Iran can only boast of its Missiles (non Nuclear). They weren't testing the missile defence systems by going in with F-35s. they know that iran's radar and missile defence systems will NEVER detect the F-35s. they wanted to Photograph strategic Missile silos to know which places to attack and neutralize if war breaks out. Trust me, the reason why the reactor has not been brought down to rubbles is because Iran is still some way off in getting Nukes. if israel knows that they will get nukes soon, they will bring down the reactors, cos the reason iran is enriching it is solely to attack israel (at least that is what the iranians say). So israel will shout and talk and try to use diplomatic means to sabotage the reactor (even use assassinations by Mossad) Like they did with Saddam, if those dont work, the strike is usually the last option. They are just testing and planning for it. I agree with you that Iran is a threat o, but without Nukes and a good Airforce, they are no match for israel with arguably the best airforce in the world (Dog fight kill for kill and Air to ground Missions success).
