Crime / Re: APC Used Chibok Girls To Clinch Power But Not To Free Them –parents by laliga01: 6:36am On Apr 16, 2019
unclesuruoffi:
Parents of the abducted Chibok girls who are still in captivity, have accused the APC government of using their daughters to clinch power but not to free them. Mr Ayuba Alamson who is the spokesperson of parents of the abducted girls, said the APC benefitted from their travails, but had not done enough to dry their tears.

Ayuba who stated that it was a well known fact that the circumstances surrounding the abduction of the schoolgirls on April 14, 2014 from their school in Chibok Secondary School was the major reason many Nigerians opted for change and chose the APC over the Peoples Democratic Party, attributed the inability to rescue the girls at the early stage of their abduction to the unserious attitude of the then administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, who according to him never believed the kidnap story until two weeks after the girls’ abduction.

The spokesperson of parents of the Chibok girls who accused the APC of using their daughters to clinch power but not to free them, also slammed the the APC leadership in Borno State who according to them failed to act promptly to the security alert in the area before the abduction.

“APC has used the abduction of our girls to earn power in an easy way in 2015 but is yet to justify the promises they made while seeking power then. I also supported the efforts of those parents in voting for the APC, but till today, the efforts are in vain. Our girls were in the hands of the APC government at the state level, while the PDP was ruling at the federal level" Alanson said.

Crime / Re: Fulani Herdsmen Kill Nnamdi Ogueche Lecturer In Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka by laliga01: 6:06am On Mar 22, 2019
Osagyefo98:
Enugu – Dr Nnamdi Ogueche, a senior lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has been killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Enugu State.

He was killed along Ezeagu- Umulokpa Uzo-uwani road in the State.

Shortly before his death, Ogueche was said to have presided over a peace meeting between his kinsmen of Adada town Uzo-Uwani and Fulani herdsmen.

It was further gathered that the slain University don was the Administrative Secretary of Uzo- Uwani LGA, Enugu State.

He was aged 40 and was married with three children, two girls and a boy.

Suleiman Balarabe, the Enugu State Commissioner of Police confirmed this report while briefing journalists at the Headquarters of the State Police Command on Thursday.

Balarabe described the incident as unfortunate, saying investigation was ongoing.

He added that the police was yet to ascertain if Fulani herdsmen carried out the heinous killing.

It could be recalled that Fulani herdsmen massacred 11 persons at Nimbo, Uzo-uwani LGA, Enugu State in May 2016.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi who wept bitterly at the scene had instituted a Judicial Panel of Inquiry to look into the immediate and remote causes of the incident and make recommendations to forestall future occurrence.

The commission had submitted its report since 2017 but the state government white paper has not been released till date.

Crime / Re: Polyana Viana Beats Thief Who Wanted To Rob Her by laliga01: 3:31pm On Jan 08, 2019
goldcoinhub:
A UFC fighter Polyana Viana waiting for an Uber in Rio de Janeiro may have appeared an easy target to a would-be thief, but he obviously miscalculated.

The only problem for the perpetrator was his target was a strawweight UFC fighter, who turned the tables on the thief with punches, a kick and a "rear-naked choke" before forcing him to sit and wait for the police.

Mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Polyana Viana, nicknamed "the Iron Lady", told website MMA Junkie the thief used a fake gun to try and steal her mobile phone while she waited outside her apartment block on Saturday night.

"When he saw I saw him, he sat next to me," Viana said.

"He asked me the time, I said it, and I saw he wasn't going to leave. So I already moved to put my cell phone in my waist.

"And then he said, 'Give me the phone. Don't try to react, because I'm armed.' Then he put his hand over [a gun], but I realised it was too soft.

"He was really close to me. So I thought 'if it's a gun, he won't have time to draw it.' So I stood up. I threw two punches and a kick. He fell, then I caught him in a rear-naked choke.

"Then I sat him down in the same place we were before and said 'now we'll wait for the police'."

With her assailant subdued, Viana found the gun was in fact just a cardboard cut-out of a pistol.

She said she asked passers-by to call the police while she kept the man pinned.

"I was fine because he didn't even react after. Since he took the punches very quickly, I think he was scared. So he didn't react anymore," she said.

"He told me to let him go, like 'I just asked for the time.' I said, 'Asked for the time my ass,' because he saw I was very angry.

"I said I wouldn't let go and that I was going to call the police. He said 'call the police, then', because he was scared I was going to beat him up more."

Viana said police took the man to a medical facility to treat his wounds and then to the police station, where she filed a report.

UFC president Dana White applauded Viana, tweeting an image of the fighter alongside the mugger.

"On the left is @Polyana_VianaDF, one of our @UFC fighters and on the right is the guy who tried to rob her #badf***ingidea," White tweeted.

Viana said she simply went home and made dinner after leaving the police station, adding her hands hurt a little the day after, but it was nothing serious.

