ndidi will not remain with leicester for long
ONE OF THE TOP 5 in the EPL WILL COME FOR HIM ....If Everton is wise they should just grab him , that guy single handedly kept Leicester in that position , forget the rubbish others has been playing ... the only stand out player in that team ... is Morgan and Ndidi ... even Kelechi and Musa has been a shadow of themselves .

for this I want germany in the final..
Please dont even try begging me
We have to teach Mr Low a lesson

this German coach rating will shift other managers attention away from us , thank God fifa added their own to it , which make it look like double tragedy ... but its a blessibng in disguise, cos the team is not ready yet and we re far from it , until we have a solid defence and prolific strikers upfront .... as it stands , going to world cup with this present crop of players , its still second round as usual. Morocco had the best defence and conceded the least no. of goals in the world cup qualifiers .... this is an opportunity to seat tight and put things in place , if we must do well .

if AKPEYI CALLED THE FIRST ONE "ERROR OR MISTAKE" ... WHAT ABOUT THE ONE HE MADE AT THE 37TH MINUTE OF THE MATCH ?? THE GUY NEEDS A PSYCHOLOGIST ... HE KEEP FORGETTING HIMSELF .

in that goal keeping department we need a capable hand .. Rohr cant afford to gamble ...

nice suggestion, but i'm afraid only Iwobi can comfortably play that role Mikel is playing.
Iwobi present position provide more goals for us . I have noticed that . We must have that replacement and let iwobi play has SS . Even if Rohr is changing tactics , we still someone who can role with the ball in that middle and a player with an eye for splitting passes .

I think we need a good ball holder and passer like Mikel. I think those are the qualities we miss whenever he is not on the pitch.
I think emphasis needs to be put on ball holding before we start throwing names

Modified
Okocha was somewhat a ball holder because it was hard for an opponent take the ball from him because of his sublime tricks. Mikel, rather, guides the ball so well, hence was able to replace Okocha in this respect. Okocha's passing is supreme though.
You re right , a good ball holder will do the magic . Their is a guy in the Nigeria League , still trying to remember his name . He played during the Olympic qualifier and had issue with Sia1 . Please help me with name . Where is that guy he plays that role better too , what league is he presently huh

we need to play our next friendlies without mikel ... if we must do well in in the world cup ,its so obvious we lost lost a match and drew one without mikel , ... Rohr should look for someone to deputise him ... SHOPPING FOR A MIKEL DEPUTY SHOULD BE THE NEXT TASK FOR ROHR .

GUYS LETS MAKE A SHOPPING LIST FOR HIM ...

SO FAR I CAN ONLY THINK OF :
joel Obi
Sone Aluko
Azeez Ajagun
Chidiebere Nwakali
.

lets list players who can play in that role

what a victory ! i greet you all . has anyone been taken note of the new passing style in the super eagles ... diagonal style that you can't predict who will have the ball next ? ...this has been our strenght . and i noticed its ochestrated in such a way to break any defence ... i noticed the same style of passing against ZAMBIA ... that lead to the winning goal ... same style was used against Argentina and it produced 2 goals . i so far i am satisfied ...and i am sure it will get better .

Watching the Italy versus Sweden game. Italy playing with 3 5 2.

Do we have the resources to play with 3 at the back?
Italy have been effective so far, the 3 defenders(chiellini, barzagli and bunocci) are very good with the ball on their feet. They have been creating chances right from the back. The wing backs(darmain and candreva) have also been decent.

dont be surprise Italy may not qualify

newsbook:
Algerian national team coach Rabah Madjer says the Super Eagles of Nigeria were scared of them after playing to a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Madjer was speaking after their last match of their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier campaign in Group B, saying Gernot Rohr’s men were scared of losing the match.

However, goals from John Ogu and Yacine Brahimi’s penalty saw the Desert Warriors securing a point at home.

You consider Chinese league not competitive, 5 players from the Chinese league are in the Brazilian squad. Striker Tardelli, Paulinho, Hulk, to name a few could be more.

The league is good enough for the team selection of Brazil arguably the best team in the world this decade but not good enough for Nigeria.

Yet some have written off Obagoal for players who have not achieved and may never achieve one tenth of what he has achieved in football.
will you consider Obagoal in the super eagles ? are you clamouring for his call up .

Aguero scored is 1st goal in 2 years now against Russia in the int'l friendlies. Aguero would have been axed from national team if he was in SE. Nigerians are impatent
I STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH YOU , Aguero's recent perfomance at club level has kept him in that team ... Nigeria players that were axed from the team didnt have any good club perfomance, also national team perfomance was awful . Only martins had fair performance and he's not playing in a competitive league...in fact , hes close to retirment .

For a fact agbo and agu are more card prone midfielders than Ogu, I'm not saying he's the best but give the man credit when due, his interception, tackles were vital to us in that match.
Agbo and Agu were in in my picks either ...you need to go and what that match very well ... my comment about Ogu wasn't based on that match alone ... cos it was inconsequential ... Ogu is a rough tackler ... 5 past matches for eagles 3 yellow cards 2 GOALS

yea u are right on Peter likely to add something new to the team but i want to see Osimhen and Awoniyi in camp cos i don't think Nwakaeme is better than the duo.
i have not really watched this guys plays ...until i see AWONIYI ... the last time i watched hs game was during the olympic qualifiers and for Osimhen ,it was during the Olympic. i think we need tested players who are ready to stand their ground . we re going to the worldcup where the best compete. Osimhen and Awoniyi CAN WAIT TILL 2022,

Nwakaeme good for Eagles?with what i saw against Algeria,we don't need him.

We need a striker that w gives Ighalo and Iheanacho stiff competition not mediocre, hope to see Kayode against Argentina.

Also waiting for Rohr to extend invitation to Peter Onuachu and let see what he got to offer.

I don't know why we keep on deceiving ourselves, better to have Osimhen or Awoniyi in the team than Nwakaeme.
that Peter is a lanky kind of player that may be something neew to the team ... its means ones hes on the pitch everyone will have to play for him ... his height is an added advantage and he is skilful , but i really dont know what the real life experience will be grin grin grin grin what i saw on youtube looks yummy and appetising for any soccer follower grin grin grin grin

Naija people sha!!! You play well they go complain, if you no play well them still complain.
Ogu was absolutely brilliant in that match, in my opinion apart from mikel he's the best at interceptions, passes and ball holding skills, he controls a midfield and his positioning is good,he's not as slow as you guys make him look here... it's baffling that the guy who won the man of the match is still criticized..the reality right now is that you should not be suprised if he becomes a regular because he took his chance in that match. I would not be suprised if onazi sees more of the bench after the Algeria game.
its been long we play with one man down ... if OGU BECOMES A STARTER , WE WILL ALWAYS EXPERIENCE THAT .... Especially against a skilful midfield . deny him of the ball and lose your leg ... i am not saying he cant get better but he needs to improve in that aspect of his games ... it was his goal that earned him that MOTM . his performance was average .

If Ogu's performance is your definition of 'fantastic' then I Argentina will destroy us. Le2 me ask you some questions, which position was Ogu playing in the first and second half?
Ogu was poor , in that Zambia match ,...and i have watched his games so many times , had a lot of bad tackles in the past which had earned him a yellow card during the days of Keshi .....his good side his the ability to take a long range shot and intercept passes . aside this , his timings are always wrong ... maybe he can improve . i will pick any of our regulars ahead of him ...
