Business › Re: Petrol Dealers: We Can’t Sell At N87 Per Litre by lastpage:
Frankiss44:
The Petroleum Dealers and Owners Association in Ondo and Ekiti States monday declared that it cannot sell fuel at the government approved price of N87 per litre.

“Rather than running our stations at a loss, since most of us are on loan from financial institutions, we have resolved not to procure the products until it is readily available at NNPC depots,” he said.
The petroleum dealers said the so-called subsidy was nothing but fraud, saying it had become a conduit pipe through which nation’s resources are being siphoned.

“Let the marketers go and source for the products, if this is done fuel cannot be up to N87 and it will further go down to about N50 due to the falling crude oil price.

“Everybody knows that kerosene is being subsidised, but how many people get it to buy at N50 per litre recommended price.
“We want members of the public to help us tell the federal government to remove the fuel subsidy so that we can sell fuel at appropriate price and remain in business. subsidy is a fraud,” Adedapo stated.

He therefore told the people of Ondo and Ekiti States to prepare for the hard times on fuel supply because they cannot sell below the cost price, saying if the landing cost from NNPC depots is N89, how would they sell at N87?
http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/petrol-dealers-we-can-t-sell-at-n87-per-litre/214534/
In other words, NNPC is selling to the Marketers at a PRICE ABOVE the "real Cost" and the marketers are passing the LOOT burden unto the final consumers? huh huh

So, #SaiBaba needs to:
1.) Ask, confirm and determine HOW MUCH NNPC is selling Petrol to the Marketers,...... with verifiable evidence!

2.) if it is actually above the recommended price (such that they can sell at #87 to the public after their own "reasonable profit"wink, then NNPC Bosses must explain WHY .......and WHERE the extra money goes into. This is economic Sabotage, to put it mildly!

3.) If it is NOT ABOVE the recommended price, then that means the Marketers are LYING and they should be dealt with resoundingly.

With the price of crude having fallen from about $100 to less than $50, there is not reason for NNPC or any source of crude not to have reduced its selling price by at least 40%.
That reduction should then have passed-on to the consumers who should have seen at least a reasonable 25% reduction in final pump price... and the marketers will still make their "reasonable profit".

It seems before now we operate a regime of GREED and IMPUNITY.

PMB, this is why we risked everything and voted you as PRESIDENT.
Please do something URGENTLY!
No excuses, we are tired of this "cabal-cabal" fleecing us and making ordinary life a hell, for Nigerians.

Be reminded Sir, that if you disappoint us, we have the Power to Vote you out in the next election, as we did the last clueless Govt.
But we are ready to give you the benefit of doubt because WE BELIEVE you are a man of Integrity.

Bank? How is this the bank's fault? Are you sure you are thinking straight? The police men in the bullion van should be held responsible
Calm down!
It s a case of "shared responsibility".

If you work for a company and in the process of doing your "assigned job", you cause harm to others, both YOU and YOUR EMPLOYERS are Liable.
Its that simple.
There is a legal term for it which l cant scoop out of my head right now.
Something like "Vicarious liability" (?)

The idea is to force employers to "properly train their employee" so that they can discharge their duties ....responsibly
Imagine how the situation would have been, if every bank "summarily sacks" every bullion van driver that does this type of thing... and then the law prosecutes the driver.
Do you think this nonsense will not be over within a few years, as the driver knows there is a job-loss and no benefit from such recklessness?
that is the point of that "shared responsibility".

The zoo in its intelligence. Just monkeys and Baboons.

Tell me why the Bullion van is driving like that.

You see them driving like mad people in New market road onitsha.

The number of near misses is astonishing.

we know you are carrying money but are you telling me that the money you are carrying is more important than the life of the civilians.

I guarantee you that Nigeria is a zoo.

Nobody uses bullion vans the way monkeys in the zoo do.

Its just money which are pieces of paper, and must not compare to human life.

quite mad.
I understand your anger and l feel it even more!
I imagine how this event will change her life DRAMATICALLY, FOREVER!
It makes me so angry!

But we must "pin-point" the problem correctly!
It is NOT NIGERIA but those who are refusing to "do their job or do it the wrong way".... after-all Nigeria is NOT A LIVING ENTITY, its just the name of a nation and it cant reason for itself.
What makes Nigeria are the people inside, YOU and ME!

When a situation is created whereby you cant seek justice for a wrong-doing whether deliberately, by omission or commission, The "PERPETRATORS of that Evil are emboldened, encouraged and IMPUNITY sets-in.

