harmbhrosz:You see, your remarks just confirmed that you left your brains behind on your pillow, when you decided to hit your keyboard. Each time, I ask you a question you refuse to answer it, and prefer to take refuge in banalities. Each time I offer you a piece of advice, you ignore it, and decide to behave like a comedian. Your actions are so pathetic. Go back and read y previous post again. Each of the local government areas in Ogun state, comprise of different communities. And each of those communities have several different roads. My advice was that Amosun could have opted to construct, repair or upgrade one road in each of the local government areas, in order to ensure that fairness, equal development and proper representation. This would help to spread government impact across all those areas, since he got votes from each of those local governments. ![]() Now, Amosun was not elected to govern only Abeokuta and Sagamu in Ogun state, was he? You have not been able to answer that question till date. You have also not been able to address any of the information provided to you as regarding taxes, in Ogun state. Now who really is the foo'l here, if not you? Let me repeat my advice to you: Go back to school. Your cluelessness is just too glaring. ![]() |
writeprof:Are you saying UNN is not a federal university? |
harmbhrosz:I have just shown you in black and white how much Ogun state made from tax for 2016 and 2017. 72 billion naira, is not small money. Those taxes did not come from ghosts. But for people like you, no matter how many times the truth is displayed before you, you would refuse to accept it and continue to wallow in falsehood. It is not my concern how many business centres you own. Nobody asked you for such details. If you do not pay your tax in Nigeria, you are a defaulter. You even had the guts to use Canada as an example, yet in Nigeria you are one of those who fail to file tax returns. and you are even trying to defend and justify your non-compliance, with the local tax laws. Can you see how crooked you are? You think demand notice is the only tax you should pay? Can you see how clueless you sound? So you have not heard of PAYE, WHT, VAT etc? Go to the local tax office in Sagamu, to declare your assets and income, and pay the proper tax. VAIDS scheme is even available, to make it easier for you. You can also file tax returns online. Get a Tax Identification Number or TIN, and follow the proper process. Many self-employed people have done so, so you have no excuse. Finally, this topic is about Ogun State so focus on that, and stop digressing like a rabbit. If you want to know the last time I protested about killings in the North, then kindly check through all my posts on NL. You will see the details right there, on other threads. Now stop whining, and go back to school to study what governance means. For the record, I never told you whether I was a Southerner or Northerner or Middle belter. So stop making unfounded assumptions. Assumption is the mother of all fvck ups. |
vosquare:Help me ask dem, o! |
harmbhrosz:I know nothing about governance? See who is talking. Mr. Harmbhrosz the self-employed man that defaults on his taxes, and cannot recognise the fact that good governance includes fairness, equal representation and development, as well as accountability to the people? I no wan laugh too much this night, abeg! ![]() You, that believes Sagamu and Abeokuta is the beginning and end of Ogun state? You the same sycophant, that believes Nigerians do not pay taxes, yet the same Nigerians who do not pay taxes contributed tax of over 72 billion naira to Ogun state govt, in 2016? Abeg, just swerve!

Deo1986: Deo1986:You are right! ![]() |
harmbhrosz:See the kind of myopic response you gave? So when an area votes a person into power as governor, and the roads in that area are dilapidated, he is NOT meant to fix it? So you see repairs of roads by a governor as a reward, instead of his civic duty which he is meant to perform, by virtue of his office? You just proved that you are synonymous with mediocrity. Go back to school, please. |
yeyerolling:What about the DISCOs that owe customers who have paid for pre-paid meters, for months on end? What about DISCOs that slam post-paid customers with outrageous estimated bills which are not commensurate with their consumption? What about DISCOs that post staff who have Ph.D in rudeness, insults and aggression to their front desk to attend to customers? When are you going to talk about these issues? |

