In reality Nigeria has never been free from colonialism, your own country people who are not living in the imaginary world are crying about the south africanization of your country, while clueless and fools like you expose their dumbness' by singing empty praises...if you come to SA with that big flat...head and behave like an animal, ordinary citizens will do some panelbeatings, thats the reality no flath..ead can dodge...its unfortunate that xenophobic attacks affected some of our fellow brothers from other countries but the intention was to panelbeat your country flath..eads...because they are criminals and fraudsters...Nigerians are xenophobic, unfortunately you can't show it because you know the retaliation will be fatal,as you are all refugees in foreign lands...
Zulu please post reality not emotions. There are only two countries socially colonising south Africans with dire consequences. They are Nigerians and Zimbabweans.

I go to the streets of south Africa and I see many many young children of Nigerian fathers and South African mothers.

I see many of your young girls as mistresses and drug couriers for Nigerian men. http://mobi.iol.co.za/#!/article/sa-drug-mules-young-single-moms-1.1520040

My car parts seller has two kids flown from south Africa by a south African mother.

Your young population are dropping out of school and turning into drug peddlers and street urchins.

Your elite population are flocking into the synagogue for spiritual upliftment

Your pastors are feeling neglected and are so desperate to mimicking their Nigerian counterparts they are now preaching from open coffins and eating live snakes in a desperate show to outshine their charismatic Nigerian counterparts grin grin grin

You're right; Nigerians seldom fall victims to xenophobia. That's because we live right next to your white masters whose statue you dread more than live snake.

Go zulu, keep up chanting kill the Boers as they take their companies away from your shores and run to Nigeria.

Bloody illiterate.

xenophobia started in your zoo called Nigeria,Ghanaians can attest to that...your flath...ead brothers get some panel beatings sometime to remind them that they have got their own zoo,a black south African looked on the white man face before your zoo called Nigeria came to existence, when your forefathers were selling their own children for slavery to the whites, mine were busy fighting them...poor flath..ead,let your imagination not deceive you...you are a Nigerian,to me you are dirty and poor...thats all
I can't blame you for being a poor history student. I honestly dont expect more from a Zulu. After all when most of Africa was free of colonialism, Zulus were still up in the trees and high in jungles and deep in the caves away form civilization . The rest of Africa had to rally round to preserve what is left of the humanity of Zulus grin grin grin

Alright take your history 101: Nigerians are not xenophobic. We are accommodating because we are self-secured and believe no one superior to us. We don't blame foreigners for any short coming. We tackle it head on.

In the '80 illegal Ghanaians were deported by THE GOVERNMENT AND CONVEYED FREELY LIKE EVERY CIVILISED NATIONS DO.

SOUTH AFRICA ON THE OTHER HAND ARE A GROUP OF CRIMINALS, ENVIOUSLY INFERIOR, LACKING IN SELF-WORTH AND ASSESSMENT, SUFFERING FROM 400 YEARS OF APARTHEID SYNDROME AND ALWAYS SUSPICIOUS OF ANY HUMAN BETTER THAN THEM.

THUS, IN 3 SEPARATE ATTACKS SPANNING 6 YEARS , SOUTH AFRICANS HAD SUCCESSFULLY RAIDED AND KILLED FOREIGNERS AND CATERED AWAY THEIR PROPERTIES AND BELONGING WITHOUT A HINT OF SHAME.

I'M TEMPTED TO BELIEVE THAT THE HORMONES OF SOUTH AFRICANS ARE ALIEN TO THE EMOTIONS OF SHAME AND PRIDE.

Daily Reminder:

1. We did not scurry to return the money, we did so after you agreed to our terms.

2. How irrelevant is a country like Nigeria "the biggest economy in Africa" has only got a government revenue of $22 billion... while little old South Africa has a government revenue of $87 billion - OUR GOVERNMENT HAS 4X THE CAPITAL YOURS DOES
https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/fields/2056.html

3. Mass population growth = mass problems. You are bigger than us, yet we have more money than you... whom is better off?

