Is it not in this same govt that Abike and Pantami traded words and almost going physical. There seems to be no coordination from the central authority at all. |
Haaaaaaaa! What now? It seems the destiny of this regime is to bankrupt the country. Sadly the seemingly rubber-stamp legislature will approve this without serious scrutiny. You rub my back , I rub your back, paddy-paddy arrange 'gonment' |
Something that still baffles me is that there are more Muslims (16.6%) in Israel than Christians (2.10%) yet Nigerian Muslims are against Israel while their Christian counterpart are in support Perhaps we have all forgotten that Palestinian Christians are also at the receiving ends of the attacks and occupation by Israel. The world will be a better place if we all stand for the oppressed instead of viewing things from the religious angle at all times. |
Tomorrow is here |
There is absolutely no need of wasting scarce resources on any elections. The governor should just be told to submit the list of his cronies for the available positions. |
JAMB appears like a money-making venture bent on frustrating the students while exploring means of exploiting them further. So many candidates trying to obtain the required profile codes have sent countless messages costing #50 per time to no avail. Why must they be charged #50 to obtain a profile code when they'll still pay for the registration proper? |
They refuse to grant audience to the Nigeria media but will be delighted to sing like a canary bird at the front of the foreign journalists. Will he be able to dodge live interactions at the summit? I wish him safe trip. |
This should be determined by the nature of the job. Someone who runs a little eatery by the corner will most likely pay two or three assistants daily. Same thing for most unskilled laborers in construction sites. Will a school pay the teachers daily? |
The hypocrisy of some Emperors who want to Lord it over the other arms and yet screams restructuring when LGs can't even breathe under their choking knees. |
An ex-in-law then. The media just want to sensationalize it. |
Those who partitioned Africa should have lumped Northern Nigeria with Chad and Niger. Southwestern Nigeria with Togo and Benin. Some of us would have been reading about Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram, Buhari etc as foreigners. |
I think it was explicit enough. The holidays were for Wednesday and Thursday. Anyone who misses work on Friday on the premise of observing holiday should be duly penalised. ...even though the Federal Secretariats would be scanty tomorrow as some of them no dey come work on Friday before. |
Joel3:That is when the real katakata fight go begin. Perhaps the only reason why his minions have not descended on Buhari is just the ticket. If APC mistakenly denies him the ticket, there will be a rumble. |
Beyond payment of their outstanding salaries, these state government that wilfully disband elected LG Chairmen from Oyo to Katsina must be heavily sanctioned. They knew all along that it was illegal to do so but still went ahead, knowing fully well that it'll take years before judgement comes and by then they would have achieved their selfish aims. Come to think of it, is not from the same lean state purse that these Ex-LG Chairmen will be paid for not rendering any services to their people? How I wish the Supreme Court order the Gov to pay them from his personal purse. |
Anyone or group of people planning to attack Lagos should think twice. The destruction that accompanied the hitherto EndSars protest wouldn't be allowed to happen again. This time, all tribes will most definitely unite to deal with the perpetrators. |
Unfortunately there will always be some willing southern useful idiots who will be falling over themselves to defend this and many more glaring inadequacies of the Buhari-Osinbajo govt. |
Successive govt including Buhari-Idiagbon regime and the ongoing Buhari-Osinbajo administration. They'll wouldn't stop blaming everyone and everything. |
Government needs to keep the bridge safe from destitutes, mentally challenged, hawkers and criminals |
If robbers can 'invade' such fortified area, who says terrorists can't? Imagine if they are able to kidnap the Chief of Staff, they'll simply ask for the key to the vault at CBN. The chicken is coming home to roost and they should all be worried. |
Let's wait for Uncle Lai and Bro Femi to spin this. Garba and Bashir are down. |
chuose2:Also Rock of all places? It's hard to believe the news but then, anything can happen in this Buhari ruderless regime. The fact that there was an attempt whether foolish or not is a huge indictment on this regime. How audacious could the robbers be to even pull this stunt. |
You cannot give what you don't have |
Buhari is from Daura |
The president is media shy. This perhaps will be the first regime in recent time where a group of unelected people hiding under the tag 'Presidency' rule the people via proxy. |
If the law requires that Abaribe should produce Kanu for allegedly jumping bail, why is the government footdragging in taking him to court. Buhari's presidency should do a personal retrospect on how a much loved Sai baba suddenly becomes sour on the mouth of the people. |
You see these selfish people. The fortified presidential gate will only be accessible to members only. How about hundreds of other workers and aides working in the complex? They were playing the Ostrich and blind political loyalty to the president, now see where it has got everyone to. Let them feel the heat too. |
I'm surprised CNN too calls this violence ' farmers-herders clashes ' when obviously one part has always been the aggressor. These are clear actions of attack on the farmers and their business by the privileged herders. |
We joke too much in this country |
It will be a futile attempt at exonerating Osinbajo from the many shortcomings of this regime. That ticket was Buhari-Osinbajo ticket. They'll share the glory and blame together. |
He made the statement when he was still a youth and inexperienced. Now that he has come of age, he has recanted such anti Nigeria rhetorics. |
Only God knows the technology used in cloning Amechi's voice ( pun intended) If they could deny Gandollar's video, how much more an audio. Obaseki may be vindicated after all. |