He is not right until he proposes the payment structure cuts across board.

What I mean is that same should be applied to all civil servants in a state, including the governors.

On this note all state governors should also earn according to he realties. I don't think a governor of Anambra should earn the same as a governor of Borno or Jigawa.

It's quite cumbasome. Of a problem to be honest. So many wrong decisions had been made in the past and it's seems almost impossible to correct.
Amongst all the govt workers, the civil servants are the ones suffering the most.
Until governors, senators and other appointees started earning according to minimum wage, they will keep taking the civil servants for granted.

There is so much benefit in govt and that's why we are not thinking progressively once we get a govt position.

I believe P. Obi is right. Since some states pretend that they can't afford the new minimum wage, different minimum wage should be adopted by different states.
It will help reduces these multiple months non payment of salary
It will also make the states competitive
It will help each states look inward to harness their resources and lastly
This federalism has never worked and is not going to work in Nigeria. We all know these but we prefer to pretend we don't.
Each state needs autonomy for things to work and give some percentage to the federal govt.

The solution to Nigeria's problem is as clear as morning light. We are just not ready.

*BREAKING!! 190 Policemen Mobilised To Fight Boko Haram Escape From Police Force(See Names)

Hundred and Ninety policemen sent to Boko Haram terrorists have reportedly fled for their lives, Igbere TV has learned.

Igbere TV also gathered that the Force Headquarters, Abuja, has ordered for the arrest and prosecution of the officers.

According to report, the said officers were to be sent to battle without appropriate training, and also observed that nearly all of them are southerners and Christians.

“Those are the names of policemen who were mobilised without any serious training to be sent to the front lines to fight Boko Haram who ran away,” said the source.

“Nearly all of them are southerners and Christians; 96% of the total number mobilised are southerners and Christians too. This has raised so much dust and outcry in the NPF.”

However, the Police presented a slightly different account of the incident. A ‘Police Wireless Message’ sent from the Force Headquarters to MOPOLS in 22 states, obtained by Igbere TV , said the policemen were being trained at the Special Forces school, Buni-Yadi, where they absconded from. The MOPOLS were urged to treat the matter as “very important”.

The 190 officers may have been intended to be part of the group of 2,000, which the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, deployed to the North East late last month to fight Boko Haram.

Announcing the deployment, Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, had said the policemen comprised personnel of the Police Mobile Force (PMF) and Counter Terrorism Units (CTU), as well as those of the Force and the Sniffer Dog Sections.

Moshood also stated that the new deployment was consistent with Section 4 of the Police Act and Regulations.

The section, he said, “specifies the general duties of the Nigeria Police Force as follows: The police shall be employed for the prevention and detection of crime, the apprehension of offenders, the preservation of law and order, the protection of life and property and the due enforcement of all laws and regulations with which they are directly charged, and shall perform such military duties within or outside Nigeria as may be required of them by or under the authority of this or any other Act”.

“The deployment is also to support the strength of the military to defeat the Boko Haram insurgency,” he added.

“Before now, the Nigeria Police Force has on ground 47 PMF units (63 X 47 = 2961) in Borno State in addition to the Police Mobile Force (PMF) Squadron in Borno State. Twenty-six units (63 X 26 = 1638) on ground in Yobe State in addition to the Police Mobile Force (PMF) Squadron in Yobe State.

“Eighteen units (63 X 18 = 1134) on ground in Adamawa State in addition to the Police Mobile Force (PMF) Squadron in Adamawa State.”

See names of the 190 police officers obtained by Igbere TV below:

I still don't understand why and how police is drafted to go fight Boko Haram where better trained soldiers failed.
Is there something special about the Nigerian police that warrant such assignment?
We always find a way to do the wrong things for the right reasons. They did well to escape and run for their lives, it would have been same story of ambushed Nigerian police.

How do this Boko boys get sensitive information and strategist about Nigerian Armed Forces is alarming?

nairavsdollars:
By Temidayo Akinsuyi

Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), in this interview with TEMIDAYO AKINSUYI speaks on his expectations for the New Year, his thoughts on the 2019 presidential election and other issues. Excerpts:

What are your expectations for Nigeria in the New Year especially under the Muhammadu Buhari administration?

I expect things to get better in 2019. The economy will get better and the situation of things will greatly improve. Nigerians will begin to see that the coming of Buhari has been a great blessing for this country. They will also see that some of the foundations he is laying down now for accountability, transparency, honesty and integrity and applying the resources of the state judiciously for infrastructure and other things of development will become permanent. No government in future will be able to fritter away the resources and leaving the masses suffering as it was done in the past before the coming of Buhari. So, I strongly believe that he is going to leave a permanent record which successive governments have to struggle to meet.

The 2019 election is coming up in few weeks’ time. Do you see President Buhari retaining his position?

I have no doubt that President Buhari will win the presidential election by a landslide.

