Call your wife, get a divorce and marry your heart's choice because you'll live a life of regrets if you don't.

Pay your monthly dues on your child and you'll be good.

Thegoodone13:
Thank u. I can finance him Small but he need connection. What I mean is who to sign him.
I was waiting for you to say this, because your son's issue is now half solved.

STEP 2:
Make him go for music lessons or employ a music teacher for him or make him join a church choir if possible.

STEP 3:
After some few months (six months preferably), take him to a music studio to record his demo tracks (song).

STEP 4:
Search for your preferred digital music distributors e.g Spinlet, FreeMe Digital, etc; sign a digital distribution deal with them for songs you think will likely go far.

...to be continued.

The conclusion really is that you need to create a buzz for your son before any serious person will show interest in signing him. The music industry isn't the way it used to be. Record labels no longer sign artists without a media buzz (except in extremely rare cases)

And if you need advice from a professional music industry insider, I can provide the contact to Godwin Tom, Wizkid's former manager before he signed up with Sunday Are. Godwin will charge you no less than 40k per hour, but his advice is from 10 years plus of being a music insider.

Dear Thestratfac,

Your post is like a job opening with no job description or requirements. You'll only get bugged by different quacks.

Explicitly state what you need the digital marketer for, and what you expect from us. So we'll know if we're your candidate or not.

Thanks

Taking about effective Facebook ad for any kind of objective, I'm extremely good at that - no exaggeration. I can show you the back end to my Ads Manager to prove.
But I'm still learning about Google Analytics and Email marketing so I may not be your best candidate at the moment. Those two are a big field on their own.
Music/Radio / Re: . Who Can Help My Son ? He Need Someone To Sponsor Him. I Need A Connection. by LeoThaGreat(m): 9:55pm On Nov 09, 2019
Let him get a job, save from his wages or salary, then fund his music career with it.
He could be dropping freestyles on Instagram and Facebook for his friends to share in the meantime.

Music is too capital intensive and it's super rare for any label or sponsor to invest in an artist without some buzz
Education / Re: . by LeoThaGreat(m): 8:56pm On Nov 09, 2019
Put your education on hold bro, the resources to fund it aren't available yet.
You could try get a job, probably as an office assistant, then you'll apply for part-time studies; or you could enrol at National Open University Nigeria since they support remote learning.
You'll attend weekend lectures, and work Mondays to Fridays.

But, for now, kindly suspend your education.

It's a tough decision, but it's the way I assume you could weather the storm even without your dad selling his pride - his car is his pride, help him hold on to it

Autos / Re: Buhari Should Ban The Importation Of Generator In Nigeria. by LeoThaGreat(m): 8:43pm On Nov 09, 2019
Just imagine how many small scale businesses such as barber shops, and large businesses like production factories that will lose over half of their current abysmal product capacity due to the O.P's foolish thought.

Anything that should be banned from being imported into Nigeria should have already been produced enough to feed Nigeria's needs. E.g Cows & their products, tomatoes, etc.
If they are not already being produced enough to feed their demands by Nigerians, it will be very foolish to ban them.
E.g. The border closure made the price of locally produced rice skyrocket because we don't produce enough rice to feed Nigeria's demand.

Think deeply before implementing anything, else, you'll foolishly affect the lives of those who's interest you're trying to protect negatively

I'd have been excellent at Mathematics if I was taught in Yòrùbá, my first language. I never needed dictionary to define any Yòrùbá word because the words are self explanatory, all I needed to do was break it down.

Being taught in English language is the reason many students look like dunce or unintelligent, if every Nigerian local government and states can start teaching their kids in local dialect, their Intelligent Quotient will be fully developed.
Fela Kuti also kind of noticed this, whoever has listen attentively to Teacher Don't Teach Me Nonsense will understand this:
Most developed nations in the world stay true to their mother tongue and cultural values.

We need to start doing away with English language in teaching many subjects in school.

Many young ladies would never realise the benefits of staying faithful to one young promising man.

But I think it's all a blessing in disguise, because it helps us easily separate the corn from the shaft

thanks bro....I always carry the girl along in what ever I do and she sees how I struggle to meet up before any tenant pays.(late payment most times).just scared .they are with their god mother now and they cry everyday that the woman maltreats them
I can't get them off their when I have no dime on me.thanks once again.u just gave me strength ...

See, if any tenant want to frustrate you, seven months to their rent expiration, get a sound property lawyer; six months to their rent expiration, serve them a quit notice. If they don't leave after that notice expires, your lawyer knows what to do to make the court come and seize their properties.

Like I advised my dad, a tenant living in your house for long without paying at the right time (before you get indebted) is like a customer that buys goods on credit and refuses to pay when you need it.

Life is hard, but don't let anybody contaminate your life with their challenges.

