AjanleKoko:
Buhari might have good intentions, but he's definitely not gonna win this election.
If he plans to, he's definitely not going about it the right way.

Nigerian politicians spend too much time horse-trading and joining issues on the pages of newspapers. My issue with him is, this dude has contested elections twice. If he was really serious about becoming president, he should have been building up his campaign strategy since the 2007 elections, like Obama did. Now he's got a largey ad-hoc campaign with lots of good intentions, no money, no structures, no plan to tackle the incumbents, in a country where the voter demographic is largely poor and illiterate. The people who will vote won't be reading newspapers!

He should have started his work from the current elected officials who have some sort of power base, trying to sway a few with the same ideological bent his way. He should have been reaching out to the ACs and APGAs of this world while the PDP incumbents were busy looting and generally earning themselves a worse rep. Creating grassroots appeal, networking at every level, using all the word-of-mouth tools that's available to them. It seems to me that not much has been done, and somehow the opposition once again allowed themselves to be led by PDP down the beaten path. To oust PDP today will require a long distance marathon, not a sprint.

I understand he's got following in the North, but the South is not going to buy that. Looking at things from the viewpoint of competition, incumbency aside, PDP seem to be doing things right. They're visible, campaigning aggressively, lobbying overtly and covertly, at local and international levels, and even tried to portray their own process transparently. Apart from a few speeches and well-placed arguments, what has the BB campaign team actually done to reach out to the people at the grassroots? I heard that prior to the 2008 US elections, the Dems mobilized aggressively to get the lower end of the demographic to come out and vote. Jonathan's campaign TVCs even seem to be appealing to Nigerians more than anything the opposition has done. I think they have surely lost this one. I'll still vote for them o, but they definitely won't win.

all those ones na story for nigerian polities. all these papers wey them dey take dirty the walls of the city, of what value is it in chosen the right candidate. to tell my stories, i was an electoral officer during the 2003 elections. we in my team had ensured that we conduct a free and fare election which we did to the best of our abilities and all was peaceful. all electoral results and documents of my poll we append our signatures and kept a copy for our self in case we had to appear before an electoral tribunal to testify and defend our position. two days after one of the elections, we were summoned to the local govt to clearify the location of the box allocated to my unit. to my surprise, i saw all the ballot papers and documents which we spent hours to conduct and documented been burnt before my very eyes. i bursted into tears for all our so called effort were merely waisting of our bloody time. i saw new documents claimed to have come from my units and names which were strange.
well, i am still waiting for the miracle Jeda wants to performs

going to buid a rebook stadium in my back yard

@kodewrita medicine will soon move to a level where doc learn new technique over d net. What then is the whole idea about telemedicine all about?

mind you all, during elections, there will be restrictions of movement. so how do one with double regristration intend to vote in 2 or more states

Double registration is not just possile. a carmel could pass through the eye of a need, but you cannt register 2twice without been disqualified

The inec chairman had stated that prisoners will not be allowed to vote in this coming 2011 elections

sure, mubbarack had not been to harsh with isreals

Kudos to you ibinabo.keep it up.
For those of u calling her names,u are just misinformed pessimist. If u r asked now how she is a murderer u wont having anything reasonable to say. Just out there to assasinate peoples character out of jealousy.
She was never even charged for murder rather it was a case of manslaughter cos it was a car accident which if u have ever driven a car u will know that it can happen to anybody.
She was speeding away from a car that she felt was trailing her and in the process of desperation ran into a car coming from d opposite direction and d man driving died.
Am sure you dont even know d story but quick to call her murderer cos u heard it from your misinformed co-travellers.
Even if she was a murderer now dat shes doing something to atone for d wrong doing we shld gv her a chance.theres always room for forgiveness. Yea! she served d prison term for manslaughter n got released just last year. You would hv known if u read d papers.

she was never running away from anybody. the dr in question was held up in an holdup at the opposite side of the road. she was coming from a club, driving drunk and she committed the attrocity. even though it is not a murder case, she was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment or option of 100,000 naira fine which she did at the entrance of the court. the family of the doctor see this as an insult since they are not that poor, they are in a position to give this money to a begger who needs it urgently. the doctors wife had sued for a hundred million naira compensation

its a pity acn knows nothing about database. if queried, it will detect even families that have similar DNA structure. don't be deceived by politicians

only last week had i seen the national geography documentary about this golden mummy. it is the only treasure left from the ancient past. others had been looted in the ages past, but this was found around the early 1920s.
it is had to note that no pharaoh, no Egypt. On Saturday when i saw this pharaohs image falling to the ground and i feared seeing some parts broken, it might be a destruction not only to Egypt but to ancient civilization of mankind.

Mummies are among the acient artifats attacked in Egypt by protesters who are protesting the appointment of the new prime minister and vice president

The formal minister of petroleum, opec representative and a senator in NIgeria Jubril Aminu stated that this should be the last time such an exercise should be carried out. HE stated that datas should be collected from national data base such as the national id card, international passort and the national populations commission

There's also this call for being part of the F1 racing cars design, have being briefly introduced to it while in school. I thought of it a fascinating adventure, and though some of us did sign up for different department/sections then, that was it, it ended after school.

So, any contribution as per any of the above stated will behighly welcom.

Lets keep it and other matters coming. God Bless[/quote]where is the site

My working in a western world has made me realize that in Nigeria there is nothing like productivity. In Nigeria we do not put much effort in anything we do. Going to work is all about your attendance, productivity level is very low. Your boss does not know what he is doing even if he has been there for God knows when. There is a format in the ways things are done so you do not have to think outside the box.
So going outside to work in a foreign country we find it hard to cope that is why most times we either go back home or do low level jobs that do not need our input. Correct me if I am wrong but that is the way I see it.
What do you think

thats a lie. if you have ever worked in an industry, you will see that much is demanded from you in terms of productivity. many companies are under staff, meaning you have so much work load on you. also, there are log files you sign showing your activities for the week or month. it is a question of no work no pay. it is only in ministries and some offices that such lazy attitudes exist

Of what use can your education offer

How many of these projects have you undertaken

Physic is very useful in nat development. It includes design of nuclear reactors, satellites, telecom networks, programming and infotech

I need people with knowledge in artificial intelligent or system engineering

how can you compare IT with medicine? it is the greatest insult i have ever seen. medicine is one of the most difficult course on planet earth and IT is the easiest to me. what do you want to say about Bill Gate at 13 and others already programming. while i was in the university, i scored 97% in my programming course without any stress compare to courses like ODE, partial differential equation, Laplace equation, bessel funtion just to mention a few.

why dont we go solar, nuclear? i can make a nuclear fission reactors and nuclear fusion reactors for nigeria. i can also design a MHD system.

everybody that have made meaningful contributions to make NL interesting

computer science is even having sub fields been studied as a discipline. imagine i was surprise when i checked this years jamb brochure and saw that some schools are studying artificial intelligent as a course. what of system engineering which takes a step further than computer science?

our team is not really bad. we just need to keep praying 4 them

The conference should involve sharing computing techniques and advice

Who haveidea of simulation

Well i have a project on for a while on eng solution. Cash and some technicality have indered the project
