Can you move this thread to front page!

Thanks.
Seconded.

Mazi_Omenuko: Can't we bend your google's rule of detecting writing so as to solve this lingering problem? HBG has been complaining about this all afternoon, none of you gave her a headway, now I tried to give a her a little nudge in the 'dream' direction.

Abeg, this is the only plausible explanation, I don't think asking uniquex to edit her work is fair. She has really tried, we should pick it up from there.
HBG has already written the Chapter Ten, according to what she said.

Mazi_Omenuko: @HBG, this work must not be in line with your thought pattern, that's why it is unique: different writers with different styles.

Honestly, I wouldd have sent this post to your mail box if I had it, but have you thought of waking up the intern from a bad dream?

Something like. . .

- Maduka woke up panting and sweating profusely. This was the second dream he was having in a space of 5 hours he had slept.
The first dream had a limping man chasing him with what he believes to be the ribs of a cow, or a man. He had woken up with a scream, then after few hours of rest, he had slept off again only to dream of a Mrs. Suleiman requesting for the report he had copied from his dead boss' locker.
He was sure his dead boss had no wife, that was why the dream had become more complicated. He stood up and went towards his desk, where he had neatly folded the report, and checked the files to see if it was still there.

He saw it, folded just as he left it. . .then he let his mind wander about for a while. He thought of what will become of him now his boss had been murdered. He had a solid 5 months to conclude his internship. . .

A dream again? How many dreams in one story? We're still yet to give a plausible explanation about Lucan's dream. Now we're going to complicate it with another dream. Then someone else after her will tell us that all the killings in the previous chapters were done only in a dream? We all should Google the rules of writing [detective] stories.

Knocturnal, I'm sorry for making a disappointed man out of you. But if you were in my shoes, you'd've blown more gaskets than I've already. You know, when someone says your nose is big, you just don't smile it off without at least feeling that breather.

Ishilove, believe me when I tell you that I'm not gay grin It was only a brotherly compliment. wink

Frank, I agree with you, you should probably get that work deleted...I'm also thinking of doing the same on my BOC before the plagiarist begins to post mine too. Can you post his number? He should be jailed.

HBG, saying we all are blind is insult at its face value...I demand that you apologise.

Oahray: well, my opinion is, she does not have to if she does not want to. That's why it's her submission wink. I only have a prob with parts that directly conflicted with previous submissions. To her credit, she has corrected some of them.

As for this one you just pointed out, even if she doesn't edit it, there are many ways you can do so in your own submission. Writing is like painting, if you make a mistake, paint on top. smiley
Guy, I'm liking you more and more.

HBG, tell me, what wrong have I done you? I ignore your posts because you never seem to agree with anything I suggest. Besides, let's allow our private issues stay private. You've made something quite clear and I'm okay with it. Just stop emasculating me, I beg of you.

Oahray: yes, go right ahead and burst my head with a club tongue
But seriously, all this talk about Larry and Uniquexty is just wrong. It's not like we are working for him. This is supposed to be a collabo for the fun of it. Larry is simply taking the lead cos he brought the idea.
Same with uniquexty, she tried. How many peeps would volunteer to write the current chapter the way she did? I really do not like the way you guys are going on and on about it. It could be very demoralising.
May God bless you. This collaboration is just for the fun of it. To show that writers can work together. It pains me a lot when some people begins to make it look like a battlefield.

Ishilove: This plagiarism things is giving me the chills. Someone accused me of plagiarism on my 'Iyawo Nylon Bag' thread and urged me to acknowledge the real author. I was hopping mad when I read the post, but in retrospect, I suspect that an assshole somewhere has been copying my work and the poster who accused me thinks I, ISHILOVE, am the copy cat.

luvmijeje: Whoooooooo!a poster wrote that u reminded him of John Grisham, naaah u reminded me of James Patterson.See twist and turn, suspense, dialogue aaaaah.Larry u are gonna be a great international writer, take it from me infact take it to the bank.....but take notes of the following:
1.Glorification of rape-3 of ur characters raped,in my opinion that is too much and u are one-sided about it in ur writeup.
2.I don't remember d last time I read and am checking my dictionary,it seems to me u re showing off coz toward the last few chapters it kind of reduced.
3.Ur strong point is ur attentin to details but u re overdetailizing and double detailizing while under detailizing some characters pardon my grammar.
4.Art is an imitation of life-but there are some part I ll read and I can't stop wondering Nigeria? eeeeehn? it just seems unreal.

As ur first novel I doff my hat infact am standing to give loud ovation.I never regretted reading this. Thanks
Thanks a lot, Luvmijeje. I feel honoured getting compared with these great writers. But I've read only two Grishams (The Partner and The Summons) and none of Pattersons. I have 14 of Patterson's books...always putting them off to read later). Funny, huh?

About your notifications:

1. Yeah, most of the problems began with molestation. One was done for sheer pleasure (Richard's), another out of love or lust (Rosemary's) and the third was done out of insanity and wickedness (Rita's).

2. Well, maybe I was being childish or so, considering the fact that BOC is my first attempt at writing. The sequel is entirely devoid of unnecessary vocabulry, I think.

3. Some has already said that overdescription dey kill me grin But I'm trying to work on both over- and under-.

4. LOL! Unreal? Believe me, anything can happen anywhere. wink

Bless you, ma'am.

Efemena_xy: Larry, I think it's time you look into having our collaborations work copyright protected. I've known all along this was a ticking time bomb waiting to detonate.

Only surprised its taken this long...
This (getting copyright protection) may not be easily done, as it is a collective work. Unlike a single writer's.

This comment isn't necessary. You've already been defended. However, you should make the corrections asap so that the next writer can begin working.

Thanks.

larrysun, not all writers are masters of all genres.

her update is to me better, if deleted.

as in it fall short of the previous standards.
uniquesty, i might not b frequent in this section but have always followed this story.

for the fact that you made mention of HIM in an ordinary manner killed my joy.

my cents is that it shou,d be deleted.
I'll go with Oahray on this. Let's allow her to edit the work. Beheading is not the cure for headache. The lady really tried, I must say. She just needs to revisit some few irrregularities in the plotting (which dear Ishilove has kindly outlined).

It seems like all the writers are going on a killing spree. There is scarcely a chapter that doesn't have one character or the other being killed. Our murderous intents are taken out on the poor pens and papers. grin The plot thickens though.
