loveth360: A simple question for you.
If he was not one of the targets of northern soldiers, why was he killed when they could have just killed their target and left, did Fajuyi confront them on gun battle and was killed, why northern soldiers Killed him when the could have gone with only ironsi?
The lies that he asked Northern soldiers to kill him doesn't make sense, and is already stale.
Even Fajuyi sons can't prove the lies you people have been propagating for years. I don't understand your argument. Would Fajuyi be the first person to be killed in a coup who was not a target? Wives of politicians and wives of military officers have been killed in coups for obstructing the mutineers but it is only Ironsi an officer that was armed that is a surprise to you? |

MaxInDHouse: Let's see which makes sense between your beliefs and mine.
You agree that there are spirits that are MANAGING or CONTROLLING humans the difference here is God's word says they are evil spirits but you says they are your higher self. So why is it that these so called "higher selves" failed to help their subjects live or cohabit peacefully without having to raise weapons against one another? Revelation 6:3-4 Do you think your higher self just love to see you kill or get killed by others?🙂
This is what Jesus God's only begotten Son said on the topic:
"You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a murderer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of the lie." John 8:44
Do you still think there is no evil spirit behind all these killings around the world?🙂 All evil are initiated and perpetrated by people on incarnation but those people have spirits. Their spirits however are not evil spirits. Your spirit will go an extra mile to help you even when you are doing evil. This does not mean that your spirit is evil. If you however do evil repeatedly for a number of times, your spirit will be knocked out of existence. Here on Earth, we can hide things from ourselves but in heaven it is not possible and because of this evil isn't possible in heaven |

Secondly, all ancestor-worshipping societies were conquered and colonized Every normal human being believe spirits exist even if only in paradise which is why you believe Jesus is God or that you are going to heaven. People worship ancestors all over the world. You are now saying not many of them? |

The coup plotters saw an opportunity and they took it. They might have even killed Ironsi in the North or Lagos or anywhere. I'm sure they didnt choose Ibadan because of what you are saying because it is all conjectures I have actually read a book whose author I can't remember now where at the planning stage, the Northerners said the head of state must not be killed in the North but in Ibadan. They chose Ibadan deliberately because Ironsi's office was not in Ibadan. They saw an opportunity and they took it or they waited for him to have an engagement in Ibadan? |

God told the first human couple not to think of setting standards among themselves but to rely solely on God's standard adding that if they do He will remove the power that sustains them to keep on living and they will die! Genesis 2:17 They disobeyed anyway and from that time till today humans were exposed to attack from rebellious angels and their agents among us. That is why there are those claiming Gods both in heaven and on earth! 1Corinthans 8:5 But the one and only true God declared that He will see to it that all those claiming deities will die whether they are humans or spirits! Psalms 82:6 Your own spirit for instance can not be forcing itself on you. It is your higher self. It is your manager. shortgun: You are confusing yourself by raising completely different issues and trying to merge them just to score cheap points.
First, during an active war, every breakaway state in history has issued its own currency as a measure of sovereignty. It didn’t start with Biafra......Biafra was blockaded and cut off from Nigeria’s financial system, it could not operate using federal currency. So issuing the Biafran pound was a wartime necessity. Economic activities had to continue.
Second, the matter of post-war currency was not handled by Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu or by Biafra. After the war ended, the £20 policy was introduced by the federal government under Yakubu Gowon. It was a flat £20 compensation for all Easterners, regardless of how much money anyone had in the bank. That was how they stole all the money belonging to Eastern people in banks across Nigeria. If you truly care about how Igbos and other tribes in the Eastern Region lost their money then hold the government responsible and leave Ojukwu alone. If your grievance is about non-refund or unfair compensation direct it to the Nigerian state that designed and implemented that wicked, oppressive financial policy to impoverish Easterners.
Third, Ojukwu did not take anyone’s money because the money belonging to Easterners was stored in Nigerian banks and later stolen by the government. Most people who fled government sanctioned massacres across Nigeria returned home empty-handed. Those who tried to return with any money were looted on their way back. So where exactly did they get the money you claim Ojukwu collected from them? Taking anybody's balance in the bank can not make them poor. If they take your balance in the bank today, will you become a poor man as a result? Awolowo went overboard trying to be nice to Igbos and all he got was more attacks from them. There was no need to give any money to anybody after the war as he did not collect money from anybody. If Igbo account holders were not given any money at all, they would have counted their losses and moved on but because they were given money, they turned it into an opportunity to be abusing Awo. If you think twenty pounds was small money in 1970, find out how much they were selling a brand new car in 1970 and get back to me. |

