Uyi168:You still need light to charge power bank |
I think the comment on Nairaland, either derogatory, bad or good mostly depend on the first person's comment.. If the first person's says something stupid, the rest of the comments will follow in that fashion, and vice versa. First off, we should begin to appreciate politicians who are trying to see that something good comes to Nigeria. Secondly we need to update our mindset by reading wide.. I see someone saying he should upgrade or educational sector first.. An average Chinese guy can't speak English but you dare not come close when it comes to Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Programming etc... And it's really yielding good results for their country. An average Nigerian youth think the more academic results he obtains, the more respect he'd get, so he goes ahead and get 1st degree, second degree, MSc PhD ICAN HSE this one that one... My tech guys would see opportunity in this information and see how they can queue into it rather than come to make very unintelligent comments and later blame the government for everything including hitting their legs on stones on the road... We need to change our mindset as youths... Selah |
I don't know her but quick recovery all the same |
okeyumez:It's either you're ipob or you're just plain angry... Who told you it is irrelevant? We Nigerians only show our bad sides to the world so when the good comes up even we here don't believe it, we're used to bad things, that's stereotype, it dangerous! The west will never show you their ills that's why we see them as prefect all the time and lick their asses at the slightest opportunity.. Spits |
southniyikaye:The cruise part is okay but I don't understand what else you want the youths to do differently from EndSARS.. You think you can fight the government? Do you own the army? What are your weapons? Physically or intellectually? Oh, you want to call the white guys colonialist on them?? Look, this does not cause for argument or anything, I just want you to know deep down, that we have to join hands together.... |
JOLSOFT:Wow! That's remarkable.. Congratulations |
What is your biggest achievement this year? For me, I saved most of my NYSC allowance which amounted to over N150,000. I bought a UK used HP Probook laptop with some of the money and still have over 70k at my disposal, which I intend to use to start any profitable business as soon as I'm done with my research... The intention of buying the laptop is to use to learn some digital skill like graphics, coding, programming, web designing, and maybe Forex. Although, the money may be small but I'm proud I could come up with something on my own after a tough year... What's your biggest achievement this year 2020? Share with us in the comment section! |
I would have said something about Nairalanders who used this as an avenue to talk down on the artist saying he broke the law Yada Yada, but hey it's not in my place to always put people in their places... So yeah, welcome back Omah and Tems, the last few days has been the times I came to fully love your songs, because it was on heavy rotation on radio and TV. As for Uganda, I have no problem that they arrested our artist but there was something fishy about the whole thing, more like a set up, and I detest the fact that they cuffed them and were shoveling them around like people who stole from the market place, so unnecessary, I don't see how that will make them appear powerful... |
An average Nairalander is dumb.. Y'all are being unfair in your conclusions and judgments, why are you all sounding like he stole something?. You can't depend on Nairaland reports to make hasty conclusions when you've not really investigated how the whole thing turned out... Please you guys need to visit Twitter too see how disappointed everyone (Including Ugandans) is about their government. Gosh! |
These things are normal, as long as the suspect is guilty of the charges... It's not by skin color |
Ablemed:I served in Ganjuwa too. Where are you posted? Which village? And are you part of those who just left for camp? But it's not up to 21 days na if you are. And if you are not, then you've gotta be A1, the ones who used 10 days in camp or so. Whichever, enjoy your stay.. You might want to dm me to give you some tips on how to relate with the people |
Wow! Finally on here, you sure don't know what it means to read from page one up to this current page without skipping any page and without skipping any post.. First of all, I'd like to acknowledge the first set of contributors Olarewajub DonOms Vibesking Callmemercy Hakeem12 R2bees and the rest, these are the names that stuck in my head during the journey of my reading. It actually took me two months to finish reading from page 1... It's a lot of work but I didn't want to miss anything including the quarrels of a seemingly condescending girl who claimed she was an introvert yet go about insulting everybody and a certain Jack something Sha and his incessant whining and complaints of a useless life.. Lol.... That's by the way My name is Lemmy, I'm an introvert, I didn't even realize I was until I came across the word. You see small talks? It detests me, I rarely go out, I get as much fun as I want without the constant urge that extrovert get to step out. I reason really deeply, I tend to counter conventional wisdom, I question anybody or thing I'm not comfortable with, whether it's a pastor or imam.. I'm not that religious by the way.. And I see a lot of introvert complain about being shy, I don't think I'm shy but I can't look directly into the eyes of elders, I don't know but from childhood, it sort of signifies disrespect.. I can't a address a large crowd, this has nothing to do with introversion, I just haven't sharpened that skill.. I can talk to anymore on the first instance, I can initiate a conversation and keep it, I can talk to girls if I want even if she was Agbani Darego, I like parties but I get tired of the whole noise and hysteria quickly and before you know it I'll escape from there and find way to my bed.. It's fun if you ask me, I'm not depressed or anything |
I had a very embarrassing and funny experience of trying to woo a lady in my school. I was 16 at the time. She was a girl from my class back then in secondary school. Averaged height, light skin, short hair, cute face, oh God, everyday I see her in class feels like I'll melt and fade away. I tried to get her to understand that I liked her but she wasn't paying attention so one day I waited till it was lunch hour and everyone was out. She usually remained in the class and eat alone so I decided to let her finish before I tell her. As soon as she finished, I walked up to her and tried to initiate a conversation but I couldn't speak clearly and my voice began to shake like a little baby about to cry but thankfully she did not notice. I knew I was messing the whole thing up but her silence made me think she was listening and probably interested too until she said "Look at how you're sweating" I almost died, as in the whole thing I've been saying since did not hit her, it was my sweat she was paying attention to. In my head I said "OK, I'm done!" and slithered away like a defeated snake. It took me a while to try again. Kindly share what your first experience was like too ![]() |
The signboard is more expensive that the bridge... |
Aside the monthly stipend, NYSC is a total waste of time! I'll be passing out tomorrow, Batch C2... Besides who serves a country that kills her citizens?? |
Nice one.. But someone said medicine after death |
Fahdiga:I really do not know the problem of you guys on this platform, you probably were snoring on your bed when done citizens spent the night in front of police headquarters across the country, now SARS have been scrapped due to the effort of these people, why not wait for the effect first, I think the government know better than to set up another rogue unit again knowing that these youths could actually put their asses on fire with the viral hash tags... You're here saying yen yen yen.... I don't like what I hate fa |
Our leaders felt threatened like never before... They've never seen us so united.... Nice one Wizzy |
Their father! |
I don't care, when they ban Sars, the rest will take caution |
We're making progress |
myBraine:I don't remember being slow to comprehend but I'm not sure I understand you bro.... If you don't mind.... |
RenaissanceGuy:You nor know book.... |

Vector 's raps is not something you'd just be shaking your head to, it's something you have to LISTEN carefully to, lest you miss the gist or the pun intended, needless to say that you have to be intelligent to keep up, lest you join the lots who say M.I is better... |
fati2001:I grew up, I'm sorry if you haven't. I'm done with you, if that was boxing, it would be a KO! Try boxing with someone else... |
