Cars are tasted in different road conditions, wind and Tyres. Both cars tested could be using different tyres which may have a slight advantage in initial takeoff over the other. That’s why F1 cars use same tyres for racing.


Again most factory reported 0-60 time are gotten from simulations and not actual road test. Some car companies give conservative estimates while some don’t.
