iliyande: Where is South Africa in the World Map They should shut up and focus on repairing their failure to tackle xenophobic attacks on fellow Africans than trying to be relevant in the world..... The country is always biting more than she could chew, always punching far above her weight. This country hustle for attention globaly like a curb whöre pretending she is an international voice. The hieght of self delusion. The ANC,a mere failing political party is now speaking to the world on behalf of the South African government over issues that shouldn’t bother them. Come to think of it, what is the weight of South Africa’s opinion over Israel’s decision? None whatsoever. |

Jk210: Since the Innoson and Gtbank brouhaha broke out, I've been curious about the Bank's position especially as they have been silent.
Could this be because they were truly guilty of wrong doing or, is the Bank being blackmailed by Innoson- you know guerilla tactics? I mean why the whole social media campaign on a matter that is strictly a legal issue? Is there something more than meets the eye? Anyway, read the premium times article below and share your thoughts
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/promoted/253089-innoson-efcc-arrest-gtb-loan-facts-behind-saga-james-osaremen.html this clearly looks like a GTB sponsored article. 3 high courts across different geopolitical zones cannot be wrong; GTB stole from Innoson. |
Car Talk › Re: Ford Mustang 5.0 GT Vs Dodge Challenger SRT 6.1 Hemi - Who's Your Winner? by lezz(m): 10:54am On Dec 20, 2017 |
nurey: Most percentage of the time, engine displacement doesnt matter, no be by V12 biturbo nah, what am saying is both cars get to 62mph in 4.5seconds, the dodge should even have an advantage with its 6.1L HEMI (Except all that na initial gra gra )
The bottom line is i dont care whether the ford has carbon fibre chasis, brembo brakes etc according to the data sheet, both engines would get to 100km/h @ same time and the challenger would start dusting the ford @ the 265mph mark. Its a straight line race, i expected no winner That they have same 0-62 mph time in their data sheet doesn’t make it so in practice. Cars are tasted in different road conditions, wind and Tyres. Both cars tested could be using different tyres which may have a slight advantage in initial takeoff over the other. That’s why F1 cars use same tyres for racing. Again most factory reported 0-60 time are gotten from simulations and not actual road test. Some car companies give conservative estimates while some don’t. |

MrAcube: Let me make this simple for u if u are having trouble understanding it. I want u to ask a legal practitioner to expantiate on human right for u, may be u will begin to understand where an infringement had occurred. And also try and find where, in the law school rule book, wearing of Hijab was prohibited. yes, at the very end the lady will be granted huge financial relief for the violation of her right to practice Islam. The board will be instructed to publish an apology in 5 National dailies and her call to bar will be televised live on NTA. |

MrAcube: What dress code are u hammering on oga. What's wrong in someone wearing hijab under her wig jàre. The constitution is supreme for ur info. and it clearly supports the lady's right to dress as her religion dictates. Perhaps u should go read the constitution and be better informed. Mr. Acube , please help the lady sue the board for infringing on her constitutional rights. And please try and cite examples where lawyers have dressed informally in court in Nigeria. Help that lady. |

Origin: Apparently Nigeria's sovereignty is based on the commonwealth. Talk another thing I beg.
Even if you see evidence of a British hijabi being called to the bar, you will still disagree based on bias.
The similitude of this is:
Why is Nelson Mandela fighting when his people have been enslaved for centuries. Failing to call that lady to the bar is UNJUST. no bias there. Dress code for lawyers are strictly regulated in Nigeria as even in the UK. So she can not use a hijab on her lawyer attire. It’s simply against the code. It wasn’t even until around year 2000 female lawyers in the uk where allowed to put on trousers. American legal system is not a close parallel as it isn’t governed by strict dress code. Stop the religious blackmail. |

Okoroawusa: So a man with all these qualifications of his doesnot deserve to be ASP simply becos his father is an Emir?
The igbos will ask:"I ga buru ogbenye, buru amosu?" Meaning:"will u be wretched n still be an obstacle of progress at d same time?" The point is, it would be difficult getting a southerner with a Western bsc who will stoop to become a police man after an expensive Western education. The north target the military and paramilitary in the country to entrench their coercive rule. I will never stop wondering why a former governor to the CBN and current Emir will have his son become a policeman when other plum jobs are in the offing. |

Lawlahdey: It's not just the police force tho. But it's worse because they are actually supposed to be the guardian of the law and yet they violate and kick at it at will. I do not think Nigeria is anywhere near a brighter future just yet. True, the police isn't the only one guilty but using the mandate and trust of the people to criminally rob and extort them is a tragic irony. |

I have always said the difference between Nigeria police and armed robbers is one dons a uniform and has the mandate of the government to rob and extort in full glare of the public.
The Nigeria police is the seat of corruption in Nigeria.

hotwax: May be you should read the write up again. I did. hotwax: Playing hard to get for a serious guy, but give bad guys, players free access is a problem...I will be surprize if you fail to see this. The emboldened is at best an add-on to your overriding theme. But let me ask; Does being serious a prerequisite for a girl to give in? She may not like your disposition or carriage even if your intentions are honest. hotwax: Girls prefer bad guys over decent guys. But when they are ready to marry, they start looking for decent guys. And that is why most of them always claim men are evil. They dated the evil of the men. I think girls prefer spontaneous and adventurous guys with confidence, not necessarily bad guys. Good guys who display those traits score well. hotwax: Like I wrote, they playing hard to get is fun right? But let them also feel the hard to get when they are 30 years old. Depending on the scale marriage occupies in her list. |
Romance › Re: Guys, life Is Fair To The Both Sides. Stop Complaining by lezz(m): 12:37pm On May 03, 2017 |
Advising guys to purnish girls for playing hard to get at thier prime is only displaying bruised ego and inability to handle life from a male's perspective.
Guys will undervalue or even distrust an easy target even if she loves him genuinely. Real men love the chase.
And nature made women to lead and tease men on as we are the ones with the steroid hormone called testosterone.
So if a girl has 4-7 guys hitting on her daily, her natural selective defence mechanism will kick in to do the screening. It is nature working at its finest. It is a natural preservative or selective process put in place by nature.
Men with lots of cash also do selective/use-and-discard technique too. |

Koolking: You don't prove a point online by making libelous comments as if it's the truth. Some get away, while some are not so lucky. The dude didn't show he quoted or culled the statement somewhere. Most media houses twist statements in order to garner public attentions and sell their news. We have to watch our vituperation. For the fact that, there is freedom of speech in a democratic setting does not mean we should go extreme by making careless statements. I believe in effective criticisms and not slanders. I am non-partisan but a Pro-good governance.

Koolking: Oh dear! This proved how gullible Nigerians can be. The reason poo sells in Nigeria. Someone wrote a libelous piece somewhere, the next thing is for a supposed graduate to copy and paste, thereafter, swore he stumbled on the truth? He even has the temerity to refer us to his libelous source. Mehn, I can't comprehend. Audio source of the interview would have been just fine. These are the typical lazy and ignorant types who copy and paste all sort of unverifiable info on Whatsapp groups.
I do not thrive on hearsay but truth. If you are too feeble minded, tell your stories to kids, don't bring it public domain of matured minds. The libelous piece has a trail online and I haven't seen your master going after it in legal redress. Or is the chain he hangs about your neck too short for you to reach yonder? You're still a tyro in mopping up political mess. And it's evident from your backwater logic. Why do you seek cheap relevance at attacking innocent posters who only quotes established sources that could be easily reached to retrieve the "libellous" posts? Political Pharisee! |