4. We have the most advanced economy on the continent

5. We have the most developed country on the continent
http://www.afdb.org/fileadmin/uploads/afdb/Documents/Publications/Economic_Brief_-_The_Africa_Infrastructure_Development_Index.pdf

6. We are amongst the most developed people on the continent - Nigerians amongst the least

7. We are the most technologically advanced country on the continent
http://answersafrica.com/top-10-most-technologically-advanced-countries-in-africa.html/2

8. You talk of literacy?
Literacy rate RSA: 86%
Literacy rate NIG: 68%
http://theafricaneconomist.com/ranking-of-african-countries-by-literacy-rate-zimbabwe-no-1/#.VjdjZvkrLcc

It is Nigeria whom is illiterate and mis-informed

But why stop there? Lets continue shall we!

Lets talk about diplomacy:

9. South Africa has 134 foreign embassies and comissions within its borders, Nigeria only 98

10. South Africa is a member of BRICS, Nigeria is not

11. South Africa is a member of the G20, Nigeria is not

As you can see, by every measurable means, South Africa dwarfs Nigeria... you are children before us, children with delusions of grandeur, who play little games and think they are kings. You celebrate your "victories" and we just laugh, knowingly, you celebrate bullying MTN into paying a huge fine... we laugh as the International Markets draw a big red line through your countries name.

We rub shoulders with the rulers of the world. You rub shoulders with Boko Haram and Block Boys. Common thugs, the laughing stock of the world.
Oh, Daily counter points :
You took the bait eventually . Patrick my slave.
I can sure swing your emotions like a car''s faulty fuel gauge.

Let me make you suffer once more

1) South Africa is the most unequal country in the world with a wealth distribution ration of 7% percent whites 85% destitute blacks.
http://www.moneyweb.co.za/archive/sa-most-unequal-country-on-earth-report-ahead-of-d/

2) For your educational system ,please read this : South Africa spends 20% of its budget on education, or 6.4% of GDP (considerably more than many other emerging market economies) and yet performs dismally in international comparisons. The World Economic Forum’s competitiveness index for 2012–2013 ranks South Africa’s overall education system at 140 out of 144 countries, and its maths and science education at 143 out of 144.

The minister of basic education, Angie Motshekga, denies there is a crisis. She must be blind: 1.2m children were enrolled in grade 1 in 2001, but only 44% stayed in the system to take their National Senior Certificate (NSC) in 2012. Only 12% of that grade 1 cohort ended up passing their NSC well enough to study for a university degree; and only 11% passed maths with a mark of 40% or above
http://gga.org/stories/editions/aif-15-off-the-mark/education-in-south-africa-where-did-it-go-wrong

3) You boast of an advanced economy that is underperforming even by African standards

An economy that shrinks and has been predicted negatively by all reputable international analyst. I can't see Japan boasting to China how advance its economy is. Your advance economy is for your 5 % white masters why the rest of the country is at par with Somalia and Burundi.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-08-25/south-africa-s-economic-woes-worsen-as-gdp-contracts-1-3-

4) South Africans are amongst the most uncivilised group in all of Africa, from zulu chanting xenophobic slaves who take pap and meat , to raping anything in sight including 89 year old women and 3 months infants.

South Africa are a group of hungry immigrant whites and tree-hopping baboon-bellowing zulus. The whites were forced by the rest of humanity to stop official racism, while the blacks are officially the last slaves of humanity. Xenophobic dogs.
South Africa is :
Drug headquarters
Rapę headquarters
Xenophobia headquarters
Murder headquarters
Crime headquarters
You want more ?

5 diplomacy? You have so much diplomacy yet you had to bribe to host a world cup when Nigeria challenged you to it ? Building blocks of embassies across the globe doesn't count for influence. Rookie. All your embassies were pre-apartheid attempts to keep the apartheid regime for as long as was possible.

