Yes, Abia came 3rd... The SME capital of Nigeria! we'll definitely be there, if not for our misfortune in governance Abia would have been Japan (Aba)and Dubai (Umuahia ) of Africa. Come 2019 and industrialist is taking over the seat of government in the person of Uchechukwu Ogah... all I see is industrialization everywhere. 1 Share

PHILipu1: Didn't you see what OBJ did with Oputa panel and also how he fought with governors in the same party with him, not to talk of IG of police... One will think that Buhari anti corruption war will be merciless and on point but what we're seeing is a president that sprays deodorant on corruption, surrounds himself with corrupt people. No matter the weight of corruption on you immediately you enter APC you ultimately becomes a saint. |

GoTV: seriously this is the best quote you've ever said in this forum others are just hypocritical chanting of 'I'm a Christian ' nonsense you go about blabbing. It may be true that Igbos may miscalculate in politics, haven't it occur to you that Igbos are more interested in good governance than actually been involved in intensive politicking? The north that have govern this country for more than 35 years, have they fared better than the east? economically, socially and otherwise. definitely apart from them being the hot bed of looters. The west also if truth be told has not fared better than Igbos . what Igbos want is good governance... good opportunity for everyone to make their businesses work anywhere in Nigeria. funny enough if you check our spread in Nigeria you'll find out that we very very nationalistic. There is no part or cranny in this country, you won't see an Igbo man doing his business successively. We Igbos clamor for secession when we are being faced with non inclusiveness, unequal opportunities and wanton backwardness by egomaniac and clueless leaders. The issue of Restructuring is a must for every region or state to sit up to its responsibility. it will help in defining what in business we call SWOT Analysis. Igbos have been about restructuring from time in momorial, Ojukwu negotiated restructuring with Gowon in Aburi in Ghana before the civil war. please, dont mind my tone at the beginning, after penning this down I realized that neither you nor the western Yoruba nor the northern Hausa/Fulani youth is actually the problem of Nigeria. The problem is the Oligarchy as you rightly mentioned... praying that we could all come together in love and in unity. |

ipobarecriminals: I am sure you didn't see this Meanwhile, one Sulaiman Seun, 31, and Olamilekan Olaoluwa, 24, were also arrested for robbing vehicle spare parts dealers on Fashola Estate, in the Sango-Ota area of Ogun State. The CP said, “One locally-made pistol, cut-to-size gun, four wheels of a Land Rover, two tyres and two batteries were recovered from the scene of the robbery. Investigation is still ongoing with a view to arresting the other members of the gang for prosecution.” http://www.nairafame.com/2018/10/it-cannot-kill-i-also-drink-it-man.html I better be an unregistered entrepreneur awaiting my licensing than be a lazy arm robber. |

Even if govt approved 50k as minimum wage, this man's salary won't pass 65k. Civil service staff are suffering all over Nigeria. |

Now Trump called him lifeless and the Theresa May said his government has made Nigeria the biggest population of poor people. "YOU CANNOT PUT A CROWN ON A CLOWN AND EXPECT A KING...." History Being Repeated? In 1983 : $1 = N 1 £1 = N2 ; Volkswagen Beetle = N1,400 ; Food was in abundance ; Kids were in schools; Businesses were booming with vibrant economy and people were gainfully employed ; No illegal arrests or media trials ; Rule of law was maintained, etc. | | | But, on 31 December 1983, he and his group struck, under the pretence of willing to tackle "perceived" widespread corruption", and, within few months : . $1 = N15 £1 = N40 ; Volkswagen Beetle car = N8, 000 ; Kids dropped out of school because their parents couldn't afford their school fees anymore ; Businesses closed down and relocated to other countries ; Foods were rationed as people queued up for essential commodities ; Many Nigerians lost their jobs because the economy collapsed ; Innocent Nigerians were arrested for free speech and human rights violated with impunity under "Decree 4" ; The Constitution was suspended, etc. He blamed Shehu Shagari's administration for the mess. He blamed corruption, yet he jailed Dr. Alex Ekwueme (the then Vice President) but left Shehu Shagari (the President) in his palace. | | | But when another group threw him out in 1985, within few months, Nigerians started smiling again. Our kids returned to school, food was in abundance again, Nigerians got their jobs back and the economy was revived etc. | | | In 2015: . $1 = N175-190 £1 = N289-320 ; Cars were affordable, with local manufacturers smiling to the bank ; Food was in abundance (at least a bag of rice was N7, 000, etc,) ; Kids were in school ; Businesses were booming with vibrant economy rated #1 in Africa after recapitalization ; No illegal arrests or media trials ; etc. | | | On 29 May, 2015, when he was 'Jega-ed' into power : $1 = N315-510 £1 = N550-610 ; Local car manufactures shut down their plants due to harsh operating economic conditions ; Famine was unleashed on Nigerians and a bag of rice rose to N22, 000 ; Minimum wage remained N18,000 ; Kids dropped out of schools; Businesses closed down and related ; Millions lost their jobs ; Inflation is in double digits, etc. Just like in 1985, he's blaming corruption and his predecessor for the same mess he and others before him created within few months of assumption of office. We are now in 2018, eagerly awaiting 2019 : THE CHOICE IS OURS. One repeats : "YOU CANNOT PUT A CROWN ON A CLOWN AND EXPECT A KING." Very instructive! Pls share till every Nigeria sees it.
