Amadi, Aduke, Chima, Nwakaego and Sweetie were characters in the novel. I still remember the last sentence.

[quote author= post=85374543]Nigeria never told ECOWAS that they are interested in a single currency up till this moment. That has been going on for years now. So won't they reply them that they will get back at them?! Nigeria’s naira is often seen as the likely anchor currency for ECOWAS, due largely to country’s sheer economic size and political importance. This role would be akin to the one played by the German deutsche mark in the period leading to the introduction of the euro. Our Conclusion : The Eco will clearly not be the panacea for West Africa’s myriad problems, including high levels of unemployment, especially among the burgeoning population of youth and the increasing numbers of the poor. The lessons from the eurozone highlight continuing challenges among a group of highly developed countries with very strong institutions. ECOWAS will do well to heed these lessons. Also, efforts by member states to strengthen domestic macroeconomic frameworks are important. Concerted efforts must be made to reduce the inordinate bureaucratic delays that severely constrain exports and imports at the border. Launching the single regional currency, the “Eco,” by December 2019 is, at best, an expensive distraction that the people of West Africa can ill afford at this particular moment. We stand with Nigeria. Shame on the OP that brought this rubbish here, whatever his mission was and bigger shame on the illiterates typing jargons everywhere. Lazy tins!
It is always good and refreshing to know that we still have reasonable and intelligent people like you guys on this forum. Compared to the illiterates and pessimistic wailers that have nothing upstairs but just take side with anything that can make the country look bad. Ireedeemable and pathetic tins they are. Politics › Re: Now That Sowore Has Been Released, Struggle To Free Nigeria Continues Tomorrow by lebienconnu(m): 6:00pm On Dec 24, 2019 |
CliffDike: The released of Omoyele Sowore today by the federal government has proven once again that democracy and rule of law has come to stay in our dear country despite the dictatorial tendencies of the self-serving Buhari led regime.
The court has also shown that it remains the last hope of the common man in this era of impunity and tyranny.
Now that our hero of democracy has been freed from detention once again, the struggle for the redemption of our country will continue tomorrow. It is a struggle of no retreat, no surrender.
The man Sowore will continue to fight for justice, equity, rule of law, accountability and a better life for the Nigeria people irrespective of the intimidation and threats to re-arrest him for the second time.
Like Czesław Miłosz said: In a room where people unanimously maintain a conspiracy of silence, one word of truth sounds like a pistol shot.
Sowore won't be cowed or silenced, he will continue to speak truth to power, he will continue to protest for good governance and accountability until the needed change is effected. Sometimes a committed and unrelenting minority can be enough to bring a radical and a revolutionary change to a system.
Despite the obvious persecutions and brazen intimidation and dictatorial attempts to force him to keep silence, he remains undaunted and unperturbed.
Like Nelson Mandela, Sowore is walking the long walk to freedom of the Nigerian people from incompetent leaders, with utmost courage and commitment. This is not a personal fight but a fight for the freedom of the entire country from the shackles of bad leadership and dictatorship.
In a country were politicians who steal billions from our common wealth are protected and even labelled messiahs; men like Sowore who are truly opposite of all these politicians must be encouraged, reverred and celebrated. We have only one country we can call our own, the task to make it work is a duty for all.
Sowore should be seen and celebrated as a true Nigerian hero of democracy, he has sacrificed all for this country. He fought against the annulment of June 12 presidential election, he fought against the brutal and tyrannical regime of the dreaded General Abacha, he fought gallantly against the cabals when the late president Umaru Musa Yar'adua was bedridden in Saudi Arabia. His efforts led to the confirmation of the then vice president Good luck Jonathan as acting president of our country. He also fought against Mr Jonathan when it became clear he was clueless and his government was condoning mind-boggling corruption cases in top government institutions. This resulted in the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 as the president of our dear country.
But since Buhari's administration has shown the same lackadaisical and lethargic attitude for which Good luck Jonathan was voted out of office, Sowore and other patriotic citizens of our great country won't keep quiet. They will continue to fight Buhari till good governance and visible development is manifested in every nook and cranny of Nigeria. Unlike many Nigerians who are hypocrites and lily-livered; Sowore will never support what is bad, he won't succumb to impunity, tyranny and dictatorship, he will keep standing boldly for what is right! People like Sowore who are both heroes and patriots are not common. In a nation were selfish and egocentric leaders have continued to amass wealth to themselves, the emergence of Sowore as icon of revolution is a glimmer of hope that there are still altruistic leaders that can bring the needed development in our dear country.
He is a man of truth, a man of justice, a man of equality, a man of equity, a man of courage and a man of the people. He has shown what it means to be a leader, he led the revolutionnow protest even when he knew his freedom was at risk because to him the battle to save and salvage this country is worth the sacrifice.
Despite the false accusations, criticism and ridicule from fair weather politicians and pawns of this current administration who are benefiting from the status quo.........the man Sowore will remained steadfast and undaunted to his calling.
He will continue to fight till Nigeria gets rid of incompetent and self-serving leaders forever. Boya lomo. Sowore now has a certificate diploma in Sense. He is a changed man. Maybe you too need to go for course. If he tries it again Baba will send him for a first degree. Mind you Sense is a science course oo. That is 5 years. |