Your diplomacy plus Mandela couldn't help you when a Nigerian military ruler positioned the rest of Africa to isolate you in 1996. History has recorded it as the Nigerian debacle.

6) mentioning brics and g20 means you still live in the past. Your gdp got you there and now it is irrelevant. Your MPs will look foolish and unsure when they attend such gatherings hence forth. You can't represent Africa anymore, son. You have lost big time. The size of your economy that got you in there has all withered away. Bwahahaha.

South Africa is a mere 50 million with a epileptic economy, inequality, escalating HIV rate amongst the population, poor school attendants, drug issues, social unrest and insecurities, high murder rates.

You are a nation of self-hype. Take off your rainbow blinders and see that south Africa is a nation of self-delusion and empty rhetorics

A nation of BEE : incompetence, official theft and unproductivity.

Allow leadership to come to you naturally and never by baseless ambition.

Your white masters export your gold and built companies like shop rite, Games, Dstv and erect skyscrapers in Cape Town and Joburg while you scrap for a living in soweto and khayelitsha.

I have never met anyone half as empty and yet satisfied as a Zulu.

Nigerian drug Lords have turn your streets into Hollywood gang-scene for real. Your girls are having Nigerian babies all over South Africa #FACT. IN THE NEXT 20 YEARS, THERE'S GOING TO BE A SOUTH AFRICAN PRESIDENT WITH A NIGERIAN DESCENT.

Your low school attendance is as a result of young black zulu boys going for illegal gold mining often resulting to health complications from exposure to mercury and inter gang wars from rival illegal refiners .
While others quit school to get employed in the pay role of Nigerian drug Lords as they become street urchins and couriers.

Your young girls have been caught on several occasions at international airports across the globe ferrying drugs for their Nigerian pímpš.

[b]We've been through this so called slum shiiit before and proved that those very places you call biggest slums has better infrastructure then Nigeria's biggest city. Lagos as of today cannot provide 24h power for its area boys yet you have the balls to talk shiiit.

You post old 2011 articles in an attempt to be relevant.

Zim has a better literacy rate and education system then Nigeria and has more migrants in SA so how the hell can you come and say that Nigerians are the most educated in SA
yet you lack in basics compared to Zimbabwe.

Nigeria has by far the biggest drug problem in africa according to WHO yet you ignorant jealous #asshole talk out your anus@ again.

Nigerians in SA are the biggest human traffickers, murdering fraudster criminal immigrants Fact
.

We gave you modern shopping malls when you were running around in dusty village markets,we gave you modern mobile communications network when the hole world saw Nigeria as a primitive land full of baboons. We own your economy in almost every sector we take your money and expatriate
it to SA investors. We liberated you in 2000 from dictatorship so if I were you I'll shut da f@uck up.

I'm done with you old hag.
You took the bait hook and all. Please pay attention to the bolded.

Firstly, your first paragraph is an open admission that I make you lose your cool and get under your nerves. Thanks for the insight. But it is what I've always known.

Now let's get down to business.

1- world city development didn't give Nigeria the biggest slums in the world and in Africa. South aria took that title representing Africa grin matter of fact, your city of khayelitsha is the biggest slum in Africa with rat eating 2 human babies alive #FACT. Most of the residence have open sewage and toilet drainage flowing into their living quaternary. #Fact.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1393836/Giant-rats-eat-babies-South-Africa-townships-separate-attacks.html

As an Zulu savage you're not expected to know what's going on around the world. Your little Zulu bush hut must really be luxury to you.

2- Nigerian's and Zimbabwean's are the too must hated Africans or immigrants in south Africa. Because we are your betters. You only began seeing the sun in 1994 unsurprisingly the rays are still to harsh for your eyes.