Don’t you see Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a threat to him with many Nigerians believing that Northern votes will be divided between the two?

Atiku can’t divide his votes in the North and he will not get anything significant in the Northern region. Everybody especially in the North trust Buhari. They have confidence in him because of his records and integrity. They are sure that whenever he makes promises, you can hold him to his words. You cannot say that of Atiku. Nobody will want to leave what is good, what they have experienced and now take a risk for something that is uncertain. So, I believe President Buhari has performed creditably well to deserve a second term and Nigerians who are appreciative of what he has done in the last three and half years will ask him to continue for another four years.

Were you surprised by the actions of some federal lawmakers who booed President Buhari recently during his budget presentation?

The action of the lawmakers who booed the President was nothing but an animal behavior. Harry Belafonte used to sing one song. He said ‘ A donkey will sometimes bray, let him bray; let him bray’. That is my response to the actions of the lawmakers. We should allow their donkeys bray. They behave like animals and they just demonstrated their true nature during the budget presenation. We should just tolerate them at their low level of humanity and conduct. You saw what the President told them. He said they are expected to be above this because the whole world is watching them. I think the President is wrong because they are not above what they did. That is their level and they are demonstrating it to the world. So I am not surprised at all.

Some lawmakers in the House of Representatives have begun moves to revert Nigeria to parliamentary system of government. Do you see this as a step in the right direction?

I believe Nigerians (this time unemployed legislators) have found a new favourite subject for debate and wasteful diversion of time and resources. Suddenly, Parliamentary System of Government is the holy grail for Nigerian political salvation. For days now, the media, both orthodox and social have become fiercely engaged in pursuing a new political chimera with excitement and apparent seriousness.

Let it be made clear, the whole idea of one system being better than the other is “poppy cock”, time wasting, arising from either ignorance or mischief. The mischief here being to have a Buhari with reduced powers.

In 1963, when I was an undergraduate at the University of Ife, the Students’ Union invited Chief Rotimi Williams, soon after he left office as Attorney-General of the Western Region, to address the Students’ Body on which system was preferable for Nigeria: Parliamentary or Presidential? I have never forgotten his answer. Briefly summarised, it was that neither of the two systems was better than the other.

The success of Governance depended on the quality of the operators of government. Bad operators, i.e., bad politicians and “leaders” would always produce bad and failed governance. In other words, the fault was not in the system of governance, but in the quality of the operators of the system.

We were operating this suddenly “golden” parliamentary system then. It led to a declaration of a state of emergency in the Western Region, restriction and detention of major political figures, crisis and violence, and the fall of the first Republic. The fault dear Nigerians, was not in that system, but in the irresponsible and reckless manner in which First Republic politicians conducted themselves.

It is even more foolish to think that the introduction of the parliamentary system will weaken the Buhari Government and empower the opposition. On the contrary, the Prime Minister under a Parliamentary System is far more powerful than a President under the Presidential system.

The Prime Minister combines the positions of Leader of Parliament and Head of Government. He does not need the confirmation of parliament to appoint Ministers. It is his sole prerogative. If a vote of no confidence against him succeeds, he can dissolve parliament, and compel his critics and foes to face a fresh election in which they might not be returned.

In other words, a Prime Minister is President and Speaker of the House of Representatives rolled into one. Never mind the fact that the British Parliament has someone designated “Speaker”. All he does is to recognize House members who wish to speak.

The Prime Minister must be recognised above every other person as soon as he or she rises up to speak. The Speaker has no discretion in that regard. It is the British Prime Minister who exercises all the powers currently enjoyed by the Nigerian speaker. The House of Lords (Senate) is simply a decoration intended to give the aristocracy and retired elder statesmen a false sense of importance and relevance.

The Prime Minister is effectively, National President, Speaker and President of the Senate, rolled into one. To bring home the message clearly, there will be no “Saraki”, no “Dogara”- in that system. Buhari will bestride the Nigerian World, under the parliamentary system being proposed.

The Senate and its President in such a system is an impotent and relatively unimportant body. It can delay, but cannot hold-up legislation. In fact its opposition to any bill can be overridden by the House under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

So those calling for the re-introduction of the Parliamentary system in the mistaken belief that it will result in a weak Executive Branch should think again. They are foolishly asking for a system in which a powerful Prime Minister will control both the Legislative and the Executive Arms of Government. My advice to them is “Beware of what you wish for yourselves.

She feels more hornier now. Her clit is still a very useful tool for her pleasure. The mastery skill of stimulating the clit and focus on the gspot is what she should discuss with her hubby.
Fingering is also good. If the man is now bored with her body. And he now climaxes in 2mins, then he should use fingers to hit both her gspot and rub her clit. She will moan in deep pleasure. Then he can take his position. Raising one of her legs up then hit the spots while she lays and he stands.
Breast handling; foreplays is just the key.
