My father happened to be the first son of my grandfather who automatically inherit his lands and other properties.

My father just died and since I'm the first son of my father. Which means I'm automatically inherit and in charge of those inheritance.

Now my uncles are all ganging up against me. These guys not allowing me to do the burial of my father who passed away for a while now.

They keep giving different excuses on why the burial will not hold.

They gang up and cancel the burial i fixed previously and I lost everything. All what I spent for the burial arrangements was wasted.

I really want to charge them for this.

They are using the influence that if they are not in support the burial will not hold.

These uncles has really fustrate me and I keep spending money and wasting my precious time traveling back to the village for series of meetings just to please them.

Yet they're not approving my burying my father. Not like they are giving me any money for the burial. I'm the one handling it yet they no gree.

They said i cannot inherit the grandfather and my father's properties..so I cannot do my father burial. And these are for their own selfish motives.

The Kingsman and the king supports me and has cautious the uncles to desease from such. But yet they still persist.

I have tried to make peace and peace with them as family concern but yet they are all still ganging up. And wow to fustrate me.

Now my patience has ruined out. I'm in mood for actions now.

I want to take matter higher than the community level with them now.

I'm thinking taking them to court now. But I don't know the process.

I'm seeking for the right direction i can take to solve such issue.

From my observations, I assume they are trying to pay back your father with his own coin. Reason been that, from what you wrote, you claim been the first son you father inherited all... And I assume they have been dragging this issues with your father before he passed away to let them share the properties between/among them but he refused. Hence now that he's dead, they felt that since he once deprive them when he's in power and now is their time. May viewing based on your write up. If you can respond to this my assumption, then I might be able to guide you on way forward....

Try to read to understand and not just to read only. I'm only talking about the newly federal college of education and not other institution. I said all the newly established federal college of education are yet to employ....

It is possible because there are exceptions. Fed Uni of Health Sciences , Otukpo is a new university and the embargo did not affect them. The six newly established Colleges of Education, new Polytechnics and new Universities that were established after the implementation of IPPIS have been capturing their new Staff.

This is not true as non of the newly established federal college of education have recruit staff let alone capturing.

NIMASA...another batch of recruitment is due this quarter of the year..

NASRDA.... Will also be be recruiting openly this year as the agency is short of technical staff to carry out it operations.

I'm currently having issues in the place I stay, I am a student that rented an apartment close to school, and ever since this landlady and her children have been a thorn in my flesh and even other neighbors.

Let me narrate what happened.
I'm not a perfect grammar person and please read to the end.

In the place I stay, there's a well we fetch water from, so last week Sunday the well was locked up, which was very unusual... It was locked up from morning till night, nobody in the compound could access water.. I couldn't cook nor bath, so in the evening I decided to go ask the landlady why the well was locked and ask for the key so I can get water.

On getting to the landlady's place, I greeted her and asked calmly why the well was locked up, before I knew what was happening her son came out and told me to get out of there... I was very shocked and surprised, that I came to ask for the key to the well and he just tells me to walk out like that.

I told him I'm here to ask why the well was locked and collect the key, and that I cannot just walk out like that.

Before I knew what was happening, the boy started getting aggressive and he was threatening that he would kill me and was making all sort of threats, before I knew it... He attacked me, both the mom and the son with their last daughter.

They pushed me to the wall, which I sustained an injury at the back of my hand, the landlady was trying to get me naked by pulling the short I was wearing... I wore this short because I wanted to collect the key, fetch water and take my bathe.

So as she was trying to pull down my shorts and get me naked, I had to bite her a little so she could release her hand from my shorts.

The neighbors gathered because of the noise and saw the three of them against me.
Then I left there and went and open the well which they padlocked, then they came down and insisted that nobody would use the well.

It was then that someone told me the reason why they locked the well was because the son of the landlady had an issue with someone early in the morning while the both of them were fetching water and he locked up the well to deal with the person... Thus causing inconveniences for the remaining tenants.

The next day they(landlady and her son) went to the police to report the matter.

And they lied to the police that they locked up the well because the tenants were polluting the well.
Then they reported that I came to their house to attack them and I bite her.

Then the police came and took me and the neighbor that had disagreement with the son that resulted in them locking up the well.

We left the police station that same day and we went back in two days time for interview..
At the interview the police asked us to settle the matter amicably, but they proposed that they want to go to court and if we don't want to go to the court, that we'll have to pay the sum of 50k.

The 50k is for the money she used to treat herself, which is a lie. One of the neighbor in the compound overheard her making arrangements with a pharmacist to manipulate the bill of drugs she got.

And aside that, up till now they have refused to open the well for the whole compound to use, but they themselves are still using it, despite claiming that it was polluted.

Now my Daddy had to call her and beg and he told her to calm down that he would pay her 15k but she refused, that it's the 50k or we go to court.

Now my question is.

Was I wrong in the first place for going to ask of the key to the well that was locked up without proper information of why it was locked, and this well is the well we've been using since we packed in?

The second question is, if we go to the court now, what are the penalties I would have to face if I was wrong?

And finally, is it right for a Landlady to lock up the well that everyone uses because of an issue with one of the tenants?

This place is in Enugu State.

REASONS

You will be charge to court by the police.

You will be remind at correctional facility for the next hearing by the judge

You will have to get a lawyer to stand for you and perfect your bail

You will be ask to look for a guarantor in like sum within the court jurisdiction as your bail condition

And pending the perfection of your bail, you will be put in correctional facility


And at the end of the day, you will spend mimo than the 50k...

So kindly sort for the money and pay her at once.

Am in level 9 in Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps but the job is not adding any value to me aside the monthly salary yet after every deduction no money will follow you to new month (salary not too good). So i couldn't travel again..

Now that my savings isn't enough to start up a POS business, i'm thinking of starting up a standard akara and akamu business and probably extend the business along the run..

Ops you can start POS business with #65k. Just that it will be much easier if you already have pos machine and which you can get mpos@ 15k and 20k at POS respectively. But the only issue will be that your capital might not be enough for daily withdrawal by your customers. But then if you are within University setting, certainly #65k is more than enough as 55% of students withdraw little cash.
Back to your Akara business, you CAN providing you can put behind your shyness and live your life accordingly. Note, been a Man making Akara business will be added advantage as people will love to patronize you.

A lady really annoyed me this morning.
I had gone to the park to board a taxi back home. The guy who was loading for the driver directed me to the taxi that was loading. An elderly guy sat at the front seat while a lady was seated by the door and she was the only one sitting at the back. Note that the drivers take three passengers at the back.
Immediately I saw how the lady sat at the door- her body language- I decided to enter from the other side but another passenger beat me to it plus I was approaching the taxi from her side to I just decided to enter through there.
The lady rather than shift to the middle came out for me to enter without any form of excuse which I found annoying.
I made my displeasure know to her but she just kept mute as if no be human being dey follow talk. I still repeated myself.this lady just start blowing out like burning charcoal, shouting at the top of her voice that "do I think she is a baby for me to treat her like that".

To make matters worse,the passengers and driver were telling me to not retaliate because na women. Na so we go continue to dey tolerate nonsense. Even na guy, I go still tell am wetin he do no correct.

If I get your point, you're expecting her to shift inside while you sit right? Who does that? You met her in a public transport and you are expecting her to sold her right for you, oh are you related or like I'm missing something here? Well, the lady has done nothing wrong but only protecting her right.