Nigeria is not responsible for that, it is the JUDGES who control the JUSTICE SYSTEM in Nigeria and we must "Name them and Shame them", on Nairaland, on Twitter, On facebook, e.t.c , until they chose to honor the "ideals and demand" of their sacred duty, as JUDGES!

If we continue to insult our country, it only makes us look bad to the civilized world..... but it does not change or solve our problem at home.

So sad!

It is just a case of ingrained lawlessness!
It has nothing to do with "TIME, DISTANCE, SECURITY or EFFICIENCY!

At times, when l factor-in "everything", l think we are at more danger, surreptitiously though, from our Nigerian Police, than from even the dreaded Boko haram!

I say this because you at least know that Boko H is a terrorist group, brain-washed to think they can impose Sharia on the whole country. That is their "clear ideology" and they are using 'mad-terror' to attempt to achieve it. God-willing and with the support of ALL Nigerians, they will be crushed.

In the case of the Nigerian Police wo/man, they are openly declared as "To Serve and to Protect"! shocked shocked
*They are funded by our Tax
*They live amongst us
*We do not harm them in anyway
*They are equipped with Guns and Ammunition from our Sweat
*YET, they unleash a "Boko Haram type" of Terror on ordinary civilians, everyday!
*They do it in broad daylight, over and over again!
*They gloat about it (something like: I will just WASTE YOU!) shocked shocked
*Even when danger comes knocking, they are quick to remove their Uniform and run away like a rabbit
*They serve the interest of their pocket and extort us daily, at every opportunity!
*They do extra-judicial killings, seize people's wealth, terrorize us and humiliate unarmed civilians

This reckless Bullion Van drivers have NEVER prevented a Bank Robbery as far as l know
-What is the "crazy and menacing driving" all about?
-Why ruin an innocent girls life, just to "show-off" (I know if they hear a gunshot at that moment, they will all abandon straight away!)

But more importantly, why has the "most-wicked and evil-hearted" arm of Government" - The JUDICIARY, abandoned its role and the Citizens?
Why is it that a Bullion Van can cause an accident, drive against traffic and kill innocent citizens, YET WE HAVE NO RECOURSE TO JUSTICE AND COMPENSATION? ..

....Because the JUDICIARY will thwart every effort to impose sanity! WHY? WHY Mr. JUDGE, do you do this?

The above is what creates, drives and perpetuates IMPUNITY within the Police and other security Forces.... or do they also have IMMUNITY?

While we blame Buhari or Jonathan for most of the woes in this country, is it not time that we THE CITIZENS, rise-up and demand JUSTICE and FAIR-PLAY from those we feed with our taxes?

History teaches us that "Nothing Good is given Freely, .....it is demanded and snatched".

Or are we THE CITIZENS only good at playing Tribal sentiments, being used as "election canon Fodder" or are we just the "simply stewpid Eediots" that we appear to be ....and the "Powers-that-be", ..think we are?

Over to you, my fellow Nigerians.

Well, that money was NOT reported as stolen, the guy involved has a "going" Company and so, at the worst case, he should have transferred it through a bank but we all know that due to the ridiculous forex exchange rate given in banks, people prefer to deal in cash, when it comes to Forex.

I have bought forex from mallam right INSIDE a bank and it was even the bank staff that directed me to him.
Banks make money by collecting forex from CBN at the lower "official rate" and then selling it (through third parties like the forex Mallams) at a higher black market rate.

Its called Round-tripping, though wrong but it sis not biggie.

The perm secs CAN NEVER replace the FEC meetings. The earlier, the better.
I guess you missed the "Debriefing meeting" PMB had with the Perm Secs of ALL the Ministries, YESTERDAY?

That is nothing different, if not better, than the FEC Meetings.

I posit that the Perm Secs are even more intelligent and aware of the situation that some "Politically appointed, come and chop" Minister who is just there to see how much he can loot from the Ministry's allocation.

*He replaced military check-points with Police so that he can free the military to fight the war and you'all started saying he allowed Boko access and freedom! Are u all that daft?

*He moved some of the less dangerous prisoners to Anambra but out of tribal sentiments, you all could not see that concentrating those prisoners in one place means it is easier for BH to mount "one operation" to free them and they have more operatives to carry out suicide bombing? Dont you people have a brain to use at all?

*Once somebody like FFK whom we all know is a senseless Dog says something that is against Buhari, you all applaud him, just to prove that a senseless, "enemy of your enemy" like FFK.... is your friend! Is that all you can do?

* You all pretend like you dont know that our Security forces have a tendency to arrest "anyone in sight" even when it is obvious that the real criminals are long gone. So, you dont expect those whose innocent kids are arrested in place of B-haram terrorists to speak up and demand their release? Agreed there are "fanatics" amongst Muslims, especially in the north but that does not make all of them fanatics or B-haram sponsors. Or are you telling me everyone in the NDelta is a militant or every Ibo person a Kidnapper and Drug pusher?

