Bayo shittu is nobody in Oyo state politics, being a minister doesn't make him have a bright chance come 2019. I am happy to tell you he can't even win in Oke-ogun, that he comes from. Bayo shittu was appointed as a minister to my own best knowledge because he was of the defunct CPC and not because he is known in Oyo state politics. Don't forget Bayo shittu is one of the incompetent ministers in buhari's cabinet. |
Jammah has bitten more than he can chew, I see crisis looming in Gambia. |
It's no news that as we move into new year, religious leaders tend to make prophecies for the newly born year. We have seen some pastors make prophecies on Nigerian politicians and most prominent Nigerians, predicting one or two things especially bad occurrence that might happen to them. This act is most common among Christian clerics, i am yet to see an Islamic cleric making prophecies, this is not to demean the followers of Christ anyway. I have the following questions to ask nairalanders on prophecies made on every new year by religious leaders. 1) Do you see these predictors as really talking from what the Almighty God revealed to them? 2) God is believed to be of good while Satan is of bad, why religious leaders are always predicting bad? 3) Do you see them as attention seekers, especially from the political class? 4) Are they not ashamed of making prophecies that we still turn out to be false? They call it prophecy anyway, it might turn out to be false just because it is prediction. |
I don't see these pastors talking truth, all they say is just to gain popularity and seek undue relevance. |
I have been experiencing same too right from when I was a little boy. I think and reason a lot, I sometimes do question God existence within myself and ask myself questions on how the future looks like. I can't sit alone for one minute without having any issue to think of, although I can't say i am an introvert but I love thinking and reasoning. |
Let me make my first post for this year 2017 |
Oni is still young, moving from one place to the other shouldn't be a task on him unlike some aged obas. |
You never mentioned divine guidance when you were seeking for votes, you were so sure of your ability to turn things around. |
Comparing public universities with private universities based on numbers of first class graduates is abnormal and doesn't make public universities to be above private universities in anyway. If a student deserve an 'A', give it to him or her, I can say that's actually absent in public universities just because they(lecturers) so desire to be sadists. You are being given what you deserve in private universities, the learning environment is conducive, learning facilities are present, lecturers come to class regularly. In public universities, you struggle to learn under a harsh environment I can't forget what I went through in my first and second year in general courses but all the same I struggled to get my 'As and Bs'. Public universities learning environment are not learners friendly and that is where private universities students get it right and excel, I could remember when I visited a friend working at. Afe babalola university, I was so amazed with the electricity supply, infrastructural evolvement in the school, sport facilities and hostel facilities present. Although students are paying heavily for it but what can I say about my own university, where we pay 7500 for health services but sick students are being given paracetamol for malaria, N7500 from over 30000 students is enough to upgrade the health service delivery in the university to a reasonable state. Private universities are making judicious use of their students fee while the little federal and state universities are getting are not being used effectively, perhaps they are not enough. You don't expect any good thing to come out from where students learn in a harsh environment. I'm not part of those that say when they grow up and become a father, they will send their children to public universities. Baba God should do well for me and make me send my kids to top rated universities preferably privates and foreign universities. I am a student of a state university, I know how harsh the environment is and as an educationist I know the effect of a poor learning environment and facilities on students performance. |
Who wants to be a millionaire shouldn't be there, it's a game intelligence that gives one reward of ones intelligence. If who want to be a millionaire is on the list, school debates and quiz competitions should be listed likewise Quranic quiz and competitions |
MMM has been given a bad name, the wife probably might had used the money for another thing but freezing of MMM will exonerate her. People that doesn't know how MMM operates are now using MMM as an excuse. |
I see no difference this budget will make, the 2016 budget wasn't implemented successfully as there were accusations, counter accusations on this year budget till this moment. Why do we budget for what we won't implement? |
billyG:You don't seem to understand what actually led to their sacking. I will suggest you read the news again, it was stated there that the employment didn't follow due process. It's a norm for any recruitment in government establishments to be advertised, the recruitment wasn't advertised and those employed were employed based on long leg. |
Eksu has staff strength of over 1500 which comprises 500 academic staff and the rest are non academic. Adding 400 persons to the payroll will be a very big problem for the institution, the academic staff are currently on strike due to non payment of salary. The best move has been taken by governor. |
Congrats to the man...Donald is a prepared leader compared to President Buhari that spent six months before constituting his cabinet. |
Johnnyessence:Do u live in Ekiti? Are you from Ekiti? if any of the two is No, just eat your words. |
Sellers in Ekiti state are extortionists, they can frustrate someone with their unbearable price of commodities. |
Buhari government is always after the average
Nigerians, imaging an increase in cost of data? when
Internet is the only option for the average Nigerian to
browse away his sorrow. Let's say no to increase in cost

Dino would have sponsored more than twenty bills within his short stay in the senate |
Atiku is presently 70, he would be 73 by 2019 and some set of people below 30 are already chanting Atiku for 2019. When will Nigeria stop running gerontocracy? |
gregyboy:ASUU strike in poly? bro try to find the difference between ASUU and ASUP and University and Polytechnic. |
He is insulting himself, he was one of those that caused the mess on ground. Never will I vote for him if he comes in 2019. Nigerian graduates that will vote for him in 2019, are those he is referring to, not we the intelligent Nigerian graduates. |
Congratulations....You are moving up to greater place. |
Directly or indirectly he is saying APC stay at FG level won't exceed 2019. He said APC won't win the 2015 election but they won. |

May his soul rest in peace. Terrorism is evil,it's a crime on the God they felt they are doing it for. |
Religion is the hope of those that feel they are hopeless. |
This is the jenifa that has been destroying our ladies spoken English, DSS should arrest her immediately. |
Udoma Udoma,I guess he's a lawyer and we can't be expecting wonders from someone that wasn't trained as an economic planner or has professional experience in that role. Buhari caused this by putting square peg in a round hole. |
Now, just a pure water sachet costs N20 in Ekiti State University. What has this country turned to? |
