The First Class Chief Osu Ajiri of Ajiri/Afo (Dr Halilu Bala Usman)Kingdom in Nasarawa state however, sent for the young man who vented his concern through his post on Facebook know as Ismail, and all those who made comments on the post to the palace. The First Class Chief (Dr Halilu Bala Usman) made a call through his aide.

The young men answered the call hoping to have a good chat with their Traditional Council Ruler but it ended up with threats and Torture of one the youth member and also declare a death wish on him, after he was about to raise a point of concern. It should be on notice that these men threatened by their Royal Father for showing their concern to the incessant killings and kidnappings going on in the community that nothing must happen to them.

After answering the call of HRH, the Osu Ajiri of Edege chiefdom, Alh. Halilu Bala Usman with some commentators on a post posted far back at August, 2020. The royal father reiterated his annoyance over the posts made about him and his leadership styles. He called us and our late parents with baseless names, he used frightening and intimidating words on us, assuring us of taking legal actions on us anytime we write something about him. While one Sani Oduh tried to respond on the accusation leveled against him, the royal father ordered for his torture where two of his guards beat the Sani mercilessly. The shocking aspect of the ugly incident is that one of his guards entitled Dan Rimi said to shoot Sani to dead anywhere he (Sani) tries to confront him.

The First Class Traditional Council ruler of the Ajiri Kingdom suituated at Udege Mbeki in Nasarawa Local Government in Nasarawa State HRH Dr. Halilu Bala Usman absconds from his palace over the fear of the bandits harassment.

This is the Community where the late Chief Amos Ewa, a traditional ruler of Odu village was killed/assasinated some few months ago.

Some of the Community Youths have called for his resignation over his cowardly act for leaving the palace with the staff and his family.

With total submissiveness of my entire life to the Almighty God, I feel to break the longtime hypocritic silence to the knowledge of the populace and the common man. We are much aware that a real man dies for something. It's no longer strange that Udege Mbeki or Afo land as a whole has been circumscribed by different forms of banditry, by virtue of statistics, if there is, only a few homes that have not yet been touched by these dasterdly acts of rubbery, kidnapping or the others. Even our royal father was once unsuccessfully attacked and some of his extended family members were ever kidnapped. We've all been managing, praying and directly and indirectly reporting to the gov't to take due actions in overcoming the situations. "Alhamdulillah", with the efforts put in place by the present gov'ts of local and state, things have worn new garments. But, my and our greatest bewilderment and confusion emerged when we noticed a total abscondment from our Paramount traditional ruler, Osu Ajiri, HE, HRH Alh. Halilu Bala Usman.

What does that suppose to mean? We've keenly noticed that the ruler has packed his valuables and families and since relocated to his personal residence in Nasarawa, that is out of his area of jurisdiction.

There is fear in us, if a traditional ruler can vacate his place of primary assignment in fear of being attacked, what about his subjects who he pretends to be for them, are they safe? Yet our leaders/elites are silent over it. Is that not a taboo by our tradition and royalties as a whole?

I want to use this medium to call on the bodies concerned to let the royal father come back to his office or calmly and kindly put a resignation and allow courageous and sacrifial people to take over. You cannot be out of us and pretend to be with us.

Leadership involves sacrifice of all, life inclusive.