You've got mouths to feed Bro

Investment / Re: Should I Sell A Property And Go Into Business? by LeoThaGreat(m): 9:22pm On Nov 08, 2019
Selling a real estate isn't the same as selling a mobile phone. You'll need legit papers in place.
Once you have that, go ahead and sell just 1 property, because that will be more than enough to maintain the welfare of the true owners of the properties - your aunt's kids; you'll also have enough funds to set something up to bring regular cash into your account, or probably get a new job.

The adopted child is also a legitimate beneficiary of those properties, and if you misappropriate them, she will spend her entire life haunting you for bad.
Help her get admission in a relatively affordable private university in Nigeria. She will meet other rich kids that can change her life for better, and you'll also benefit if you don't mess up.

If you can maintain those properties well, you will have no reason to lack.

Make sure you document every kobo because you are accountable to those kids, and they might need you to detail how you managed their mom's properties later in life.

Hope my contribution has been helpful

Business To Business / Re: We Urgently Need Freelance Online Marketer, benefits And Insentives Are Attached by LeoThaGreat(m): 11:23am On Oct 28, 2019
Your organisation isn't fully ready for business.
When you are, you'll have a nice marketing budget that you will put to efficient use, rather than rely on efforts of people not solely dedicated to the success of your operations.

Second, to effectively put your business into the face of your true potential customers, your budget should be directed towards newspaper adverts because your customers read newspapers, not Nairaland. I'll advise your newspaper ad goes first towards partisan newspapers; in other words, newspapers that are established or linked to a politician being the founder. Don't exempt TV stations here.
Why? You may ask.
This is because politicians are the ones most like to partner with you in contracts.

I think I've been elaborate enough.

I shouldn't be giving this out for free.

I am 1000% sure the 'government' didn't flood the gutters with garbage, people living in that environment did. Then they will start complaining into the government's ears to stupor. Laughing out loud! Una never see something.

Until every individual decides to act in the proper way, with or without law enforcement, nothing will change! You people have no conscience!

Individuals in government came out from amongst you, and they copy what they see you do! If you want a better tomorrow, start acting proper today, then teach those kids around you too.

Funny how you people want to carry your lawless to other countries and you expect them not to decline your visa application

LOL

You're the change you've been praying for!
Politics / Re: Femi Falana Asks FG To Re-open Nigerian Land Borders Immediately by LeoThaGreat(m): 8:45pm On Oct 24, 2019
This suggestion by Femi Falana is welcomed only in sane environments.
When Patrice Talon became president of Benin Republic, he met with Buhari at Seme, and I'm sure Buhari must have told him to do something positive about the smuggling issues Nigeria is having through them. He's twice met with Buhari afterwards that I know of, yet no positive effort was done by him.
The Nigerien president, hmm, this one must be Buhari's padi; I'm 1000% sure Buhari has urged him to do something positive to curb Nigeria's smuggling issues through them, but no, he didn't listen.

They turned the president of the most populous black country on earth, and Africa's most progressive economy into a barking dog.

Now that president Buhari has decided to play his last card, everybody's on his neck.

Kilode?
Must Nigerians continue to suffer because of her neighbours?

I have to scold the Nigerian government too, but, I reserve my comment for now.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Jobs You Can Do Before You Get Your Dream Job by LeoThaGreat(m): 11:09pm On Oct 23, 2019
7pages:
nice post Op

when I came back from service with the little amount I save because of the high standard of living where I served and spending due to lack of job. I attended a driving school because i tried killing the jobless spirit in me, I went to driving school with the money I saved, did driver's license with the rest of the money

but since I finished with the driving school over a year now, I didn't see any car to drive at least to rehearse what I have learnt and my driver's license I did then expired next year June without making use of it.

expert here, what do you suggest I do though I tried getting a loan of 300k to get a used car from a private user that I can use around Ikeja axis but all my effort prove abortive. I need serious orientation and enlightenment please
Tell the private user to borrow you his car and you'll be giving him weekly returns after cost of fuel & repairs has been deducted. Proper documentation of agreement need to be done here.
You can start teaching people how to drive, (unregistered driving school) for N15k+, 45mins per person daily [you can partner with established driving schools]; or whatever you intended to do.

Don't reveal your total plan to the owner of the car, else he steals the idea from you. Just tell him you want to use it for drop (taxi-drop) business.

Hope my suggestion would be helpful?

I actually prefer this second design to the first one. But it's only fair of the first guy gets the deal. This second person should design for other brands and create a Twitter thread where he'll post them. Hopefully, some big brands will start approaching him.
.
.
I remember Nigeria gave about $400k for Nigeria Air's logo to a company in Bahrain.
It's all a sham.
A Nigerian most likely designed that logo and got paid peanuts while the Nigerian that registered his company in Bahrain got the lion share of our public funds.
But what do I know?
Wasn't Jonathan's government the wasteful looters?
