While WhatsApp, Facebook & Instagram were experiencing difficulties I got a debit alert from my access bank account

I have tried to think if I used my card on any site but the only platform I use my card is on the 3 aforementioned. I checked the description and saw the biller as Seerbit Lagos. Truth is this is my first time of seeing that company name.

I don’t know what to do cos 2,000 naira is big money under Buhari regime o!!!

Someone said maybe the hackers that hacked Facebook and others were responsible for selling users bank details to Nigerian scammers. Did anyone else experience unexpected debit?

I got the same debit yesterday for a supposed Netflix subscription. I reached out to Netflix and I was told my card details are not linked to any Netflix account.

I called Access bank this morning and they are insisting that I carried out a transaction on the 24th of September that was not debited till yesterday. As usual, they're trying to pin it on me using my card on a website.

I just will try sending a direct complaint to the CBN after the 72 hours waiting time for card related complaint. I don't get why you'll wait for two weeks to debit a transaction I don't even know about.

It really make sense d way u just told us a little about UK. It fine but d comparison part is different. In Ibadan, u see a "face me I face u' apartment for 20k to 40k. But in Lagos, u will see a 'face me I face u' for over 180k. Ibadan and Lagos salary payments are highly different. Lagos pays higher in all aspect than Ibadan. So u now comparing 1 pound = 550 naira is different. U said d apartment is high but u never mentioned ur salary, u are earning more than d apartment rent for sure but u never mentioned d good part.

I am proud Igbos do no such thing. I strongly support that house of assembly in Igbo lands criminalize the art of kneeling to greet, lying on the ground to greet or undue hailing of anybody be you a religious or traditional figure. We respect people that do so in their tradition but this is not in line with our tradition.

Don't worship anyone except God. Nobody should have an excessive power over you. Just honor the elder and your parents. But don't go extra mile. It is called mental freedom.
