Wìth or at that price I can even buy a very clean laptop and a good phone.
@tobidaflava
Man, this is way, way, way out of your league. This is CLEARLY not for your level. Just as someone will pour N10m on a car, instead of buying the one of N1m. Everything get level, ok. I have this phone, and I can't admire it enough. It sells for at least $450 in States, so the OP's price is very competitive. Tobidaflava, abeg no dey carry your mouth go where your hand no fit reach, as you dey use pit toilet e get people wey de use wc.

i think i stated that before.
do you have evidence to the contrary?
Do you have evidence that it is owned by an indian?
The operational franchise license for KFC in Nigeria is owned by an Osun state man who used to live in Texas. He's free to allow anybody to open and run a specific KFC under his Franchise license within his licensed geographical region. But you are more than free to believe anything you want.

OKAY OKAY OKAY!!! but why do you want them in naija so bad? really? do you think you are missing something by them NOT being there?
allow the naija man to make money, and stop letting the fat oyibo man get rich from poison. okay?
@ the amaka

And how exactly do you know that a Nigerian is not making money from it presently? You think, just cos its called KFC, that KFC had to come to Naija to build, run and profit from it. KFC is a franchise, anybody with a good business model and finance can take it to any market, anywhere in the world, including Afganistan. All you have to do is pay the franchise fee, just like you would if you were opening it in TX, CA, NY etc. FYI, the one in Naija was brought to Naija by a Naijaman in TX. Just like 'Barcellos, Nandos etc. On the healthiness of the food, it is no more unhealthy than most of the local unhealthy menu items in Naija now, viz; anything made with red palm oil (high bad cholesterol), goathead and all its siblings, eba, pounded yam etc (all simple carbs), basically, about 80% of naija local foods are unhealthy. The only savior is that all of them are organic. Just like the KFC menu items in Naija. So please, have your facts straight before you comment.

My friend your response shows how completely ignorant you are of how the system work. I've already been in touch with person concerned. Check and ask those who know better than you if possible before you begin to post response to what you don't know anything about.

The more you post, the clearer you portray that you are part and parcel of this scam, if not, why you dey drink panadol for somebody else's headache.

ARE YOU AWARE THAT ADVERTISING "CONTRACT FOR SALE" IS A JAILABLE OFFENCE IN NIGERIA? You can SUBLET a contract, but you CANNOT advertise a contract for SALE, and with a selling price for that matter.

PropertiesRe: Cheap Properties For Sale In Kaduna By Distressed Sellers by LAX89(m): 5:48am On Jan 16, 2010
@Lastpage

All of this came from you "l bought my first parcel of land in 2000, just opposite Chevron, in Lekki.
Since then, l have acquired not a few more properties, scattered all over Lagos, and one in Abuja
.

While people were buying bank shares, l decided not to put all my eggs in one basket and equally invested in property.
Not to say, the share purchases were mostly wasted money cos l lost a few millions there, the value are nothing to write home about as we speak now but the "properties' are a consolation".

I'm not sure why you thought it necessary on this forum. You also asked "So how did you know about what Dangote or Otedola has" The answer is simple, 'their companies are publicly traded in the stock market, still you don't hear them on the megaphone.
CelebritiesRe: Rita Dominic Should Pick A Date by LAX89(m): 4:40pm On Jan 15, 2010
@aloy*emeka

Why does she HAVE to get married, is there a law that EVERYONE MUST be married? It's a choice, some may want to and some may not want to. Very much like chosing to eat rice or yam or salad. It's anachronistic to have a mind set of doing whatever society expects.

@LASTPAGE

Congratulations on all your acquisitions and very successful investments, I'm happy for you. But I have to advice, it's NOT matured, modest, civilised nor humble to brag about material self-acquisitions. I'm not sure why you think it necessary to list all your acquisitions/investments with dates in a public forum like this and to total strangers. What you have is yours, you do NOT need to convince anybody of them. I'm not sure if God/Allah approves of this sort of behaviour. What if you were Otedola, Dangote or Adenuga, you'll be publishing all your assets in all the National newspapers in Nigeria and Ghana. Btw, have you noticed how humble and quite those 3 men are?

AutosRe: Canadian Cars, Is This How They Behave by LAX89(m): 3:45pm On Jan 13, 2010
@Obeledu

There's NO difference between Canadian and American cars, they are one and the same. The ONLY exception is California, which requires emission control in all cars sold and driven in California. Whatever is wrong with your car, was caused by other factors than the fact that it came from Canada. Another insignificant difference is that Canadian cars run in Km while American cars are in Miles.

@autodyne

This appears as voodoo Finance/economics. You assumed a finance term of 5 years, yet your interest calculation is for 1 year without compounding. Giving TVM (Time Value of Money) concept, the bank/financier will  be loosing a lot of money on this deal and NO bank/financier on this planet will do this deal the way you have calculated it. Something is wrong somewhere, somehow. Please explain this your calculation further.

Didn't they allow you enter inside and take interior pictures, the pictures you posted seems like they only allowed you to stand outside the gate. I need to see the interior pictures, compound, bedrooms, toilet, etc before I decide to go further on this.

You're supposed to be an architect/building engineer. You made an error in writing your OWN phone number, you corrected it, but still left the initial error on the post. Frankly, this doesn't give me very much confidence in engaging your services.

@Lawyer

I hope you're doing well my friend, present state of affairs notwithstanding. I have always known that a day will come when your good deeds will be punished. So, here we are, very unfortunate. But this is the comical law of nature, albeit unfair. PEOPLE ONLY VALUE WHAT THEY PAY FOR, OR SUFFERED TO GET. "You do not take what is meant for kings and give to dogs". NL unfortunately, comprises of the good, the bad and the ugly. It also houses a number of scallywags and scumbags. So, pay them no mind my good friend. My advice to you is this; Create a real estate blog, just like Mr. Omion (I'm sure you're aware of him in this forum) where you'll write down briefs of all the opportunities you come across, and if anyone like it and need details, then CHARGE them a fee (for consultancy, retainership etc). When you do this, you'll then attract only serious minded people to your blog rather than dealing with some of these unsavoury elements prowling a well intended, but unfortunately FREE forum like NL. Mr. Seun should also think of charging membership fee for belonging to NL, I believe this will also help weed out some of these undesirables on NL. Just my 2 cents!