Business › Re: Allen Onyema And Egahaga Should Resign During The Fraud Trial To Save Air Peace by lebienconnu(m): 7:30am On Nov 25, 2019 |
Atouke: For the purpose of argument and public engagement, Airline business is one of the few business that is absolutely difficult to operate without the cooperation of the USA and the US financial sector, mr onyema will doom his company if he fails to seperate himself immediately from the company to free it from his individual criminal charges.
I have read several reactions that the US or people's are using the US legal system to unfairly target mr onyema. My opinion is that that is highly unlikely, 1). US only comes after you if you are acting against the USA interest. Mr Onyema is not competing against any US interest, his Airline is not competing in any route that any US airline is currently plying and non of his proposed international routes is in competition with any American airline. He wanted to fly Houston - Lagos, India- Lagos, China- Lagos, London- lagos and south America, none of this routes will compete with American interest hence the reason for my opinion.
2) Mr onyema has one thing going for him his airline uses 100% American made aircraft, he has Boeing and Embraer aircraft for those who don't know Embraer though a Brazilian company but, Boeing owns a substantial part of Embraer and collaborate with Embraer for designing a d development. This is a major plus for mr onyema because being a customer of an American aircraft manufacturer he will have a lot of support in the US business community. The reverse would have been the case if his airline was using Airbus aircraft. For those who don't know Boeing is American number one export. The US government listen when Boeing speaks. Boeing's interest is American government interest.
3). Mr onyema is charged in the federal court in the state of Georgia, a plus for him is that the state of Georgia especially Atlanta has the most progressive and wealthiest blacks population in the US, hence a large population of black professionals in Georgia, hence mr onyema will have the cream of the crop lawyers to choose from. As opposed to being charged in a court in a state with few black people.
4). Mr onyema stand a good chance of winning this case, if they investigate the case since 2010, and only brought charges after 9yrs of investigations it means that the evidence against him is weak if not they would have move against him earlier.
5). America is a very litigious society, and that means this kind of allegations are common place in America, hence there is expertise on how to handle such cases successful, mr onyema should look for the best American lawyers for his case. And invest his time away from his chairmanship position from his airline if he chooses to resign. to face this criminal case squarely.
6) mr onyema is a very wealthy man, that helps a lot in legal crisis as you can afford the best legal representation.
7). Even if mr onyema loses his case which is highly unlikely if he handles it properly. He will not likely go to jail, he will only be required to pay a fine which will be settled out of court.
. In my opinion Mr onyema has a favorable prognosis. You are only worsening his case by these vulgar posts. You need to read more. |

" it is the wife that works. The husband sits at home" I have heard neighbourhood gossipers say this several times in different places in this society. Although the guy's behaviour is typical of that of a man in turbu, ent times, the main reason why he detests strangers in the house might be to avoid further ridicule.

This case has gone beyond only praziquantel and antibiotics. The worms have caused serious damage. The bleeding has not stopped because your bladder inner wall may have been seriously ulcerrated. Like a Doctor rightly said you need a comprehensive urinary tract work up. Bladder cancer is not something to be joked with. It must be ruled out convincinly. You do not have time to experiment with any alternative medicine.
There is a procedure called urethrocystoscopy. A scope with tiny camera will be passed through your penis and your bladder inner wall will be visualized. If there is ulceration or any other abnormality a very small sample will be taken and sent to the laboratory to check if it is cancerous or not. Cancer is best treated when detected early enough. You have no time. I repeat. Some other investigations will also be required in order to take informed decision about your treatment.
Go to any teaching hospital and prepare your mind very well. I trained in OAUTHC and I am absolutely sure that you will find succour there. See Profesor Badmus or Professor Salako. The duo are urology personified. If you know you know.
Again, no time to play Baba ijebu with Bladder CA. |

Wickedfacts: It is either Reno Omokri is ignorant or lying. Either way, it shows that no one should take Reno Omokri seriously.
On the other hand, those who believe Reno are of two categories: the gullible and the hopeless.
The hopeless are those people who have been mentally and emotionally destroyed by Atiku's loss. They initially consoled themselves saying Atiku is coming but with apparent loss staring at them in the face, they are desperately looking for hope even if it is false hope. The gullible are those who believe things like Buhari is Jubrin from Sudan and nonsense like that.
These categories of hopeless and gullible people are not necessarily illiterates or paupers, no. We have people like Bishop Oyedepo using his pulpit to preach the gospel of Jubrin of Sudan instead of the gospel of Jesus Christ. People like your Professors and PhD holders on Twitter who constantly make a fool of themselves.
These two categories of people would support the Devil if Buhari is fighting the Devil. If you ask them, they would tell you that after all, the Bible says the Devil goes "to and fro". The Devil must therefore be hardworking. This comment is legendary. Wicked facts. |