But to avoid confronting north because of fear, Yorubas changed the narrative claiming he asked Northern soldiers for to kill him together.
But let assume it was true, will you yorubas believe that Fajuyi asked to be killed too if he was killed by Igbos soldiers?
Won't you asked even if he requested that, must you kill him.
There is no record he died fighting for the so called Igbo Man,so how is it hard for Northern soldiers to kill their target and leave.
Assuming na northern soldiers told you people this,so you believe it without asking questions? What you are saying is that they came there planning to kill him because he participated in the coup and that it was just a coincidence that they also came to kill Ironsi. You may also say that he did not object to the counter coupists assassinating the head of state in the government house of the western region? He did not object at all. He agreed but yet he was killed? It is really unfortunate. If you say this in public, I would take you to court and extract money from you if I were Col Fajuyi's son. Christianity Etc › Why Do We Have Deities? by lawani(op): 1:44pm On Mar 01 |
Why do we have deities?
We have deities because spirits outrank each other just like human beings outrank each other. There are fully matured spirits and there are spirits not yet fully matured. There are spirits that take tax from other spirits and they are the Olori Egbe or primary protector and these have male incarnations. There are also fully matured spirits who are members of the God grid and these have female incarnations. The primary protectors liaise directly with the God grid and there is no force on Earth that can stand in the way of the God grid. Any spirit can help you if you call upon them including immature spirits, it is only that fully matured spirits have more connections, knowhow and experience. Even among fully matured spirits, those who have been in existence for hundreds of thousands of years know themselves and are comrades because of that. The community in heaven is one but on Earth you can only incarnate into your own family. It is therefore possible for a spirit incarnating into a line in an uncontacted tribe to be friends with a spirit incarnating in any other place and etc. Spirits can help you, there is therefore nothing wrong in calling upon them for help. They have connection and can help anybody. Your own spirit while tending to you, can hear a call from a descendant that is also alive and on an incarnation and help them. That is how it is. |

happney65: And that is the lie they have told you over the years. Fajuyi didnt lie down his life. He was penciled down by the July coup plotters to revenge the January killings.
As written by Adewale Ademoyega, one of the major coup plotters of the January coup. The July plotters already penciled Fajuyi down to be killed as they thought he was among the planners of January coup. He was named and called "Action grouper" by the July coupisrs and that was why they took both him and Ironisi along.
However Fajuyi knew about the coup but he wasnt a participant as he was away out of the country when the coup took place.
Btw,How can he even stop Danjuma and his group from taking Ironisi? When they were fully armed. So that lies that he lay his life for Ironsi isnt true. Yet if he did not resist you will be the first one to call him a betrayal or a coward. The Northerners planned to kill Ironsi in Ibadan in order to implicate the Yoruba. They could have killed him in Kaduna but they chose Ibadan to implicate the Yoruba. If they had killed Ironsi in Lagos or Kaduna would Fajuyi still have been killed? Fajuyi simply sacrificed himself because of the honor of his people but you are free to paint him otherwise, it does not remove anything from his sacrifice. He insisted that Ibadan was the wrong place to come and kill Ironsi and he was killed by the counter coupist for that |