3- Nigeria does not have drug problem. Zulu, south Africa is the biggest drug consuming nation on mother earth ! https://christiandrugsupport./most-commonly-used-drugs/sa-statistics/

You even have an internationally known name for herion, marijuana as dagga. Lol. South Africa as a nation is one of the global capitals for drug trafficking network.

4- Nigerians in S.A don't traffic in humans. We simply use your beautiful females as couriers and pimp_magnets.

5- All your shopping malls are economic asylum seekers who fled your dwindling economy and black BEE. MTN is an example for you. Before Mr shop rite there hundreds of sophisticated malls scattered all over Nigeria. Shop rite and all came with cheap goods fighting to survive. MTN does not even have Moreton 3000 employees in Nigeria so how do you control an economy that is bigger than yours ? MTN also isn't the first telecommunications firm in Nigeria.

South Africa also have a trade deficit with Nigeria of over $40 billion dollars http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/2015/04/south-africa-will-never-take-nigeria-others-for-granted-high-commissioner/

6- you claim to liberate Nigeria in 2000, may I remind you that in that year present Obasanjo was running his 2nd years as a democratic elected president of Nigeria.

South africas education is also ranked 143 out of 144 countries in the world http://gga.org/stories/editions/aif-15-off-the-mark/education-in-south-africa-where-did-it-go-wrong

Now that I have demolished your emotional rantings submitted without any proof, can I remind you that you're a slave?

Not just any slave but one from a long chain of slaving ancestors and lineage who are satisfied even when empty.

Your fathers sold your heritage to the Dutch and certified you a perpetual destitute to all of humanity.

Nigeria spared your blushes after Soweto '76 when you were slaughtered like pigs. Any pseudo -freed slave of 1994 is still effectively a slave.

Your fathers didn't build a block in south Africa. Shop rite and Co are owned by your masters who continually sit on your ancestral land while you are slumming in open sewers and dumpster in Soweto and Khayelitsha.

So I was lucky to get my hands on the new phantom and I must say it was quite an experience. The first thing you notice right away is how it adds “swag” to your personality, from its Champagne Gold colored body down to its Dolby digital sound. This phone is meant for the “big boys” as they say. Unlike its name, the new Phantom is definitely NOT an illusion; the specifications are real and very VERY impressive. I immediately fell in love with the 32GB internal storage, the 3GB RAM and the Octa Core Processor because, I don’t know about you but, I LOVE ME SOME PLENTY PLENTY APPS!!!

The 5.5” FULL HIGH DEFINITION touch screen is just out of this world. You will see colors you have never seen before (FYI this is not an exaggeration).

I played “KISSING” by Yemi Alade (I’m so obsessed with her) on the Phantom and OMG, what I heard was the true sound of music. I did experience the Boom J7 and I was amazed but this Phantom takes the cake. This is not something that can be explained with words, it is something that needs to be heard.

I mean, forget Kim Kardashian, I am the real selfie queen. When I noticed it had an 8MP front camera with flash, (OMG! WITH FLASH!!!) and a 13MP back camera, I decided to take a selfie, ok maybe 50 selfies.

The icing on the cake for me was the finger print identity sensor at the back of the phone. That is some high level security stuff. I know a lot of guys would be happy about this because there’s no way your girlfriend will look through your phone without chopping off your finger to unlock it. We pray it doesn’t get to that.

This phone is definitely something you would want to spend money on.
Please can we verify Tecno's phone specifications independently from a foreign GSM source like gsmarena, or phone mania or mobiles-review. Not from a blog by an individual in Nigeria.

I dont see you refuting any of the statements I made.

Enjoy life in the shade - because the sun shines squarly on South Africa, you shall forever be in our shadow cool

Proven by fact and fact alone.
You have a penchant for being shamelessly stiffnaked.

You claim south Africa's education is superb and I brought you figures that ranked southafrican education 140 out of 144 countries And your science and technology grades were ranked 143 out of 144 countries .Your pupils are mass failures as pass marks had to be reduced to 30 percent.

