TheSuperNerd:
3 PL MOTM awards already for Victor Moses...

I'm so happy with his performance.

If our players fired in all cylinders come August .... We may be among the team that will welcome other countries to Russia .

In any football match victory for Nigeria is sweet . In any match Nigeria vs Ghana ...victory is sweeter .

Waiting for their fall again as usual .

goldfish80:
If that's the case, he should drop Iheanacho too. He was not impressive against Algeria leading the line.
Yellow journalism at its best.

Are you sure u ve been following the super eagles ? Odion Ighalo has not been impressive , going by the number of appearances for the club and country .... what is the usefulness of a striker if he can score goals ?
Mahrez no see ball play[/quo

I was actually looking for Maharez . Someone said he's one of the assistant referee .
Nothing is certain yet but I am begining to incline towards the thinking that our forward line could look like this:

...... ........Iheanacho
..................Etebo
Iwobi.................................Moses

Etebo could be switching positions with Iwobi intermitently.

chai! if these four players plus Mikel play to their potentials today, these Algerians will see fire and brime stone.

Time to offload Ighalo and Ideye they yaf tried. But now the potentials of this team have out grown them.

Isaac Success and Olanrewaju Kayode should replace them in the squad.

Kayode and Success should be invited for the
March friendlies.

This ur formation and attack line Na die .... I see u scoring more than 2 goals what I am not sure of is our defense line , I think this match will have upto 4 goals .

This is the wrong platform to ask ... cos it shouldn't be a guess work . The goal keeper trainer will have idea of their performances and he knows their track record .

This qualifier is beyond guesswork , we have done that in the past and we re still nursing the injury . Rohr and the crew has the answers .

Oga Rohr over to u . Who should be between the sticks for the super eagles ?

lakesidepapa:
Nice selection and formation, but the bench will be weak.

The bench will not be weak . Don't forget Musa is still there on his good day , he can play like blazing theowalcot . But on his bad day he will remain "as Musa"
You also have either Ighalo or ideye .... I know some of the home base had to pave way for Isaac success and Ighalo . This formation yielded result of Chelsea , the made Leicester looked like a team battling relegation .

3:4:3 formwation requires a workaholic Dm . Just exactly the same way Kante played for Chelsea yesterday . Is Mikel ready to play that way ?

@ tbaba .fantastic interview ! I think at the moment he is the best man for the job , cos he understand what he came to do , our problems has always been the defense , and attack , (link up play) and he's gradualy fixing it .... I just love the prospect of the team , it's flooded with young super special talents that will make his Job easy , we have experienced player in the necessary department , both in the midfield and the goal keeping department . People who are clamouring for experience . We don't lack that .

I feel the team will get better if he introduces more younger bloods .

We have a natural right back what we lack is a left back and if he keeps working he wll fix that problem . Nice interview ones again

I stumbled on this and I was amazed . So kelechi has scored in 4 consecutive matches for the super eagles to superceed the record of late Rasheed Yekini and coach Samson sia1 .

This is not a bad record . More to come, I pray he stays injury free.

I think this award will be between Maharez of Algeria and The Gabonese guy Pierre Abumayang ....

People clamoring for iheanacho and Iwobi , they re not there yet . They should be getting ready cos they will take Africa and the world by storm . I just like the competetion in that age group ... I think it will be to our advantage . Iheanacho , Iwobi , Isaac success , Moses Simon ...someone should continue with the list .

This news like something we should rejoice for .... more 9 points at home will qualify us .

forgiveness:
Although, I didn't have the opportunity to see the first half but I was able to see 40 minutes before the end of the second half.

I think we have dwelt much on the first eleven without considering their replacement in case of any eventuality.

First of all, I noticed the defence could not withstand countless waves of attacks. Especially from the wing backs.

It seems we depend too much on Mikel Obi and Onazi in the midfield.

I don't understand why our coaches don't like doing the right thing.

Why use a defender/defensive midfield as a wing back when we have Brain Idowu and Tyrone Ebuechi who plays regularly for their teams?

Moses Odubanjo and Ola Aina dey dere too but dem go wan squeeze dem players into the team.

I think it is high time we look for credible left back too. Elderson Echiejile seems to be another weak link at the back.

Taye Taiwo still plays better than all the players tested so far and he is the only left back playing regularly. But he must be tried in a friendly before the qualifiers.

Kenneth Otigba must be called.

Who can replace/substitute Iheanacho and Iwobi should be the next thing a reasonable coach should think of.

You are correct about the analysis you gave but , I think Ogeyi Onazi lead to that pressure , he was enjoying the party in front (tiki-takes ) between Iwobi , iheanacho and Mikel , he came to join them and he exposed the back line to unecessary pressure , I think Onazi should be discipline and must play to instructions . As time goes on the team will get better , Leon will join them , I really pity oboabona , his days are numbered .

I ve seen 2 lethargic combination .... I don't know if someone else have seen this? Guess! They oney ones played together when they were much younger . If u watch Nigeria vs Mexico at the under 17 World Cup in 2013 you will understand my point better .

The future we have been waiting for is almost here .... golden generation gradually gathering momentum .lol

I am so sure they can't get children arrangement right , same way they placed the babies 6 year ago .

There's something about the Kelechi's .... we they always know how to score goals . Even my friend that can't kick ball .... the wife gave birth to triplets . ...Kelechi's are goal machine

Investigate him and jail him , playing without a goal keeper will not lead to 43 goal .
I'm learning, please what makes it smart? [/quote

Anything can make it smart boy , it may have some gadgets installed in its to enhance it overall performance , you can make ur car a smart car , depending on what u need it for .... Have u hear of the word " customized "

He has really worked hard....football is about luck. U ve worked hard and you are lucky to be there today .congrats bro!

Any right thinking person will not say this ...

Remove , photographer and sculpture from that list , they are both old profession .

Man city denied Man U of everything .... Goals , ball, just mention anything .

The only thing I can pick from this is that Guodiola doesn't like player that talks too much , also player that party a lot ..... (Zlatan, Eto , and yaya , even Hart fell in this category . ) zlatan should do the talking on the pitch tomorrow .

A well deserved award , I like player that can shoulder the problem of his team, he knows that the team needs a goal and he went for it . Not just a goal but a scintillating one!

This Saturday’s Manchester derby is set to be the most expensive clash in footballing history with the 22 players in our predicted line-up costing nearly £640m in transfer fees, but which squad is worth more?

Man U fan come and defend your club .
city fan , you can do the same .

It's been long I see this kind of killer instinct in super eagle , going for the kill when it is right needed ....thumbs up iheanacho !

She understands the rule of the game and she plays by the rule .... What a smart lady!

Daninya11:
It is said that, Attackers win you games but Defenders win you Trophies..

Whatever happens on Wednesday, I am proud of this team despite all the challenges that marred their preparation right into the tournament.

Don't worry friend , we will beat them , they ve conceded goals in the past and they will concede more goals

I hope he listens ... Don't go there to distract them !

zoboizee:
I think Mikel is best of a defensive midfielder. he's had more interception than usman. Imoh still the most enterprising so far. My best- Imoh, Shehu, Mikel, Etebo, & Troost.. That Amusie positioning & crossing needs lots of improvement.

If i don't want to mention the established player , my best at this tournament is sheu , he reminds me of Philip Lahm at his young age . Always attacking .

He suffered humiliation from cortinho the bad guy.

tbaba1234:
In other news, I got married this weekend. Friday and Saturday. I barely watched the match. Saw highlights though.

Who has watched the Germans play? How good are they?

Congrats bro , wish you a blissful marriage life ... Welcome to the club !
