This is what lack of political education led us to, our lawmakers both Senate and House of reps are not primarily saddled with the responsibility of distributing motorcycles,grinders etc but to sponsor bills that will have impact on the lives of their constituents. Hon. Femi is not to be blamed likewise other lawmakers because, this empowerment is the yardstick most electorates used in voting for candidates forgetting their main assignment of total representation and sponsoring of bills that would make life easy for them.

Talking about South west voting against Jonathan, it wasn't because of marginalization to some extent but because the south west wanted total overhaul of the economy. Jonathan at that time was a failed leader. I will still say this, if we had Jonathan as the President now things would be hard than this.

LG election conducted under the authority of the governor would surely be selection and not election, we can only have fair elections at the LG level if it's been conducted by INEC.

Gov.Fayose is the maradona of this time,always coming in several dimensions, I don't know the correlation between Tinubu's issue in his political party with the Yoruba race. I'm a Yoruba,Tinubu is fighting for his self acclaimed power taken away from him and not for the Yorubas. Fayose should find another way to praise Tinubu or probably another way to show his admiration for Tinubu.

I do not believe in placing one above the other based on the institutions one attends, the real brilliance depends on the individual himself. A graduate of Yobe state university may triumph a graduate from one of the top universities in Nigeria perhaps he has all it takes within him. The university is only there to help you discover yourself and doesn't make you superior to other counterparts from other universities until you prove yourself to be,base on your intelligence and brilliance.

Fortunately unfortunate I am studying the combination of the two fields,business education (marketing). I don't see myself in any of the field next year but if I would choose,I will choose teaching over marketing. Teaching is less stressful, you tend to have time for yourself but the pay might be ridiculous in some schools.

Quite annoying and amusing, neither APC nor PDP took the the blames when these students performed woefully in the past but one is trying to laud itself and take the honour away from students,teachers and parents who deserved the credits.
As someone who knows Ekiti well,I will give kudos to the students, parents and teachers and not fayose or fayemi that had left since 2014 and claiming glory of 2016. If fayemi and Ekiti APC are commending themselves for this,I feel APC and Buhari at the Federal level should stop blaming PDP anymore and start blaming themselves for the economic woes of today.

Ekiti doesn't need all these things,although the state is backward in term of infrastructures. Ekiti state is a civil service state,Fayose should get himself out of non payment of salaries before embarking on white elephant project like this.
I could remember vividly that Fayose condemned the Government lodge built by Fayemi but to my greatest surprise, Fayose lives in that lodge.

These people protesting apparently don't know what is actually going on in the school, the state government since last year had stopped paying subvention to the university. The vice chancellor in his own wisdom has been paying salaries with the university IGR and that is why the university has been strike-free while mist state unis are on strike. Although, I frown at the issue of double payments for admission screening but the issue of acceptance fee being 50000 is reasonable because of the state of things.

This is why I detest some pastors. Yoruba will say ''A Kin Gbo buburu lenu A bore'' meaning you don't hear bad things from the custodians of gods...Why will a pastor say a fellow human being like him will die all in the name of making money and more ''CLIENTS''

All I want to see is a concise speech prepared by the president himself not the one prepared by Shehu and Adesina, for him to read,of which he never meant any single word in the speech . The first day I heard the word padding in Nigeria, I took my mobile dictionary to find the meaning of the word , on getting the meaning I asked myself why didn't the media use MANIPULATION. If the word manipulation had been used on the budget saga,Dogara wouldn't have said manipulation is not a crime.

I'm not one of the students union executives neither one of the principal officers of the institution, I'm just a student of the university . On the issue you raised here,I'm happy to tell you that the Students union had worked on the issue which the registrar justified the new payment of N5600.

This man has said the truth,we are already feeling it but the funniest part is that one APC chieftain or the minister of information will come to disown this statement hoping to keep deceiving us.

Nigeria is in a big mess,it's a very big shame on Nigerians and Nigeria government when a government board under the ministry of sports fights its patriots on money given to them by an individual from another country for the outstanding job they have done. What kind of image are they portraying to the Japanese billionaire,the people of Japan and the world at large? If Nigeria is entirely broke,why can't go begging from affluent countries?

EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY 21st CONVOCATION CEREMONY

The vice chancellor, Prof Oye Bandele during the 21st convocation ceremony of the university press briefing said the breakdown of graduands for the 21st convocation shows that 3,054 are full-time
students, 392 for sandwich, 10,613 for affiliate colleges and
3,937 part-time students.
“For those in the post-graduate classes, 78 are Ph.D
degrees, 366 for masters, 127 for professional masters and
118 are for post-graduate diploma.

“In all, 24 students are to bag First Class honours degree.
“Some Nigerians, including Governor Seriake Dickson of
Bayelsa, will be conferred with honorary Doctorate Degrees
at the convocation.”
