If INEC establishes that Rochas exerted undue influence on the electoral commissioner then Rochas has flouted INEC laws and should be disqualified. The 2nd person should be given the ticket. That is the law. It's simple. Unless it was not established without a doubt that it was Rochas that made the man announce the incomplete result under threat.

INEC has every right to withhold it because it was announced under duress.. the returning officer told the whole world the he was announcing the result under duress...... It would be a shame for Inec to issue a certificate to a candidate who's result was made known to the whole world by the electoral officer was under duress. It's like NYSC issuing a discharge certificate to someone who openly flouted their rules and regulations in everyone's eyes.

Hello.This is one of the major problems we have in the country.why will anybody be telling another citizen of nigeria "what is the business in another state or part of the country".I am not a supporter of any of the two parties here but it is hypocritical for us to be preaching a united nation but acting otherwise.As a citizen of the country,anybody shuld be able to move freely in any part of thr country as stated in the constitution.we shuld call a spade a spade.He was wrong to make that statement.we pray for a better nigeria with good leaders.