You claim to have an advanced economy yet for over 7 years your economy is faring worse than any African country. Your wealth distribution is the worst in Africa.

You claimed to be the most civilized in Africa yet no African country can muster xenophobia with ease and frequency like south Africa.

Neither do we have Africans mass ræping 89 year old great grand mothers except south Africans.

You claimed to have the biggest influence in Africa (a title that belongs to Egypt by the way) by counting embassies around the world, yet you had to bribe to host a world cup that was narrowed down to only African countries. SMH. NIGERIA EFFORTLESSLY ISOLATED SOUTH AFRUCA TWICE IN AFRICA.

YOU POINT TO BRICK AND G20. hmm old scores from depleted statistics that's no longer relevant.

How do you want your funeral ? Should I behead you and you miraculously still be able to see your detached head in my hand before you know you stand defeated, bamboozled and destroyed by me?

Patrick, the big toad with rainbow blinders.

I asked you to give us the conditions Nigeria met before Pretoria released the 15 million arms money.

Lying , disgusting _idiot of a quack.

Where's the proof for the 33,000 murders a day you shamelessly claimed. Zulu-newt.

Descendant of living slaves.
From a lineage of dyslexic parasitic , cave dwelling neanderthals . As a black south African , you're a burden to the entire black race and Africa.

You're being endlessly rapęď by your minority white masters and been rendered irrelevant by Nigerians,

I will wager you're suffering from attention deficit syndrome and identity crisis plus a heritage marked by cowardice, subjugation and shame.

Your ancestors were under achievers whose land hold the wealth of gold but where too busy competing with monkeys on tree-hopping proficiency until a hand full of Europeans came and disposed them of thier gold, land and heritage.

And you, the descendants of those sub humanoids dare to banter with me, your redeemer!

You have no respect, Zulu Newt.

No one cares about your opinion. I have debunked your statements so many times that I no longer derive any please from exposing the empty rhetoric of your posts.

But one last time shall we?

6. We are amongst the most developed people on the continent - Nigerians amongst the least
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_African_countries_by_Human_Development_Index

You took the bait eventually grin grin grin.

3) You boast of an advanced economy that is underperforming even by African standards shocked shocked

How irrelevant is Nigeria that your country has a substantial trade deficit worth over 40 billion.

How irrelevant is a country that has the largest economy on mother continent with a population 4 times yours whose youths are over 70%.

The difference between Nigeria and south Africa is we have a goal in sight and we pursue this goal with no hint of self'-delusion .

South Africa on the other hand is a confused mix of frightened Botha descendants and a large Zulu population, most of which are illiterate, misinformed and under the false impression that pre-apartheid south Africa is same as today's south Africa.

You have now revealed your true colours that you are only targeting SA investment. Remember we didn't ask to be in Nigeria, Jonathan sent delegation team to SA to ask for investment when nobody wanted to do anything with Nigeria. The same SA investors who have created jobs and even offered scholarships to your children. By the way that is lesson leant, not only by SA investment but the whole world.

MTN will never pay!!!
Are you weeping already? Your tears are only adding to the flood sweeping Zulu kingdom away.

Believe me, Pretoria will come cap in hands to negotiate with us. China has the west scurrying for deals and investment. Who's to say Nigeria can't do the same in Africa ?

Mtn needn't pay, we shall nationalize it then. If we nationalize British Barkley bank, Kingsway and other top British firms in the 70's to stop apartheid and grant black south Africans a taste of freedom, then we can do much worse to any other firm , especially from a useless competitive and ungrateful country like Zulu kingdom.

Well, Pretoria has already sent in delegation to plead, let's see if we can help .

mzilakazi:
Yesterday talks were held on the radio with SA commercial sabotage expert in which issues were raised concerning MTN's outrageous fine of $5.2 billion. It was, however noted that Nigeria is in a huge financial crisis owing to constant falling oil prices and hence will look up to any means to amount any cash even by illegitimate means.

