everything. from mobile phones to tv to dvd to cars, electronics, engines, , in fact almost everything.

AjanleKoko:
Agreed.
The greatest crime we are all committing against our continent is refusing to get involved. We stand aside and watch while a host of other strange people repeatedly reap all the good of the continent. And we do nothing except complain.
We all have supposedly good reasons for this; but it doesn't change a thing - we still have to get involved. No matter what our peculiar bias is, we need to get off our backsides and find a way to do something.

sammyart:
Medicine is challengiing. Imagine being woken up at 2am on a cold rainy day having slept by 10pm. To perform an emergency life saving operation dat would last 4 hours. You finish 6am and expected to resume work 8am and function optimally!
its a pity many of you have no real industrial experience. the only watch word for most company is production and output. if you are a engineer with a company, your life is modeled around that machine. in a case of breakdown, you are expected to be on the machine trying to put it in order. i remembered one senerio when i was still with nestle food. the machine which produces the only machine which produces the sachet machine got broken down and we had to reset the cam system which automates the machine. my boss *the foreman spent 3 days on the machine while i work from morning to evening, no break and doing extra hours of overtime. in those days, i leave for work 5 am and returns nothing earlier than 7pm on normal days.
i think Igbos are generally good in mathematics but sciences (when i was in secondary school) i think its the yorubas. even i am studying chemistry with chemical engineering and im doing very very well and im Yoruba. but according to my observations in secondary school and even my university in uk, my igbo brothers dominated the business and finance courses while the yorubas dominated the sciences. all in all, i think it depends on the influence of the parents and the people that surrounds them.
sorry to say, there is no link between the output of professionals and tribal origin. what matters most is the individuals, its experience and intellectuality and levels of training. this is only a mirage because some tribe might take to a certain profession than others.
no brother, mathematics is not science. maths is different. scientist use maths to help them explain and prove stuff. that's why maths is called a universal language.
its true, mathematics is never a science subject. i never knew myself until one day, i attended a symposium organized by the dept of mathematics while i was in the university when a professor of mathematics clarified this.

how can we be the happiest?
how many people in the house are happy about our political situation, schools, roads, economy, health care services, police, telecoms, in fact everything.
Go to Denmark and see things for yourself. it has the lowest crime rate in the world. people are just happy and have nothing to think about.
Politics › Re: Ondo Begins Construction Of N130m State Of The Art Motor Parks by lekside44(m): 1:47pm On Nov 05, 2010
i was at Ondo early this year on a business trip. this was my first time in the region. i used the opportunity to familiarize my self with the area. i discovered that many of their schools are still on a deplorable state. they remind me of the structural schools in my village. many telecoms companies are investing heavily their laying a lots of optic fiber cables here and their to link the inter cities and the intra cities base stations. what i felt they need most now is an alternative road to link the big cities since there is only one major road linking ore to ondo town, akure and finally owo.

Russia would not have survived the Germans during the second world war if they were not practicing communism. every Russians from age 11 years upward were sent to the war front while children between age 5 years and 11 were engaged in weapon and supplies development for their soldiers in the war front.
capitalism itself has its own demerits, armed robbery, drug trafficking, prostitution, 419 (yahoo yahoo) just to mention a few.
Politics › Re: What Is Your Opinion On Capitalism? by lekside44(m): 4:38pm On Nov 04, 2010
well, man itself started as a capitalist when he has to carter for himself and his family. communism started when man started forming a society and creating societal corporations and organizations which is not possible for individuals, or organizations to funds due to the large capitals involves and technicality. e.g NASA
we in Africa and many third world countries are suffering with capitalism because we do not have the factors of productions which the western world have. and thus, we are buying computers, phones and ipods made of sand at extremely high prices, but the chines imitators have shown us that these things can be produced at a far less price than what the western world are offering
