Well, if you do not have strength, I don't see why it is still compulsory when you can always pay back after Ramadan... Na "Keep trying, keep trying" naim make rope cut, lizard fall inside well... What am I even saying? |
This my NYSC state governor has a loud mouth! All talks, no action |
Would these guys please just stop the killing competition already?? It's making me sick having to read news about death all the time!!! Gosh! |
If I tell you say I read that thing na lie... All I have in my head is how to get a job, or at least a gig on freelance sites... Please someone should help me with a job, I live in Abuja, I do a lot of things including graphics and writing... I'm a graduate of economics.. Save a brother, this see finish don too much, thank you. |
My favorite writer of all times. Always found a way to attribute her mother's behaviors to any of her characters in all her works... Her works are loving, you'll be drenched in the fragrance of poetry, you will love it, her words make you cozy, make you fall in love again, make you discover your inner sense of the appreciation of simple things like the fluttering butterfly, the earthy smell of the first rain, the soft feel of a wooly pillow, the strong metallic after-taste of Corn Beef, and the chirping of the ochiri bird from far away in the bush... You be compelled to read a line over and over again just because of how exotic it is... Purple Hibiscus Half of A Yellow Sun Americanah And her short stories Cell One Apollo The Song Bird Feminist Manifesto And others I can't remember right now... Rest in peace Mama, we love you... |
Well, having read all comments, truth is, I couldn't have said it any better... I finished school 3 years ago, delayed service for one year, finished service last year's October, now I've joined the bandwagon, searching for imaginary jobs. I got tired at some point, I decided to learn a skill or two, I started with writing, I'm a creative writer, and article writer, I later tried my hands on graphics, after graphics, I intend to learn digital marketing and Copy Writing... All these with just the aid of YouTube videos which I'd like to think are not adequate enough but better at giving insights (Can't afford taking online courses on these things for now due to financial constraints) I'm not sure how to begin to solicit for clients when I'm done learning, I usually feel out of place trying to convince them, I visited a number of freelance sites but they have a way of frustrating me, not getting gigs and all that... Look, I just need a physical mentor who'd put me through.. Nigeria is a mess |
Wetin I dey always enjoy na those short video skit from Ndidi after every match |
Ighalo still a good player to me

SweetVibe:Damn! Your name should be Tiwa ![]() |
Wow, okay I'm in a similar situation and how I intend to raise capital is by trying to get a job, work for several months, save and invest the salary at the same time, I'm not married so I'm not worried about family, except my mother and father, my siblings should be able to take care of themselves... So as I was saying, if the investment go wrong, which I'm sure wouldn't (crypto) the savings can never go wrong, it might lose value slightly because of the fluctuation of the Naira but it can never disappear provided I'd put it to use in few years... My ideas are superb, na money remain and I know God will remember me |
brainmax2000:I swear |
My cousins and I share healthy relationships, especially the female ones (no incest intended) but we gist a lot even about intimate topics without feeling out of place... These cousins are relatives from my mother's side. As for Father's side, they have proven to be do irrelevant to us, they've never been useful (No insult intended). But I feel that once in a while, they should pay visit and make themselves known. I once asked a cousin from my dad's side for a job and his response was not the usual complain of no job, rather he was comparing the job situation of his children to mine, I got the background message, since then, I'd rather everyone should be on their own... |
Truth is I didn't read any of those things up there but I've always the bottom is FG is clueless, it has always been clueless anyway.. |
Faller:Going through your post, it appears you're disgruntled, and I figured it would be a pure waste of time slugging it out with you... So sail, my dear friend, sail... |
BRATISLAVA:Young man... Or woman... I'd advise you shove whatever grievances you have with the red pill aside and help proffer solution for this young man who needs it, it'd make you appear more intelligent and sensible than you already appear dishing out insults here and there... |
Forgive me ignorance everyone, but what is red pill?? I'm my understanding, and by the way it used here, I'm guessing it means these kind of males who always think they are in charge of things, males who have the typical male pride and glory and whom also think the world revolves around them.... Don't know if I'm correct... Is that what red pill means?? |
WorldRichest:The last I checked, complimenting a lady who is apparently more sensible that other members in this situation, is not a position of being judgemental.... Justice Lemmy is a pretty nice name by the way, don't you think? ![]() |
Queenlovely:Honestly this is best comment on this thread... Thumbs up girl! |
DmainG:Damn! Dude! You funny ASF |
I don't know what to say about this but I think this is really belittling... It's not that he joined them willingly, they asked him to come and play for them, for probably an agreed amount, and he came and even decided to play for free. I heard people saying it would strengthen the NPFL, I don't think that's true as only Musa cannot strengthen a nation's league.... All the same tho, I wish him the best... |
By tomorrow, I'll be in this situation, I guess I'd just pick one or two tips from here |
Op, I understand the undermining event and how uneasy and demoralized you felt at that moment but I just want to strengthen your hope that you shouldn't hold that to heart.. Honestly I don't want to be a motivational speaker, at least not on account of your self esteem... But you shouldn't work with someone else's time, her time is different, all that matters is that you should have a clear cut out plan of how you want your future to be regardless of how long its taking... Be happy always, be around people who share your ambitions, don't get intimated by another person's success, as a matter of fact, I think you get closer to them and try to know how they did it, make friends with them if you can... With time, I promise you'd live your desired life |
gbami:That's not true... I'm holding back from saying "You lied" First of all 10k it's not the same as 1 million, he'd definitely save if he wants to Secondly why would you save a currency that will most likely lose its value in years to come, reaping the reverse of your intent... Thirdly, you should think of investing, not necessarily online things, not everyone actually the strength to be checking their phones for new trends on crypto platforms and what have you... He could buy a fairly used car and put it out on his purchase He could invest in agric Many things bro.... Lastly 10k is not 1 million, them no be mate! |
blaise00700:Not exactly in their judicial system... You should read that guy's post that says he was only pronounced guilty because it was caught on camera and the world is following..... You shouldn't always see the United States as that perfect entity, they have their shortcomings too, I think you should talk about that too, because they are just as important! |
I was working with an Indian company called Onshore Construction Company back then in Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos.. We had to work from Monday to Saturday, Sunday was overtime but they made that Sunday pay more than double the real everyday pay, so we had to strive and go just so we'd have some extra pay on top the salary.. I began to lose weight because I usually leave my house before 6am and return by 8pm or thereabout and sometimes 10pm when traffic was really tight, and I had to get up by 4 to start preparing food I'd take to work the next day... The condition was horrible... I bear it for 10 months and ran away... The suffering was topnotch! My overall health is just as important as the money... |
Great feat.. I hope to meet him too, whichever one you think.. |
My own anniversary is loading... |
baralatie:I'm sure you mean to say 24 seconds! |
phazotron:It was back in the days when I was younger, if I asked a girl out and she rejects me, I'd begin to think something was wrong with me, and I'll be wallowing in self pity for a long time.. But now if you don't vibe with me, I move easily... Thumbs up bro |
hybridblood07:Including lies! |
For me... I tend to give up easily. I heard men love the chase, it gives them thrill and all but I see anything interesting in chasing a girl who doesn't pick your calls or tries to make you look stupid before the public, doesn't give you attention... I might as well not like you anymore if you have to make me go through all those... If you are not feeling me, you should have the decency to tell me in time and help me save my energy... At the moment tho, I have a girl I intend to ask out. I met her here on Nairaland, she's nice, well spoken, attractive and all, and as soon as she begins to stress me (if she ever would) I will have to let go... Like someone said, if you see someone you like, you won't let them go easily, if she really likes me, she won't put me through all those... By the way, I hope she doesn't see this comment tho |