The following possibilities were raised by experts.

1. The fine was predetermined and outrageous, no where in the world have you seen such madness.

2. The nature of Nigeria's institutions of higher learning characterised by low quality education and consequently producing half-baked professionals as in the case of Nigerian professionals whom were hired by MTN Nigeria has effectively played a role. The action of deactivating even over 100 million subscribers could not have taken SA trained technicians more than five days to complete. This effectively proves that Nigeria's universities are of a low grade for producing half-baked professionals who could not render a simple task of deactivating unregistered sim cards on their mainstream network.

3. The element of bribery could have as well taken effect, since MTN had always been a target of Nigerias government. There is a high possibility that the CEO of MTN Nigeria being a Nigerian by birth could have been compromised in exchange of exorbitant amount of bribes to drag his feet in response to catching up with the deadline set up by the commission.

What are avenues for MTN?

1.MTN should institute immediate forensic investigation with experts imported from SA and America to investigate the commission of white collar crimes and sabotage.

2. A total pull out at no cost. MTN has an option of shutting down their business in Nigeria and leave them with a burden of unemployment and shrinking GDP with nothing to pay.

3. South Africa and Indian relations have now been lifted with already some SA shops launching their business in India. MTN has an option of dumping Nigeria for India.

THIS HOWEVER SERVES AS PRECEDENT FOR FOREIGN COMPANIES AND INVESTORS TO KEEP AWAY FROM NIGERIA AND LEAVE IT TO SINK IN A POOL OF UNEMPLOYMENT AND LOW FDI.
You typically represent the millions of black south Africans: s.tupid, timid, emotionally deluded and inexperience in all spheres of human efforts.

First off south Africa has done its SIM registration which is marked by low level organisation and basic paper stuffs. No biometrics or advanced technology.

Nigeria has over 140 million gsm subscribers with mtn having 62 million, that's more than the entire population of your country. Coupled with biometrics, data capture, the process should take time.

Mtn has been fined 200,000 naira for this same offense last year as well as other gsm companies in Nigeria. While others quickly put their business in order, mtn was busy making profit.

The sheer amount of unregistered mtn subscribers that had access to the NIGERIAN network is a matter of national security, thus the huge fine.

If you accuse the NIGERIAN government of looking for easy money due to fallen oil price, may I call you an enfeebled, imbecilic , drooling ,tree-hopping Zulu.

While Nigeria economy still happens to grow 2.3 percent as at 3 quarter 2015, south Africa's economy is not stagnant : it is shrinking.

Perhaps, your government is the one looking for easy money through its multinational.

Zulu _baboon.
Phones › Re: We Nigerians Are Unfair To MTN by lezz(m):
Princedapace:
Dear Nigerians, each time I read comments regarding this MTN penalty madness by NCC, I end up wondering if most of the comments were just for fun or realistic opinion of the commentators both on Nairaland and other top social sites. The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC slammed a N1.4 trillion penalty on MTN Nigeria for failure to disconnect customers with unregistered SIM cards. That fine is outrageous please! We have to stop the sentiments. I don't see MTN paying that huge amount of money. They have given reasons why they were reluctant with the SIM card deactivation thing which I believe is credible and reasonable enough.

