistently spends billions on frivolities with no genuine programme to get people out of poverty. I struggle to reconcile both ends of the spectrum. My conclusion, these guys are not serious and it is unfortunate for the people. |
They have started again. Hungry men. |
my lecturer shared a similar experience. They just moved to Canada and Needed to get a washing machine urgently, they found one that the price was really higher than their budget but felt they could beat it down. They Approached the young couple. selling it and after bargaining, they paid and went to look for a truck to bring it Home. When they got Home, the wife opened the washing machine and saw an envelope with more than thrice the money they paid, there was a small Note there that read "we love your family and hope you settle in Soon, please do reachout if you need any assistance.". That was really touching. This happened over 10 years ago.[/quote]Wow, that's really nice. The country becomes better because we receive and give kindness and the cycle goes ground. |
So my wife and I took a few days off. It's pre thanksgiving and we decided to have lunch at a restaurant. We went with our 11 month old baby and sat beside a couple that were wrapping up their own lunch. They admired our beautiful baby and gave the usual compliments - "oh she's so cute", "How old is she" etc. They left before us and when we concluded, asked for the bill. We received the shock of our lives when the waiter told us the couple had paid for our lunch, that they liked our baby. We were so surprised and didn't even have the opportunity to say thank you to them. These guys are super nice here and we indeed feel very grateful. Happy thanksgiving to all Canadians. |
To the NFF: you can't sit down and watch people hussle their way and become stars or watch as other countries develop your player, only for you to suddenly call them up when they're made. You need to make conscious efforts to develop your players and not wait to claim them when they're made. To Tammy: all the best in your career. But I doubt they will utilise you for too long. |
Overzealousness and unnecessary eye service. Sometimes I blame our subjects more than our leaders. How does urban development work relate to renaming of roads after a sitting governor? Have you finished developing the urban areas in the state? Check now, he hasn't done anything substantial since he was appointed. |
Quite a heavy fine IMO but we want to win as many trophies as possible this season so we will take it and remain in the competition. Up next FIFA club world Cup in December. |
Time to get our #UCL on track after the temporary setback at Naples. We should have this in the bag comfortably. 4:0 to Liverpool. #YNWA |
You guys be here insulting each other while the OP is there working hard and making more money. Una well done. |
Opportunity for Brewster, Elliott to impress and try to convince Klopp they're ready to break into the first team. And the likes of Lallana and Chamberlain need to prove they deserve to still wear the red Liverpool shirt. This is their opportunity. Should be a good win for Liverpool but do not despise these League 1 and 2 potential Banana pills. Ask Spurs |
So my passport still had 4 months to expire so I decided to renew it to avoid delays whenever I decide to travel. I live in Halifax Nova Scotia and since I was in Montreal for some weeks, I decided to take advantage of the proximity to Ottawa to get the passport done once and for all. I googled how to renew your passport and gathered all the necessary documents including a copy of my NIN and the plastic National ID card (I already got this from Nigeria). I made my payment online and printed out the payment receipt. I took the via rail train from Montreal at 6:20 and arrived in Ottawa at 8:20. I took another train to Parliament station and walked to the embassy. I arrived at 9am to find alot of people to my amazement. There was a sheet of paper where we wrote our names to determine order of going into the building. I was #24 on the list. We were ushered into the building and given numbers. A lady collected our documents and asked us to wait. I didn't need the NIN and ID card. Everything was efficient upto this point. We waited for about 2 hours before someone came and told us the printer was not working hence we would not get our passports same day. It would be mailed to us hence we should go and get prepaid envelopes from Canada Post. We were finally asked to go for capture in batches. Mine was the second batch. The process was pretty much ok. I left there at about 12:00 noon. Overall the process was pretty ok but you cannot make plans as you don't know what you will meet there. The staff were friendly and made a lot of jokes to make us feel at home. I had read that some people did not spend up to 10 mins in previous appointments. I am now taking the bus back to Montreal since I took the risk to buy a return train ticket ( I could've bought one way though) and missed my train. Key take away: Do not wait until it's close to your trip to renew your passport. It's too risky and you don't know the situation you will meet at the high commission. |
More like an airstrip instead of an airport. |
Ronaldo should have made the team 11 but I think VVD should've won it. |
Wonder what Sergio Ramos is doing there |
The consistent comparison with ministers is annoying. You have a different responsibility from ministers so you need to stop this comparison and two wrongs don't make a right. This is where the bulk of the our budget goes every year hence nothing left for capital projects, yet they want to increase VAT to pay for these sort of things. |
Congratulations to her. The work starts now. Our problem has never been qualifying but we get there and crash out in the first round. Need all the work including the necessary psychological work. |
