FamilyRe: Boy-child or Girl-child, does it matter? by layi(m): 12:16pm On Sep 14, 2005
It doesnt really matter whether i have boys or girls. I just want children. Family name my ass. Dem dey use am collect money?
Girl child is ok. Most africans don't want the family name to cease. In that case your daughter could get married and still bear your name. Its possible. So waz d fuss?
Anyone i get...Ok by me. But i'll really want a mixture. 2 boys & 2 girls.

FashionRe: Facials & Make-Up (for both Males & Females) by layi(m): 11:14am On Sep 14, 2005
@AngelaK.
The facial skin is very diff from the other parts of the body (dont be fooled by the even tone all over). The facial skin is extremely sensitive. Thats why most cosmetologists prescribe special facial creams as opposed to general body creams. I said that to say this: You have to be careful when dealing with your face. There's no overnight success when it comes to dealing with acne. Just do it the right way and be consitent.
The major cause of acne is the excessive oily secretions from the sebaceous glands in the 3rd layer of the skin. The oils are neccesary to protect ur skin and keep u lookin young. But when ur facial skin is dirty and clogged. The oils wont get their way out and as a results pustules are formed around the pores.
Truth is, if your face can be kept clean throught the day, you wont have acne. Thats a difficult task though especially for those in the temperate region like Nigeria.
My advice is u get cleansers and keep ur face clean at all times.
For the black spots. You'll have to use exfoliants or a Supertoner to tone the spots. U should get results within 2 weeks depending on the cause.
But remember its easier to avoid dark spots that clearin it.

Nairaland GeneralRe: How Was Your Day/Yesterday? by layi(m): 12:36pm On Sep 13, 2005
*Thanks for the thread. Good for the journal-shy pips*

Yesterday was hmmm...not that eventful but sum'n happened that made me happy for choosin the kind of path i'm towin.
3 Girls came visitin me (at home) about same time. They've wooed me at diff times but i remain who I am *i hate sayin this...makes me look like a gay*. I'm not averse to relationships but i don't believe in swingin with the tides. I've got to have a reason for my actions. I wont hook up 2 a GF because everybody is havin one. I'll play ball only when i meet 'her'. I do have female pals though..very good ones.
If i was the playa type. Yesterdays occurence could have been embarassing.
Asides that....
I got good news from d stock market ( i trade in stocks). I met an old pal and we went playin Lawn tennis (at the ikoyi courts). I got home hooked up to my sequencer...made some def R&B beats...and got writin again.....
School?...i'm on vacation.
I kno today will be greater.

FashionRe: Facials & Make-Up (for both Males & Females) by layi(m): 12:07pm On Sep 13, 2005
"Looking good is good Business"

Guys or girls. Everyone ought to look good. Nothing stops men from gettin facials, manicure or even pedicure done once in a while.
Its pretty lame to shizzle yourself out just because u don't want people to think u are gay.
Let the gays do their thing and u do urs. Its a free world.
Your body is your body. If u love it, you'll take care of it.
FashionRe: Men Who Wear Pink ("Men In Pink") by layi(m): 12:00pm On Sep 13, 2005
Damn right HotA.
Anytime i'm asked "whats your favorite color". I always start with "Dont laugh o...its Pink"
Pink is my favorite colour (reason why i'm replyin anyway). Its been associated with Ladies for ages but its what I like and it don't make me gay (even though i've had to ward off *those pips* several times). I wont stop wearin Pink..
People sure look good in Pink.
I'm very conscious of colors now though. The days of ignorable-fashion-mistakes are gone. U could loose a job for wearin d wrong stuff.
Even if I go the dark way (all black), I always have a pink on somewhere (maybe boxers).
I'll stick with Pink because Its the Color of Angels.  wink
RomanceRe: Wealthy guy or highly libidinous guy? by layi(m): 11:40am On Sep 13, 2005
*assumin a ladies postion now*

Difficult to choose..cos high libido only means he's got the drive/voracious appetite for sex. This doesnt mean he's good in bed.
Monotonous sex is as good as no sex. Even if d question is restructured. I'll still go for the Rich guy...
sex+empty stomach= death
