Since electricity was dropped into my estate on Lagos-Ibadan expressway over 7 months ago, I have not used my generator more than 5 times. Although I use inverter to supplement, it is still electricity that charges it.

Cost of buying fuel has drastically dropped from an average of #17k monthly. In the 7 months, I've only bought #4k fuel.
**Note that the #17k is for running the generator 2 hours daily. Any usage outside the 2 hrs is additional cost.

I use prepaid meter and watching my energy consumption, I use an average of #9k monthly on electricity which is way better than the amount I used to run my generator devoid of the attendant noise.

I and an elderly friend were invited by the owner of a club to come chill with him one Thursday, as we all sat at a Henessy branded table, a group of yahoo boys came into the club and strayed into the vip, some minutes later one of them came out and went straight to the club manager and slammed 100k on his hands that they need the henessy table we were seating on that he should evacuate all the men on Henessy table. When the manager told the club owner he was so furious that he threw those rude squirrels out of his club. Every yahoo boy thats being hunted down today deserves the extortion from SARS and EFCC. You can not have them as fellow tenants and have peace. Some of them that cant even write down their names came to lodge at a hotel close to my house and payed for 6 months but after 2 weeks the owner of the hotel had to go and call SARS to come and throw them all out of his hotel cause the animals wey using his very expensive duvets to put out lights of cigarettes and igbo they were smoking. The poor man spent a whole lot of money buying new sets.

I see no big deal here. Age is really not a barrier when it comes to matters of the heart. Younger guys tend to be more active and they carry less emotional baggage. Older women like Tiwa carry substance and also have a relaxed attitude about life. Secondly, they are celebrities for crying out loud, they live for the controversies.

For me, I prefer older women. They know themselves, they have so much more to offer and they are looking for different things. They are not just looking for guys who will be good fathers and providers, they are more clear and focused. It's kind of a personality thing for me regarding what is attractive. I enjoy a confident attitude and older women definitely have the upper hand in that.

Ikeja – A 63-year-old businessman, Austen Akinwuronu, who allegedly obtained the ATM card pin of a man fraudulently and withdrew N173,000 from his account, was on Monday brought before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court.
World’s first ATM machine turns to gold on 50th birthday The accused was arraigned before the Magistrate, Mrs B.O. Osunsanmi, on a two-count charge of fraud and stealing.
Akinwuronu, who resides at Ejigbo, a Lagos suburb, however, pleaded not guilty and was admitted to a bail of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
Osunsanmi said the sureties should be gainfully employed with an evidence of two years tax payment to the Lagos State Government.
The prosecution had told the court that the accused committed the offences on Feb. 6 at Iyana-Ipaja in the suburb of Lagos as he defrauded the complainant, Mr Anayochukwu Ojor, of N173,000.
ASP Ezekiel Ayorinde said the complainant ignorantly sent his Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) card number to the accused when he received a text from the accused that his Bank Verification Number (BVN) had been blocked.
“The accused sent a message to the complainant that his BVN had been blocked and that he should send his ATM pin so that it can be rectified.
“The complainant, who was not aware of the fraud being perpetrated by the accused, thought that the message was from his bank.
“He quickly sent his ATM pin and after few seconds, he received debit alert of N173,000 from his bank,” he said.
Ayorinde said the account name and number of the receiver of the N173, 000 was traced, tracked and the accused was arrested.
The offences contravened Sections 287 and 315 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 (Revised).
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Section 287 stipulates three years imprisonment for stealing, while Section 315 prescribes 15 years jail term for fraud.
The magistrate adjourned the case until July 7. (NAN)
