But why is Japan 2 months behind in watching this movie and many more movies released in December? It doesn't make sense watching it in cinemas when the clear HD version is out.

This is great news. By my estimations, it should have touched close to $1.2bn by now if the release date for Japan was in January.

Due to Aquaman's success, watch out how Disney/ Marvel will now be so desperate, desperate to control the superhero genre that they will be ready to do anything including playing dirty. WB/DC should better watch out.
Their desperation can be seen in their move to acquire Fox which will give them the right of ownership over the X-men and Fantastic Four Franchises. Excessive control.
Their desperation and willingness to play dirty can also be seen in their action in moving Avengers: Endgame to the same month Shazam is releasing. What the hell are these guys aiming at. WB/DC should better put on their A-game. Whatever game Disney/ Marvel wants to play, Shazam will be a hit in terms of box office returns, I don't know for critical review.

Aquaman has done it's part, it has made the DCEU proud, it's time for you, Shazam to do yours, make us proud. Don't disappoint.

Here me, all yea universe, haters and trollers, Shazam will be a Box office success grossing over $500M. I say so, Xavier says so, Xavier5 says so.

It should be sitting at least $920m by the end of today.

It still has one week and five days left (including another weekend) before Glass drops on January 18th.

Plenty of time to add at least $80m to hit that Wan billion mark.

Even though grossing speed is getting slower, this movie still manages to earn $100m+ every week.
It was $748m last Sunday.