harmbhrosz:Your post shows that your entire knowledge of Ogun State, is limited to Sagamu and Abeokuta. There are over 20 local government areas in Ogun state from Ewekoro, to Ifo, Ikpokia, Odogbolu, Ogun waterside, etc. Out of the 20 local govt areas, Amosun has only provided infrastructure in less than 5, and you feel he is an excellent performer? Is 5 out of 20 considered a pass mark, in your view? Why are you people so satisfied with mediocrity in that axis? Like I asked you before: "Did people from other local govt areas NOT vote for Amosun in the last election? So why has he deprived them of good infrastructure?" You have stylishly dodged this question, and refused to answer it. If he decided to construct one major road in each local govt area, would it not make more sense, and ensure development is spread more evenly across the state? Or in your own view, Ogun state begins and ends in Sagamu and Abeokuta? Now, if you are self-employed but do not pay taxes, then you are one of the people spoiling this country. Being self-employed does not give you an excuse, to avoid taxes. I know several self-employed people that pay taxes at all levels of their operation. From VAT on their inputs and finished products, to Withholding tax (WHT) on their services, as well as PAYE on their staff salaries, they do pay tax. So if you are one of the defaulters, do not judge others through your warped lens of non-compliance, please! Everyone is not the same.Like I said before, the 4 trillion naira that FIRS collected as taxes last year, did not come from ghosts or spirits, o! Go and check! In 2016, Ogun state government recorded the third highest internally generated revenue (IGR), among the 36 states, following after Lagos and Rivers State. Part of that IGR was generated from taxes. Those taxes were not paid by aliens or ghosts.....so stop generalising.Ogun state government has been rated as the state with the third highest internally generated revenue (IGR), among the 36 states in 2016. The state trails Lagos state which occupied the first position and Rivers state, in the second position. Ogun state in 2016, recorded an improved IGR of N 72, 983, 120, 003:85k. The breakdown of the IGR include N24.2 billion from Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE), N1.8 billion from direct taxes, N364 million from road taxes, as well as, N6.43 billion from other taxes and N4, 218, 549, 061 from other revenue. http://www.rockcityfmradio.com/ogun-state-records-third-highest-igr-among-36-states-2016/ |
ZombieTAMER:I have prayed for their safe return...! Just tell Aisha not to waste Nigerian tax payers money on a fruitless campaign! Boko Haram is not deterred by campaigns. |
There are many other powerful women in the Bible. What about Jael who was mentioned in the Book of Judges in the Bible, as the one who killed Sisera in order to deliver Israel from the troops of King Jabin? And what about Deborah who was a prophet of the Lord God of the Israelites, the fourth Judge of Israel, the only female judge mentioned in the Bible, and the wife of Lapidoth? ![]() As well as Zipporah wife of Moses, who used a blood ritual of cutting the foreskin, to successfully defend her husband and son, against the angel of death? Zipporah, is heroic, "decisive, fearless, strong, the competent person in an emergency," who despite being the pagan daughter of a priest, stood up to God's angel, and saved Moses as well as her son, by performing the act of circumcision that warded off death from their household. |
ZombieTAMER:So, you honestly think her campaign to prevent abduction of girls, will have an effect upon Boko haram that has been kidnapping those girls? Tell the truth and let the devil be ashamed, o! |
I used to like this woman. But not anymore. Instead of merely launching a campaign against abductions of girls, she should be raising a campaign to get the girls back, from those who abducted them!! Why is that so hard for her to do? ![]() |
writeprof:See how patronising you sound. So UNN in Nsukka with its tons of only Igbo lecturers in many departments, is not turning into an ethnic-based university? |
ofai:Oga, go back and read what you wrote again in your previous posts, and stop contradicting yourself. ![]() |
UkpabiSun:Bros, you sabi dat area very well. Yet, some members of Amosun's supporters club like harmbhrosz, believe that governance begins and ends in Abeokuta and Shagamu. So in their view, Amosun is an excellent performer. Nansense! ![]() |
ibotic:I did not insult you, I merely offered you some advice. The costs for diesel (including its' transportation) were all factored into the final sales price of diesel. And the final sales price of diesel was used in Ettu's analysis. Logistics & transportation are not paid separately by end users, in the oil industry. It is in-built into the final sales figure. That is why you pay 200 naira to 250 naira per litre, for diesel. No additional fee, applies! You are the one coming up with imaginary additional costs, that do not exist. |