We should not forget that MTN has the largest data base of users in Nigeria and they care so much about their customers more than the unfriendly policy.
They wanted a gradual process to the issue which favoured their customers more. Trust most Nigerians, registration of our SIM has always been an issue because of our 'attitudes'. MTN even called some customers, pleaded on many of them and even used free bonuses to encourage subscribers to register and update their SIM but many still refused. That's how we roll in Nigeria smiley Now, deactivating those SIMs would have resulted to severe difficulties for users who had genuine reasons for their inability to update their account.
Yes, MTN violated the law but justice can be tampered with mercy. MTN has done so much for this country: from infrastructural development to massive man power empowerment and development. From educational development to massive entertainment industry boost, in summary, MTN corporate social responsibility programmes are highly commendable and among the best in this country. MTN has changed lives in this country: many people can pay their bills because of this same company. MTN has done so much for us and should be respected please.Their (MTN) investments in the telecom sector have affected other telecom giants positively. This embarrassment against MTN should stop please. MTN is not like all these Indian and Lebanese companies that reserve most juicy management positions for their own citizens only, MTN pays their direct workers (Nigerians) very well unlike most of these foreign companies operating in Nigeria i.e ISON BPO. Top management players in MTN Nigeria are Nigerians. I strongly believe they should be respected and the large data
base and services the company operates here in Nigeria should be considered too. It's not easy to adhere to such rule while having such data base like that of MTN.
For those calling for MTN to leave
I laugh in Chinese and Zulusmiley Yes, if MTN leaves Nigeria, it will surely affect the company heavily but we will suffer it more. Our economy will suffer and unemployment will rise. You are calling on Nigerians to port to Glo and others: wait until any of these telecom companies handle the number of subscribers MTN is currently handling, then you will appreciate MTN better...I can bet you, many of them will collapse! They will not be able to handle such huge traffic.
Those of you calling MTN names
Can you count how many times you have cheated MTN to browse for free? Do you think the infrastructures used for internet services are bought for free? Do you think it is easy to maintain a business in the Nigerian environment with poor power and transportation sectors? Think again please! Don't ever forget that you benefit from MTN directly or indirectly. For those of you crying about MTN promo, did MTN force you into any promo? And most of us don't read terms and conditions of these services and promo from MTN and others.
MTN does not force you to subscribe to any of her services. Yeah, some marketing strategies are deployed to lure customers into certain services but it's still left for you to opt-in and opt-out. I can beat my chest to say that since 2009 I started using MTN line, I have never experienced any reason to accuse them of stealing. I rather say thank you to MTN than accuse MTN of stealing from me. Subscribers make the mistake of subscribing for one service or the other and finally accuse MTN of stealing from them. Some subscribers leave their app running on the background while their airtime gets deducted and they blame it on MTN. You're asking DSTV to leave as if it is DSTV that's working against an indigenous company from doing well in the same market. We complain about MTN and we still don't want to leave them, why? Other telecom companies should compete well with MTN or is it MTN that prevented Glo from taking over other African countries? MTN remains the best network in Nigeria and Africa, take it or leave it. The company should be respected and appreciated too. At least, they accepted to invest in the Nigerian telecom industry back then when other companies where shying away from Nigeria. They made the sector attractive. They made the industry lucrative, they believed in Nigeria when others didn't. I love MTN with my whole heart. Please, we should empathize with them instead of slamming them.

I couldn't read through the long prose of emotional horse _shit you were yapping up there without a surge of bile surging up in my guts.

ARE YOU A NIGERIAN ??

5.2 million unregistered active SIM is a matter of national security and flagrant disregard of the laws of this country. With the high rates of kidnappings, boko Haram, advance fee fraud, threats and intimidation. I wish the NCC and DSS could add criminal litigation to that sweet fine.

What mtn has done for Nigeria is just a drop in the ocean compared to what they make.

This is a network thAt claimed per second billing isn't possible in Nigeria until Glo forced them on it.

This is a network that has 63 million subscribers....more than the entire population of south Africa.

Nope, mtn needs Nigeria like humans need air.

When GlaxoSmithKline, BMW, etc defaulted in China early 2015, these British and German companies paid huge fines and tendered unreserved apology to the government and people of the republic of China.

It is no longer business as usual in Nigeria. It's about time Nigeria started flexing her powers by punishing multinationals who exploit and flaunt our laws blatantly.

Dstv should be next.....

By the way.... South Africa seized our alms money at a time of dire need against boko haram for breaking money laws, despite the urgency and lives at stake.