*You think making this war on Boko haram a case of "Jonathan/PDP Supporters" versus "Buhari/APC Supporters" will get you anywhere? Just wait until the bombing reaches your backyard before you know that we all need to put our heads together and offer useful suggestions to the President, to tackle the problem.

*None of you brainless Eediots are even sensible enough to ask yourself "How did this Boko problem start"...so you can map out a way forward. All you are concerned about is how to bring down a democratically elected Govt simply because the President is not from your tribe. Silly Bigots!

FFK may have scored some cheap points among people whom he knows have little capacity for reasoning but he is doing it for selfish reasons otherwise, if he is patriot, he would offer SOLUTIONS for solving the problem rather than just this "playing to the gallery" so that he can become relevant...... though just among Ibos anyway.

And let me add: Ministers are just "Political Appointees" whose job is just to convey the instructions of the President, to the Head of Ministries they oversee. The people who do the real work in a Ministry are the Permanent Secretaries. They are "permanent' as their name suggests and are career civil servants. Ministers cost us a lot of money with little benefit.

If Buhari thinks for now, going by the amount of rot in the system, that it is better to allow the career civil servants to oversee the rot and recover their Ministries, why not let us allow him to try-out this method for sometime, instead of wailing and mocking like pigs?
It is Ministers that really loot the Ministries as we all know because they just "come and go" being Political appointees,.... unlike career civil servants who have their "career and pension" to worry about

Buhari as l see it, is trying out something new, these needs time to show result. There is always "the Storm" before "the calm", which is what we are experiencing now but all these little kids with free MTN Data should shut their mouth and let us hear word.

Americans didn't vote out their government or accuse it of been the sponsors of those group but you guys back here blamed, insulted and voted out Jonathan.... Why would anyone not expect the one you guys gave the country to resolve the issue, as promised?

And what on earth entitles Buhari to an insult free reign and Jonathan, otherwise?
All you these go-Slow Gala Sellers that get free MB from MTN don come again? shocked shocked shocked

America voted out George W Bush and his Republican Party simply because of that war... and replaced them with President Obama and his Democrats.

You can believe what want or say what you want
Can you show me a country that had ever been rid of insurgency it never happens because the force driving it is more than humans can fathom. Believe it or not the one world religion is being actualized everyday and it seems we are blind towards that. And also ask yourself why buhari defeated that muslim sect during his previous reign even though we had less sophiscated weapon than now and we even have backing of civillian jtf and foreign soldiers .I wish we would open our eyes
Back then, we did not have these "Ibo Wailing-Mockers" distracting him all over the place within TWO DAYS of being President!
That is why.

PMB has done it before and #InTheFullnessOfTime, ....he will do it again.

We voted him-in, We have faith in his abilities.

#Wailers and #Mockers can kontinue!

On June 3 2015 I shared a vision the Lord showed me on facebook and other social medias, how Buhari will aid Bokoharam. 19 days after the prophecy, June 22 2015 Buhari removed military checkpoints all over the nation, opening the North up for bokoharam for blood bath. Bokoharam which was pushed to sambisa forest under Jonathan last days in office. Now have access to Kano, Zaria, Jos, Kaduna, Borno etc. (Check your news for latest bombings). Well meaning Nigerians should stand up for Nigeria and the innocent, workers union NLC, TUC etc should join hands and speak up to save Nigeria enough should be enough, those who can pray should get down on their kneels to pray.
See another Agent of Satan and their fake "Fision"
That is how many of you said "god told you" that "gate of hell will open" if Buhari wins election!

You are not different from Tompolo, the Creek Militant.

#InTheFullnessOfTime, God has exposed all of you! tongue tongue

Go and ask your Bishop Ole-depo and Ayo Oritshejafor that shared Jonathan's #6Billion loot

Anyone who believes things are going to get better is a fool and needs to be flogged learn from the experiences of other countries but one thing am sure of is that this is an expired country and what is happening is as a result of that. You cant get a new wine from an old bottle. The blood of those three million igbos will not go unavenged as long as the law of karma exists.
Sharrap joor, Those ones committed SUICIDE by following that egocentric Ojukwu on his foolish escapades, as we have seen in #TheFullnessOfTime!

Nigeria as a country has nothing to do with it.

Just like another 5Million followed a dead Jonathan into the grave, literally, in the last 2015 elections and will now be WAILING AND MOCKING,
.... for the next 8years!

Whose fault is it that Ibos suffer from "Herd Mentality", huh?
