They'll be migrated to Adamu Garba's Cowwe app |
From the report earlier read, Ekiti government ably involved NLC in the decision making. This perhaps was the difference between the two undesirable and avoidable situations. No matter how genuine your intentions might be , the moment you become autocratic and act like a demigod, you're bound to incur the wrath of the people. El-Rufai needs to come down from his high horses. |
Is Putin a terrorist? Is Russia a terrorist nation? |
Case 1: The herders from hell want land for grazing and thus resulted into killing the locals and destroying their homes and lands. FG reaction: We'll create RUGA settlement while also blaming the locals for not being hospitable and accommodating enough. Case 2: A fraction of Igbo people in the South East in pursuit of self determination were quickly proscribed and labeled terrorists and decimated at the slightest provocations. Now that they have eventually metamorphosed into something dreadful FG's reaction: We'll treat them like we did to progenitors during the avoidable civil war. You self be the judge. |
Imagine for a moment if Twitter has its headquarters in Nigeria. |
...and takes it a level higher. |
Then the gazzete newspaper must be made to retract or substantiate the earlier story https://gazettengr.com/breaking-neco-registrar-godswill-obioma-assassinated/?utm_source=ReviveOldPost&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost Every irresponsible journalism must be punished. At this precarious situation in the country, the least we should encourage is a news capable of further unsettling the troubled nation |
Hopefully the media wouldn't set the country ablaze last last. The purveyors of fake news should be identifier and properly prosecuted before they wreck more havoc. |
Kola Small time now, OXFORD dictionary will soon add kola into their lexicon. |
Incompetent and arrogant, that's a very very bad combination. Any nation that has such attributes combined in a leader is unfortunate. |
Does he really have the power to confiscate a shop because the owner decides to close for a day in commemoration of whatever he believes? He can only dictate to the civil servants whose salaries need his approval. |
Will they also punish the spouses and children of convicted corrupt politicians and civil servants? |
wink2015:Sure they must make money but not by giving their platforms to charlatans to defraud unsuspecting masses. Countless number of people must have fallen into this ditch because they heard the daily advert on their reputed stations. There was a time NBC sanctioned TV stations from airing miracle programmes by some religious organizations |
Business partners |
The radio stations that daily run advert for these fraudulent companies should also be sanctioned. |
That's what they'll probably use Ibori recovered loot for. |
Everyone knew the US government wouldn't want to release him on bail. Saying the presented surety is suspected fraudster does not seems to jell. If she's a fraudster, prosecute her alongside the accused. In all, crime does not pay. You do the crime, be prepared to do the time. |
This is public fund going to the drains right there. The contractor and the government agents who supervised and certified it should be answering questions as we speak. |
Nigeria, which is the big brother in ECOWAS is bedeviled with her own internal security and economic problems. Let Mali, a sovereign nation solve her problems. |
PDP is suffering already, otherwise a state governor wouldn't be holding the party by it's jugular. PDP don suffer sha, who was Wike in the scheme of things some years back. |
Another Governor will come and reverse the entire thing and then re-award the properties to his cronies. Thee circus show continues. |
As much as the Gov wanted to evade the question, the Channel's presenter who seems to be 'excited' by the word 'defection' ensured that he answered it. Political parties are mere vehicles for the actualization of personal aspirations. No ideology whatsoever. The only party in Nigeria is APDPC. |
Fistop:Then the 22nd COAS should be careful on the 22nd of June. Isn't that the drift? |
Someone different from the person expected is probably calling the shot in this country at the moment. Welcome on board the new COAS. RIP the late COAS. That office isn't yours forever, if you die today, thousands are on the queue to replace you the next moment. Take everything easy but strive for the best. Lesson well learnt |
...if it is true... The fact must be established first before throwing shades at the Emperors. This is isn't to say Nigerian politicians aren't capable of anything though. |
The hangover from the Paris meeting is still on, he needs to rest. Funny thing is that he may not have been briefed about the General's death. |
The Govt is the one actively encouraging casual workings and other undignified working conditions in the various slave camps called factories that litter the country. You need teachers for your poorly staffed schools but instead to employ qualified people to start their careers, you roll out Ogun Teach where graduates will slave again for peanut for another 2 years while dangling the hope of absorbing them into the civil service before them. Same thing their did for the FTS teachers and discarded them after making them toil in the rural schools for two years with their irregular 30k per month. Till tomorrow they still 'ate' 2 to 3 months of their stipends. I wish you well OP but don't get scammed. |
So there's attack on Police even in France. So Police in France could also complain of lack of adequate weapons. Uncle Lai may have just seen a new line of defence. |
The evil that provided the platform for him to become a Governor twice. Can't people just defect without badmouthing their erstwhile party? |
#380 from #165. That's more than double the present cost! The wickedness of some people is truly factory fitted. The excuse of smugglers taking the commodity into neighbouring countries is stale, wicked and lazy. Don't we have agencies funded to prevent snuggling? |
This may be unpopular. But should the striking workers shut down banks, hospitals and other essential institutions thereby causing more pains to the masses? El-Rufai may appear tyrannical but then the actions of the Labour Union if not well coordinated may eventually bring resentment from the masses towards them. That's the emotion El-Rufai is whipping and they had better watch it. |
