And this is the same man that is talking of Oduduwa Republic.. So he that he can boast of getting wives from Biafra, Nigeria and Ghana |
FirstCounsel:if u really are a lawyer then you ought to desist from name calling. You merely correct if it's wrong and as a gentle man that you ought to be, cite the relevant laws that mandates him to be in court. But to take the direct opposite of and drag the nobility of the profession to disrepute is uncalled for here... No offence pls. |
No killers or assassins. The first man Jonathan was merely abusing his office when he was talking anyhow as the president as for pmb he is very old and does know what he is saying.. Remember West Germany. |
He is wasting his money... Very soon the case will be quashed. Section 308 is very clear, he can not appear in court no matter the nature of the case. |
Amechi will be cleared only if Saraki breaks record to be the first senate president to go to court without the support of his colleagues. And if he goes, his PDP colleagues will accompany him and DSP will have no alternative than clear him.... My analysis though. |
. Ifeanyi Uba fighting hard to get contract through Saraki....... How are the mighty struggling...... On another note, if the CCT chair deny it he should counter it.... Pursuing Saraki as if this is not democracy. Or when did it turn to partyocracy. |
Whats my biz...... Applaud a man who is running away from his untamed wife. |
Pisterous did not get life sentence........ If it's in Nigeria.... Metuh will shout............ The judiciary is hoarding justice at the president's directive.. In sane clime, sane things happen no matter how ridiculous |
. This Metuh will soon land himself into trouble.. He should no what to say, the cjn is not Adesina to be upbraided any time. Metuh has no portion of section 308 to help him out. He can be charged for court contempt if he is not able to bring evidence....... Your opposition stops in legislative and executive arm. |
PLANNED.. NOT DONE.... LET'S KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED AND PRAY THIS NATION GETS BETTER. |
FirstCounsel:election petition are criminal. Secondly, no law in Nigeria mandates an accused to be in court after the writs have been exchanged except to give evidence of which he can refuse and remain silent. Compelling him to appear in court is a violation of section 41 of the constitution. |
TonyeBarcanista:Now, Aodoaaka was spotless before appointment, he only enmeshed himself in the stream of corruption prompting his SAn being stripped and removed. On Nuhu Ribadu he was merely selective on who he prosecute and how he prosecutes whom. Yar adua hates such and in order to extricate himself from the cabals he was shown out of the country. El Rufai is a living testimony. On Atiku, if u think he is corrupt letPMB try him and convict him. Atiku, to me and many others is merely powerful and not corrupt same could be said of Tinubu. |
Not at all. Dsp will not preside, it will be Saraki. Firstly, Amechi and others would be screened tomorrow not Wednesday. Secondly, if the screening is on Wednesday, he can. still preside because the judicial interpretation of section 36 is that an accused must be represented during his trial either in person or through a legal practitioner of his choice. And it implies. Both in civil or criminal matters. That is why even in election petitions the respondent must not be in court. However, Saraki being an intelligent man would rather go to court than sit in the house and watch Amechi loose his bid to become a minster. |
Who is he to talk about who we jail or release. We re sovereign country and does what ever we want. Remember we have no serious bilateral relations with Israel so Netanyahu k |
Only God knows why Yar adua died. The only truthful president Nigeria ever had..... No wonder he openly advocated that section 308 be either amended or abrogated.. He saw no reason why he, the president, should be immuned from criminal prosecution.. Not this upright man helping his cronies milk Nigeria in the name of i hate kworroption. Rip musa Yar adua. |
Pls help my data stops by itself why brosing. And it happens mainly when am using simple server. What do i do |
How, O! Africans.. How o! Nigerians. Do we celebrate mediocre. I did not get the opportunity to watch the screening live but when i saw the applauds on nairaland concerning how Fashola finished them, i quickly downloaded it on youtube. And to be sincere, i was not impressed not with fashola but with the senators. A house where the make up are half baked. Hw on earth would u explain the fact that Sekibo struggles with English, in a commotion house, Sam Egwu was busy "considering facts'. Of course Fashola being a smart man wittingly answered them in a way their could not understand. To be sincere, Fashola merely finished unlearned law makers and that does not make him a good administrator but a mechanic. Who fixes car based on the understanding of the owner. |
