Politics / Re: Military Gets 234 New Generals, Retires 10 by LasgidyPort: 6:25am On Dec 17, 2022 |
The Nigerian military is trying with the unconventional boko haram war but we need them to do more. The government needs to compliment their efforts in the recruitment of a large amount of police to maintain security in the rural places. Lack of adequate security arrangements in the rural places is what is responsible for a chunk of the security problems Nigeria is facing but the govt still seems oblivious of this. As they are massively investing in the military, they need an almost equal level of investment in the rural areas with respect to civil security, education, means of livelihood and general quality of life. |

Optma88: Lol. This here is the problem with Nigeria. We turn a blind eye to unethical and immoral actions because it is in same direction with our personal bias. So to you, there's nothing wrong in sitting down and creating fake accounts to use in spmming different threads in praise of an individual? Is that not rigging in another dimension? He has enough nairaland actual people that support and praise him. There's no issue with that. The problem is in creating multiple accounts solely to influence pace of discussions and try to appear to have more support than the actual situation. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Tinubu Nairaland Infiltrators- Hordes Of Fake Accounts by LasgidyPort: 6:11am On Jun 02, 2022 |
I have observed a number of fake accounts lacking a personality created principally to praise Tinubu to the high heavens and as such mislead Nairaland people to think Tinubu has considerable support on the platform and in the SW. They are trying very hard to dominate all anti Tinubu discussions. Nothing bad in that actually, except that the accounts are not real people but fakes. Some of these accounts regurgitate same mundane rubbish, wandering from thread to thread. In some instances, they even slander other tribe. Pls ignore these accounts. They do not represent the peace loving Yoruba people. They are probably operated by a small team of guys put together by Tinubu or his son. Those I have encountered were created on these two dates belows:- Time registered: March 02, 2021 Time registered: February 19, 2022 As I mentioned earlier, their posting are always same robotic lines. Their aim is to dominate the 1st page of any political thread especially those concerning Tinubu. There's no point debating these fakes and slandering my peace loving Yoruba people. At the moment, as a son of the soil from Lagos, I can boldly say Tinubu does not have majority support in Yoruba land. Infact this type of cunny move is even a clear evidence of that. Check out some of the account profiles below and note the names. After this exposé, I'm sure they may abandon these accounts to open new ones or activate already created new ones they have not been using. 5 Likes