harmbhrosz:Oh, we do not pay tax in Nigeria? Then please tell us how Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) made 4 trillion naira from taxes, in 2017. Your response shows that you have never worked in a structured corporate organisation before, otherwise you would not repeat this falsehood. Every corporate sector worker pays PAYE to state govt, which is deducted directly from their salaries every month. Many people like me have valid tax clearance cards, to show for it. Then our organisations pay corporate income tax, education tax and all sorts. So stop making ridiculous assertions, that portray you as clueless! In your view, I guess it was ghosts that paid FIRS that 4 trillion naira....Do you know how much state govts and local govts make from the multiple taxes and levies they charge, all over the states? From signboard levy to PAYE, to environmental levy and other sorts of fees, they reap huge sums from the populace. But the sad thing is that it goes into private pockets of some of these officials. After Lagos state, Ogun state plays host to one of the highest number of industries. Tell us, what Amosun did with all the taxes he collected from them? Were those taxes meant to be spent on only a few communities in Ogun state? It is people like you that give governors and elected officials a false sense of achievement. Since you feel that he did very well in Shagamu and Abeokuta, tell him to stay in Sagamu & Abeokuta, when the next election year comes round in 2019. He should not go to other local govt areas in Ogun state, to canvas for votes since he did NOTHING in their areas. Even within Agbara with all the industries there that pay all sorts of taxes, he has failed to fix their roads or improve their infrastructure. I guess those people made a huge mistake in voting for him initially. Was Amosun elected to govern just Sagamu & Abeokuta only, or just a section of Ogun state? Nansense. ![]() |
ibotic:Keep quiet, because you are sounding like a dummy. Cost of diesel includes the cost of trucking it to the destination!! Do you even know how the final cost for diesel is arrived at? There is a template used to calculate final cost, to the consumer! When you go to buy diesel at the petrol station, are you asked to pay for cost of trucking and drivers separately? please you are educated, so try to stop sounding like an illiterate! |
harmbhrosz:Guy, cut the crap. Amosun has only tried within Abeokuta alone. Did the people of Otta, Ijebu-Ode, Mowe, Ogijo, Agbara etc not vote for him, too? How would he have felt, if on the election day, people within those areas told him to go and sit down, and wait for his successors to come before they think of voting for him? Was he voted into power to cater for only Abeokuta and one or two areas, in Ogun state? You sef, check am nah! Or don't the people of Agbara etc pay taxes to Amosun's govt? What are they being used for? |
ofai:Really? Is that what you think, or what you were told? |
Adedamola8193:What does being the first governor or last governor of Ogun state, have to do with anything? Does Ogun state begin and end in Abeokuta? What about other local govt areas of Ogun state? Don't their roads deserve any attention? |
ofai:Why do you keep getting things muddled up? Kindly try to stick to the original topic. You were the one who asserted that Njoku's selection was based on the fact that he was a botanist, and you tried to link it to Nigeria's economy which was agriculture. Or have you forgotten your fallacious reasoning? |
ofai:Meaning...? ![]()
|
metronaija: omololu2020:Is this not the same Amosun that has refused to construct the Ijebu-Ode to Epe link road? Or isn't this the same Amosun that refused to construct the Otta to Mowe trunk road? ![]() |

Quality20:Don't be ignorant, because it doesn't suit you. Bello is your representative, right? What has he represented, so far? He has turned Kogi from a peaceful state with potentials, to an impoverished den of anarchy, poverty, insecurity, cluelessness and want. State govt workers are being owed arrears of salaries, no new infrastructural project has been completed since he got to power, and then he witch hunts those who criticise his policies. Do you know how many civil servants have committed suicide under Bello's watch? |
DollarAngel:Exactly! I admire her ability to take stock of her life, and battle the odds to come out stronger on top. It is not easy to be a single mother of not just one, but two kids. Especially when the father of those two kids is nothing but a rambling casanova, that could not keep his trousers, zipped. God turned her story around. She learnt from her mistakes and sought God's mercy. He then took her mess, and made a great message out of it. Now, she has moved on with her life. I admire the Pastor who married her. He must be a man of sound principles, deep compassion, open minded with great mental strength, and a heart full of love. I wish Sumbo the very best of every good thing, she desires from the Almighty. ![]() As for Sophie Momodu that Davido's baby mama, I feel sorry for her. She has not learnt anything from her mistakes, and is unwilling to make progress with her life. Let her keep deceiving herself in one corner, waiting for Davido who is busy making waves with his latest catch - Chioma. Some women will never cease to amaze me with their cluelessness... |
oyatz:Teach who a lesson? Are you talking about the same police that is quick to arrest whoever pays the highest amount of money at its station, first? It depends on the family sef. You cannot pull such stunts, with some families. They have relatives that are policemen, lawyers etc., who will take up the case, and they will not have to spend a penny in legal fees! ![]() |