A very good write up. Inspiring, thought, provoking and truly path changing. I never knew the yorubas could a day remember that their closest Brother is Igbos and not Hausa. No wonder the late sage, Awolowo chose to for a coalition with the Ziks led NCNC against Akintola wish. But then, Akintola had sowed the seed, the seed of perpetual slavery to the Hausas. Oduduwa loves Awo, but his)(awo's) ideological Love for his Brother Igbos is hated by those he led Tinubu has toed the path of Akintola and betrayed his Brother jonathan... Ooo! How i wish, how i wish this came from a different mouth, why must it be from FFK. The piece is as good as one written by EK. Clark, the two speaks from the two divide of the mouth. Until Yoruba realises that Igbos is their closest Brother their problem would still be a pyramid. |
Nice write up..... But a bit sentimental. Buhari must not be liked by ever body simple. Tinubu or no Tinubu, Buhari will fight corruption. |
Best thing to do is to delist Anambra from oil producing cos it has caused more problem listing them than not. |
Like seriously. I dont know why i ve been finding it hard to believe this man, i just dont know why. Probably after he denied attempting a third term, which was an open secret even among primary school children |
Re we gonna eat his handsomeness, No. He who works hardest is the most handsome. |
Whats he even saying. Cos, i dont get him |
Your premise, I think, is wrong,. Its a common legislative knowledge that the party with the second highest vote becomes the leader of opposition (minority leader) that was why Awolowo became leader of opposition in 1960. When Npc nd Ncnc had coalition. He cant get any post safe for committee chairman. Thats good for democraxy. Up PDC |
In as much as i don't subscribe to subjugation, repression or enslavement of the Igbos, i find it arduous, though evidence, to wean my self away from the treasonable broadcast and unwarranted threat of secession perpetrated through the egregious broadcast of some problem, aired through radio Biafra by some unprofesional henchmen in delicto. It is a known, fact that even the so talked about biafra was hatched in vengeance as a result of the alleged attack on the igbos. Pre biafra! We were scammed by our past leaders about the war. It was a personality struggle between two letter, it was not for our sake. It was for personal aggrandisement .. Nigeria is and shall remain a united sovereign state . It is foolishness at its peak to clout the mind of the igbos on the sacrilegious altar of Biafra. Biafra is not a fraud and can never be,however, a threat to take an arm struggle is in no means the recompense for our contribution towards the excrescence of our great country Nigeria. The united kingdom is made up of 'sovereign states' notwithstanding this fact, these sovereign states never threatened to secede through an arm struggle rather, through the internationally recognized mode of secession, a referendum. I strongly believe, that our Brit gaffers who have a lot to contribute through this process are not carried along. In fact, the land of the rising sun ought to have accepted the circumstantial politics of pharaseeism and sanctimoniousness being played out in Nigeria right from the time of Awolowo. The South is all set to betray the East, Rivers is an epitome of traitorousness. It will justifiably be better, if we queue up into the politics of the centre, politically secure our right, rather than bite and bicker over irrelevancies. I strongly believe that the 3Rs was a scam we were and are not accommodated in the polity but we can not be spoon fed. The in fight between our leaders should be the first to be treated before the talk of a sovereign state of any where. I foresee some men been stalked and maimed for treasonable felonies, i for see the igbos not getting their portion for some years, i forsee two ethnic group dominating the polity for decades and i predict the rise of the sun of Biafra borne in the three symbolic colours of red black and greet but in a peaceful manner rather than through an arm struggle. These are my personal opinoin and not based on any political or cultural sentiment towards anybody or tribe. |

Carlcaresophia:I went there @Benin ring road and the lady there told me that she cant do anything cos thephones has been opened before. After explaining that i never did open the phone nor tried repairing it before, she said she can only help on payment of ten thousand naira. what do i do |
Thanks op, however in ur no 8 above, you are VERY correct cos that was the usage in the constitution(removal) but u erred while relating it to Nigeria, because in Nigeria, public officials are immuned from criminal trials, hence any impeachment resorts to removal. You have impeachment procedures ehich may nit resort to removal but impeachment colloquially is removal in POLITICAL parlance of Nigeria |
