What autonomy is needed is real democracy at LG level so that opposition can win some seats. If they don't give you your allocation, you can always go to court. Then where the FG needs to step in is in not releasing allocations to states stifling democracy at LG level. Then there is no need for the FG to be conducting LG elections. States should continue. Let contestants go and gird their loins

The name of the man on whom Christianity was founded was not Jesus Christ. He was Isa bin Pantheras. No one was ever named Jesus Christ. The man was a Jewish nationalist who did not like Gentiles. He had no Gentile disciple and did not befriend them. He founded a Jewish sect not Christianity. It was Apostle Paul that started converting Gentiles that can be referred to as the founder. He founded something similar to JW. I agree on that. It was the Romans that founded the global thing we have today. They converted many at sword point and indoctrination took over

Is Islam Arab culture?.

People like saying Islam is the culture of Arabs when Arabs before Mohammed were no different from other people across the world. They had a chief deity called Allah and an uncountable other lesser deities just like the Yoruba for instance have Olodumare. Islam is like a mega sect of Christianity because Mohammed, because of his belief in the virgin birth and prophet hood of Jesus Christ was obviously converted by Christians including his first wife who was a Catholic. Islam happened when Mohammed added his own to what he got from Christians. It is not a culture of Arabs. Mohammed is not much different from the founders of the Mormon church or the Jehovah witness who all got Christianity from other people and created their own sects. How he is different from them may be that he led a fighting force or army when alive. What Mohammed added to Christianity are some cultures of his own people to make it easier to convert them. Thus was the foundation of Islam.

Before religions were invented, each nation had its own theology and they are peers of each other. No group was saying they are the only way and killing and hating over that. We just need to go back to those good old days and like I said, practitioners should belong to chartered bodies that have teachable methodology eg divination

The minimum we should ask for while fighting against religion

We that are fighting against the onslaught of religion on humanity must be clear about what we want. What we want should be the disestablishment of Christianity and Islam. They should not be allowed to own buildings and hire people. They have done enough harm to the society since Apostle Paul started preaching to Gentiles in the first century. All practicing spiritualists must belong to chartered bodies and have teachable methodology. Islam and Christianity have done enough harm and they should be swept into the dustbin of history. We should spread the mantra 'God is not against idolatry but only against evil doing'. A parent can never tell a child 'Never greet my subordinates'.

People like comparing GDP to net worth. GDP is not comparable to net worth. GDP is like returns on investment. For something to have a GDP of 100 billion dollars then it maybe worth twenty times that if we assume 5 percent returns on investment

If the thing is being done properly, there will be no need to waste money on population census. One thing that needs to be added is the deletion of dead people and that can be done by asking for NIN at mortuaries.

I am not supporting the herdsmen but finding a way forward. The killing is no longer one way as over the past week, two cattle breeders leaders were assassinated by unknown gunmen in Kwara and plateau states. One does not need to be told that some group of aggrieved farmers are taking vengeance on the herders. A way out must be fashioned out, otherwise the needless waste of lives will continue

Let us end the bloodletting between herders and farmers.

Killings by herdsmen followed by reprisals by farmers without any recourse to the police is now becoming the norm in Nigeria. It has become a vicious cycle with no end in sight and corpses are piling up.
Everybody seem to know by now that ranching of cattle is the only way out to stop the unnecessary waste of lives but the gray area to be sorted out is where to site the ranches. It is clear by now that the people generally will not allow the federal or state governments to take over lands for distribution or allocation to herders. Whether in the North or the South, herders have to sort out themselves. We have indigent Fulani in Yoruba land for instance and they will find space or land in Yoruba land, North and South because they have always been there. It is the same way it should be for all Fulani. In fact, all of them can ranch their cattle in the North and purchase vehicles to be gathering hay for them from all over Nigeria. It is not a difficult task at all and it is the only way out.
Herders should be given a deadline after which open grazing will be banned and any cattle found grazing openly will become government property. The law can be made by the federal government or individual states.There are replicas of such a law across the world and Nigeria will not be the first to pass the law.
The government can give the herders one year to sort themselves out. It is the only way to end the needless bloodletting. When cattle are not grazed all over the place but fed and watered on one spot they will grow faster on less feed.

The loss in value of Nigerian pension funds

The pension fund in Nigeria has lost a large portion of its value due to the devaluation of the Naira. How can such losses be mitigated against in future?. It is no small deal to wake up and find half of your life savings wiped off.

The people have spoken and the FG should back off. If they are serious about the whole "farmer-herder" crisis - like, is it even farmer-herder clashes, when it is the herders who are always trespassing and committing mass murders? - and think they need to get involved, they should:
1. Ban herding and proscribe the herders national association and its members as terrorists
2. Go after the criminal herders and treat them like the criminals they are.

It is many people's source of livelihood and it must therefore be done with caution. They must call them to.meetings which will lead to a deadline for them to sort themselves out even if only to withdraw gradually and build their ranches in the North. There is nothing wrong with building ranches in the North where they have land. They can still get fodder from anywhere. It will be wrong to approach them like criminals. There must be a long enough deadline that they subscribe to

The only way out to stop the killings is ranching. You don't have to give out your lands. You can get into the business with partnerships. The Fulani are entrenched in it and it is good to put them into consideration too. When everybody has agreed that ranching is the way out, then the people roaming about with cattle will be given a deadline to sort themselves out. They can set up anywhere once they have trucks to gather hay to the ranches. If a family have just one hundred heads of cattle, that is a fairly big business.

Then start your cattle ranches by yourself or partner with Fulanis. Ranching is the only way to stop the killings and reprisals between farmers and herders.