People will always travel and our parents were travelling when the country was well run. If there is an opportunity for you abroad, you must go, foreigners come here too because of opportunity but the thing is that travelling costs money and that money if invested here can also secure anyone's future. Also, there is poverty in all countries, it is just different types. If you are on food stamps, it is poverty, if you are homeless, it is poverty and etc. You can't call all that abundance. So there is no perfect country. Ghana is exporting up to ten billion dollars worth of farm produce. RSA is exporting fifteen billion dollars worth. This means Nigeria could have been exporting fifty billion dollars worth or more. Think of how many HNIs will exist in the agric sector if that were the case. Think of other sectors that will be propped up. People leaving the country cause poverty too because if they remained they would be forced to grow the GDP but everybody can not remain. Therefore just leave people to follow their path as what worked for you may not work for everybody |

edcas: Jesus never used any form of magical powers or charms to perform miracles. The turning of water into wine, feeding the multitude with five loafs of bread and two fishes, or any other miracle was made possible by the divine power that is Him (Jesus). Let it be known to you that no magical power or charm can withstand the power of Jesus, because the power and authority in Jesus can silence any magical power or charm. The Bible says, "At the mention of the name of Jesus, ...... every knee must bow" (Phil. 2:10-11). Jesus Himself said, "All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me" (Matthew 28:18).
Christianity may be seen as a foreign religion, but the gospel of Jesus Christ is not foreign to any culture because Jesus Himself commanded that this gospel be preached to the uttermost part of the earth (cf Acts 1: . So if you want to be a Christian, be careful to follow His teachings, and avoid any practice that is not in alignment or agreement with the teachings of Jesus. Jesus was a magician or where do you draw the line between magic and miracle and which spiritual power is not from God? All spiritual power are from God |

Then face West Africa which is now the LARGEST breeding ground of terror on Earth with Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger Republic being the epicenter of the JNIM jihadist terror group with headquarters in Mali. The Tuareg-led JNIM jihadi group is even deadlier than BH and the BH faction called ISWAP has been getting training and logistics from Mali. It is not that easy. On a norm, the unlimited powers bestowed on the president in terms of security by the constitution is flawed and it should be reviewed to ensure the president influence on policing is curbed! Saying that this same recklessness at the federal level should now be cascaded to states and LGA doesn't solve the problem...on the contrary, the situation may get worse and lead to arnachy! Imagine if a state governor is a Boko Haram/bandit sympathiser and he or she now has unlimited access to use police at their will! That you are in control of the police does not mean you can't lose election and that is all that matters. How are you going to stop people from voting against you?. bentenny: Are you serious with this statement of yours? The presidency uses security operatives at will to carry out their rascality on political opponents! A simple example is how EFCC treated former governor yahaya bello and Nasir elrufai! Both may have questions to answer but one is free because he is loyal to the president but another is in custody because he is an opponent! Yes GEJ could have but he refused but that doesn't mean another will not use it at their will! This is why there should be laws to limit the powers of governors or president on policing in order to curb their excessiveness! If you can't limit the President then there is no need to limit the governors or local government chairmen. Police is not the court and there is very little the police can do for the chief executive in the long run or in reality. Sacrificing security on the altar of curbing governors or local government chairmen is naive in my opinion. Civil servants including police will always work for the person that wins election. They will switch loyalty immediately another person is sworn in. The arguments against local government and state police is not tenable |

bentenny: In a democratic setup, governors have 'limited' control over the police as a measure to curb their excessiveness and high-handedness! There is also the aspect of the legislative and judicary operating as an oversight on the executive with the inclusion of important clauses that impedes the governor from having unlimited access to the state police! If a state governor is given 100% over the police,it's will most likely be used as a tool to attack political opponents and ensure the rights of citizens are stifled! The senate must draft state police g in such a way that the governor only has limited powers not total access! The President, Governor, LG chairmen and even university VCs should have the same control over the police that is under them. Private security firms should also bear arms as well as responsible adult citizens after a background check. The job of the police is to provide security and if the President is not using the police against his opponents then a governor or LG chairman can't.
