Andyblaze: As Ph.d Holder i want to endorse the ban. Both songs offer a rather sexually volatile and bamboozling enuciation that could corrupt the minds of the young, in turn they will be of a negative attack to the society and such negativity will cause the collapse of nigeria and we will all go extinct. EducationRe: Most Annoying Common Grammatical Errors In English by laplace19(m): 1:05pm On Sep 17, 2013
JMOI: It should go with a past tense. Just like "Have you brushed your teeth?"
Thanks,bro....but one more thing

Since "have you" goes with a past verb, can one say "Have you ate"?

The sentence does not even sound well, but "Have you eaten"? Sounds correct.

"Eaten" is a past participle.... With this now,I think "have you" should go with past participle form of verbs, and for those verbs that do not have their past participle, the "have you" should then go with their past verbs.

Do you agree with me,sir?
EducationRe: Most Annoying Common Grammatical Errors In English by laplace19(m): 6:07pm On Sep 16, 2013
...Can someone clarify me in this

(1) Have you checked your result?
(2) Have you check your result?

Should "have you" go with a past or present verb? That's the question.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Employment Test: 1+1=? Justify Your Assertion by laplace19(m): 9:40am On Sep 16, 2013
-1 + 1 = 1

TO JUSTIFY MY ASSERTION

If I have 1 naira and someone collects it from me(-1)...and he still gives it back to me(+1), I will still be left with the 1 naira(+1)

However, with the little knowledge I had during my year1 philosophy 101,an assertion can be true or false

That's my own suggestion,abeg

Although in mathematics - 1 + 1 = 0

druid06: What's the use of using pseudo-words in your lingua when half the audience does not understand what you're saying.

Mixing the English language with words from latin, french and spanish just to appear smarter. This is ridiculous and this is the kind of man we elect to lead us. A man who has no real identity and who isn't original. A fraud.

Isn't this the height of buffoonery and stupidity coming from a well educated grown man? We would expect this from high school students and undergrads but not from a grown man.

Like they say, empty barrels make the loudest noise.
If I dey see this guy post the thing dey vex me

From now on I will be an omnivorous reader and then, with my lingua prowess guys like druid06 will be mesmerised and get exasperated on reading my books/presentations,and then again,I won't give a f*ck to his aimless aimlessnessless, directionless directionlessness and jobless joblessnessless CREW. grin grin grin

kenzspunpy: You are nothing but a hater. The man Patrick Obahiagbon is only trying to create an identity for himself and has succeeded in doing that, whether u like him or not. Why are you angry with the man? I think he is famous for his style of communication and many people, including me appreciate him for no other reason but the fact that he serves as comic relief, especially when we are tensed. Why the hatred? Why call him names? Why bring the edo governor into the matter? If you are not ok by his style, why not ignore him? Is he even communicating with you? Who knows you? Who the hell are you self? My friend, stop hating for nothing and get busy! Pray, you even get famous as he is in your entire life!

Don't mind that never-do-well being

He loathes Hon.Patrick, yet he wasted some minutes if not an hour or more than trying to read and decipher the man's grammar.

Patrick's grammar will always mystify the guy anytime any day

gregg2: ASUU "agreements" never finish. As government implements one the next is put on the table again for discussion. These guys are a greedy bunch.

The NANS leadership are just naive if they think implementing this agreement for ASUU will end strike actions. And I bet you, Non academic staff, SSANU, NUT, Polytechnic, Colleges of Education are all waiting on the sidelines so they too can come up with their own agitations. The "No work, No Salary" policy should be put in the constitution.

What are you saying?

Why can't FG pay ASUU their earned allowance upon the fact that ASUU had already scaled it down from the actual 127 billion(as calculated for 3 years and 6months) to 87 billion?

Why can't FG implement the UNESCO recommended 26% budgetary allocation for our education?

Think of it,ordinary Ghana,Ivory coast and botswana with smaller Gross Domestic Product(GDP) are funding 31%,20% and 17% of their total budget to their education sector and we are funding our own hundreds of universities with just about 8.5%.

I will be the last person to cast aspersions on ASUU even though their actions are to my own and others detriment.

Soon FG will approve the 600billion for census as said by Festus Odimegwu,

Soon FG will venture on Space Exploration that can cost an outrageous amount of money

Whereas what "makes a nation" (education) is in jeopardy

"Vagabond Government" like the erst-while minister of aviation called it..

EducationRe: ASUU: FG Releases N30bn For Lecturers' Allowances by laplace19(m): 7:54pm On Sep 04, 2013
30 billion is not even up to half of the accrued total allowance which is 87billion. Although I am affected by the on-going distortion in the academic school calender, but I still want ASUU to continue with the strike until FG fulfils its agreement

Apparently,Nigerian universities are lagging behind in all things. Only Harvard university funds their school with almost 600 billion in a year, whereas in Nigeria hundreds of universities are about to be funded with just 400 billion in a year,as of last two years it was like 250 billion..SMH

It is really a pitiable disma-pisma,guys and ladies
