If this man eventually goes down for this crime, then Sahara Reporters deserve a medal |
Freethinker87:Great that you're not contemplating quiting the struggle. The much the moderators here can do is to push this to the front page so as to receive enough coverage. You'll surely get justice. |
The poor will always be at the receiving end of everything. |
It won't be out of place to conclude that the reason most people get into Police or any other uniform jobs is to attain the power to intimidate and harass others. You may have to return to Twitter and tag Segalink and other civil rights activists. |
The excesses of the bad eggs amongst the men of the SARS must be curbed. The Nigeria Police itself has to be reformed and repackaged to reflect the modern policing system. ...but I kid you not, some of these cultists and criminals are still very much afraid of SARS. I wish we don't throw away the baby with the bath water. Let the government identify the bad cops and punish them accordingly |
Can they conclude this stale drama on time and charge Magu to court already. |
Charmingrascal:It's hard to be angry with someone and still be faking smiles with them. That's dangerous and hypocritical. |
Subsistence or commercial? Jokers all of them. No one even cares about the students any longer. |
Was is it not this same Government asking for tax from him few days ago? If they're banking on Lekan's newly found fame to get votes from the youth, then it's a DOA |
Kalu stole no single dime from the government he served between 1999-2007. Maybe these fictitious Northern youths have forgotten that Kalu was left off the hook not because he didn't steal bit because the judge that sentenced him wasn't the right person to do so - maybe part of the grand scheme anyway. They are at the liberty to support their own 'thief' as other people have been doing to theirs too. But while at it, please don't insult our collective sensibilities. |
If the things we see in movies are true, I hope these archeologists will not dig up one of these ancient brutal spirits humanity might not be able to rein in |
It is his inaleniable right to seek redress in the court of law. If he has so decided to thread that part, no one should begrudge him. After all PDP opened the eyes of the world to the alleged discrepancies in Obaseki's certificate |
Thought they were planning ₦5000 note sometimes ago and turning ₦5 and ₦10 to coins If only we can revert to the era of 10kobo, 25kobo 50kobo and #1 coins. ... and perhaps make ₦100 the highest note. |
It has been a while anything made sense in this country. Like the writer clearly observed, the reaction to any action of the government depends on which side of the divide the commentator is. To some , Buhari is the best thing to have happened to Nigeria since creation. You can't blame them, you don't talk while eating. Blame the system and the leaders who allow praise singers and sycophants thrive around them. |
Should he not be thankful? What if the jet develops such fault while already in air? What if the audacious Boko boys mistaken the jet for a fighter jet. What if..... |
They're business and political partners. Tinubu is closer to Atiku than to Buhari. |
No one knows our exact population and strangely too, only a few people know how much barrel of crude oil we produce per day. This is a top secret they've kept from us. |
There's hardly a godson installed by a godfather that won't eventually rebel. Why then will outgoing Governors fight dirty to always install a successor? Don't they learn from lessons? |
Man must for of something. RIP, the Berlin Patient |
Within the 14 days, you will see him honoring the Police invitation and that may subtly end the entire case. Some vibrant Civil rights organizations need to reason this matter. Na for this kain case police suppose dey disobey court order. |
Police treated him with courtesy yet he frittered that away. How many commoners will have the opportunity of being invited by the police? Now that he has been declared wanted, watch out as he scampers to the Police HQ tomorrow, if not tonight. Hard man, hard man, na because government and people never ready to put mouth for your matter. This case will give every other persons being abused by their untouchable employers to speak up now. Nigeria Police should also use the same energy on the expatriates majorly Lebanese and Chinese constantly being accused of maltreating Nigerian employees or are they above the laws? |
The more you look the less you see. These people no even send us again. Regardless of any outcry, Ondo will get that money before election except no be that man still be Senate President. |
Ordinarily, he shouldn't be reminded to pay tax after the win, it's the right thing to do. However, a government that has not demonstrated frugality and openness in handling the finances of the state should lack the moral right to compel anyone to part with their money. If possible, Lekan should calculate his tax and use such to help the people of his village with any infrastructure they lack instead of allowing some people 'flex' with free money. |
Too early to take such stance on TSTV that gave so many people false hope a couple of years back. It'll be wise to evaluate their services after one month before making such decision. Regardless, Welcome TSTV, the more the merrier. |
Oj |
Yes, we can even see it now. There's a saying that if anyone is deceiving you, be sure not to deceive yourself. Where's the infamous Grass cutter now? |
What's Wike feeling like? Seems the hype is getting to his head. Let him enjoy the new fame while it lasts. |
Consumers to repay CBN within four months with the greater burden on those on estimated billing. |
Do politicians have permanent enemies? |
Lagos as a state should be a model for some countries in Africa. Unfortunately, it seems the state can't breathe under the knees of some God fathers and under the yoke of heavy debt. |
Atouke:If this is true, then it's good. It should even be extended to all states including the Federal Government. |
